Midnight Dash - Miksy
Heyoo! So i had some time and i made a new update with bunch of new stuff and texture changes.

* Changed every unlockable door in almost every level to new one and it has an animations.
* Changed a little bit how player inputs work but really not that noticeable.
* Added one new achievement.
* Changed some cameras in some levels because some of them where unnecessary and made the levels some what more difficult and not fair.
* Changed the whole Village level look to new tileset and made the village to be actually a village
* Changed tutorial level after village to new tileset.
* Changed freedom level tileset to new also.
* Made some performance changes.

* Added Local Co-op in bonus levels and these can be accessed trough main menu. There will be more Co-op levels and changes to it in the future but i wanted to get a small test out for you guys. The co-op is local and can be played on the same device or using steams remote play or parsec. The how to use parsec you need to figure out yourself but steam remote play can be accessed when pressing "shift + tab" ingame and it should give you friendlist and other stuff on your screen and from the friendlist you can choose to play in remote play and invite your friend from there! Have fun!

  • Fixed incorrect ambient sound playing in light variant of flooded library room style.
  • Fixed quantity Surveyor not displaying correct target object in stage 'Crowded House'
  • Mage Lead Balloon: Fixed unintended behaviour when passing through a wrap snake while using this ability
  • Added new tutorial stage to Flooded Library.
  • Fixed incorrect behaviour when cancelling a Digital Guardian's movement where doing so would place them atop of the player mage.
  • Fixed unintended interaction between club and telekinetic abilities with anchorite.
  • Added somewhat patronising modern-survival-horror yellow ladder paint to help direct players towards a certain domain in an early map.

2024 Intel Briefing

We are delighted to inform you that we are progressing towards our
“Pre-Alpha" Early Access release.

This strategic move aligns with our commitment to enhancing the gaming experience by
reinvesting into our game Direct Contact.
Considering this development, certain features will be temporarily removed for further refinement
before the early access launch to reintroduce them in due course. We wish to assure
you that we value the feedback from our playtesters.

Our forthcoming update introduces a unique form of character customization and a new character
sets, and many new core mechanics; with these new features that have been expanded, which
you will have to find out by playing the game


Why Pre-Alpha?

We believe it is imperative to steer our game development in a direction where we can reinvest
into our game, in which that re-investment into the game will bring the opportunity to
incorporate numerous features and suggestions put forth by our dedicated playtesters and
esteemed fans on our Discord platform.

As passionate gamers ourselves, we have always prioritized the integrity of the game and the
quality of the gaming experience.
This is why we have consistently declined opportunities with publishers.

The release date for Direct Contact
Early Access is set for the 29th of February.
