As we've already mentioned, ParadiZe has a wide variety of wild fauna.
There are many different species, with some being more… alive than others.

Here's a brief overview of the animalZ you might encounter during your stay:


You'll meet this venerable female in ParadiZe in the desert, north of the forest. A survivor of a former circus, she's not lost her passion for playing. Just make sure you don't end up becoming the toy!

Alone or with others, you can find Serge in the canyon. With such a thick coat, he can stay very warm. So hot, if fact, that it might have gone to his head a little… That would explain a lot of things.

You'll find Sophie a few minutes' walk from the warehouses. The simplest way to characterize Sophie would be to say she's a great representative of ParadiZe and its residents: completely mad. She's also prone to losing her head… and, in fact, she literally has.

With his cute appearance and diminutive size, you might think you can safely approach Remi, but you can't. He and his gang are always hiding in the darkness of the warehouse. And if you get too close, his shyness can quickly turn into aggression.

Of course, these four friends are not the only animalZ you can meet. There are many more, but we want to surprise you and let you discover them on your own. But be careful: wild animals can bite… very hard!

Greetings Commanders!

With the original Elite's release in 1984, 2024 celebrates 40 years of the Elite series! With such a monumental milestone marking the occasion we want to share what's in store for Elite Dangerous this year! We have big plans for 2024 which we first revealed in January in the first ever Frontier Unlocked livestream and we're going to breakdown that news here!



Update 18 is currently aiming for a release on Monday 26th February. From the catastrophic failure of Salvation's Proteus Wave and the subsequent intergalactic invasion, the Thargoid War has dominated GalNet for over a year. With the terrifying arrival of the Titans and the bioconstruction of sinister spires, humanity's fate looked bleak. Now however, thanks to the combined efforts of pilots from all over the galaxy the long-awaited culmination of the saga is upon us. We don't want to spoil any of the surprises for you but we can't wait for you to experience this epic finale!

With Update 18 launching in February, what does that mean for the rest of the year? First up is Update 19. Currently aiming for a release this summer, Update 19 will introduce a full rework of the Elite Dangerous Powerplay system! We'll be going into a lot more detail on this in the future so stay tuned for more!


The conclusion of the Thargoid War and the introduction of a new Powerplay system will change the galaxy like never before. A changed galaxy is going to need new ships to explore it with! We'll be releasing at least 4 new variant ships in 2024, each with new looks and capabilities, including the magnificent Python MkII featured above!


Last but not least we are working on a brand-new feature for Elite Dangerous which we currently hope to release before the end of the year. This will be an exciting new addition to the core gameplay that we can't wait to share more on in a future episode of Frontier Unlocked!

As well as the above we'll have plenty of smaller updates and details throughout the year, so keep an eye on our News and social channels for more exciting details as the year goes on!

Happy lunar new year, keepers! As we enter the year of the dragon, we wanted to do something special to celebrate. Starting February 6, you can find a special cave in the game that will reward you with a dragon egg.

Dome Keeper will also be part of a Lunar New Year Sale, which ends on February 15th. The new pet will be unlockable until February 21 and will be a yearly event going forward, so make sure to get in there and find that Dragon, Keepers!

• Added new seasonal content for Lunar New Year. As always, you can disable seasonal content in the options if you don't like it

• resurrect will now trigger before auto heal
  
• assessor reflector can sometimes let spheres through if too close to a wall. This works better now, but can still happen (try to not spawn the sphere within the reflector).
