Different Spawnable Enemies


Some updates for Hand Spawner — now you can change enemies armor types and even spawn dat blood(y) skeleton again.

The Aggressive Enemies Setting now features a red color highlight, making it more noticeable and helping you easily see if it's still activated.


Explosion optimization
Greateley reworked amount of effects during explosions, reducing annoying performance spikes that could create noticable freezes.


Dismemberment from Explosions
The improvements made to explosions have also affected the number of enemy limbs that can be blown off simultaneously. We've significantly increased this amount. Brace yourself for some intense and gory action.


Updated Melee Models


We've updated several classic Asian bladed weapons with higher quality models — an early gift in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year.


New Options


We've added a feature to disable distance grab. When turned off, it greatly reduces the grab range, so you can only pick up weapons when your hand is very close.

Additionally, those grab-related settings have been consolidated under the Interactions tab.



Other Improvements
  • Long melee weapons can now be holstered on your back.
  • Enhanced the video quality for in-game Tips.
  • Added underlines to certain UI elements for better clarity.

Speedrun Competition Overview:

The essence of the competition is straightforward: complete the Helskate demo as quickly as possible. The timer starts the moment you begin the demo and stops the instant the final boss is defeated. Robot Revolt - Zenflux Games
Patch 0.9
Welcome to the next update for Robot Revolt, patch 0.9. Originally intended as two seperate patches, a halloween update was rolled together with a feature update. We hope you enjoy!

Our next patch (Coming Soon TM) will focus on reworking items and weapons, including added new ones. We feel like the game is finally getting close to a solid base from which to expand upon.

Highlights
- new map progression added (final, we promise!)
- added difficulty, first 5 are available, more coming in further patches
- reworked unlock system (for example the market is something you unlock)
- new biome
- attributes are rebalanced, simpler to understand but stronger
- added new transition screen
- added screenshake (can soon be disabled in options)
- knockback reworked, should be much more reliable now
- added new sound tracks and removed some old ones

New Map Progression: Portals

Above certain difficulty levels, you must use portals to advance
Portals show the location (biome) - each biome now has their own mostly unique enemies
Portals also have boons and banes, powerful rewards and penalties, choose wisely!
Each vehicle now starts in their own starting biome

Enemies
Added enemies:
  • monowheel soldier
  • centaur

- each biome has it's own variant of the starter enemy
- enemy bullets are now rendered on top for more visibility

- enemies respawn rather than die when out of bounds
- fixed shadows not updating correctly (when flying/knocked back)

- When enabled, healthbars only appear when enemies have taken damage
- nearby indicator no longer stuck on screen
- all menu back buttons are improved

- reworked unlock gui since shop was removed
- unlock gui now shows how many unlocks you have

- fixed swarm rockets not despawning correctly (performance)

We’re pushing a quick hotfix to resolve issues with Disconnections while waiting on the loading screen between Chapters 1 & 2. It should prevent the host of the party from timeouting teammates. Let us know on the Steam forums or our Discord server if the fix was effective for you.

- Added a new level: OverUnder.
- You can now mute all sound (pressing the mute button sequentially mutes musics then all sound).
- BUGFIX: Fixed a longstanding bug where the visual state of the mute button would not reflect it's state.

Level week is done! This week(ish) was a bit of a challenge I wanted to set myself to see if I could put out fun quality levels relatively quickly. I think it was a success, hopefully you agree!

What's next?
After adding some QoL improvements, I had intended to move my focus onto the "car AI update" but a lot of recent feedback has convinced me I need to revisit the new player experience. So I will be spending the next couple of weeks adding QoL features, redoing the tutorial, adding features that let the player debug their road desins etc.

I will still be adding levels/achievements during this time. So keep an eye out!

This update contains newly added "Hints" which can be found in the Unlock section. Additionally the Tutorial was refined and adjusted to be a bit more precise. A Pause was implemented when SailSim is in the background.

Some Fixes were done and few bugs eliminated. Greek Translation is done up to 83%
Tunguska: The Visitation - Enhanced Edition - Rotorist
- Added Boiled Crow Egg item and corresponding recipes. You can find the recipe either from Jerry's recipe book or the Guide to The Zone sold by Sidor.

- The chance a ghoul will block your melee attack now depends on three factors:
1. how much blunt damage the weapon has compared to sharp damage (more blunt = can crush through blocks)
2. how heavy the melee weapon is
3. player skill and swinging style (heavy swings = can crush through blocks)
4. whether the ghoul is of "heavy" type (such as scythe vs small ghouls)
For example, an axe will be less likely blocked by a ghoul than a machete.

- Fixed a bug where player can act strangely such as sliding around when pressing jump key while stunned by spider

- Fixed a bug that allows the shield to be equipped sideways in the inventory

- Fixed a bug with event listeners not cleared when returning to main menu

- For Slaughterhouse Demo, made wolves less common since they can swarm you very quickly

Hey Cat Detectives! Here's a quick update for version 1.0.1.

We've fixed the achievement issue in Sunlit Social Safari that failed to trigger. Unfortunately, players already affected by this issue will need to reset their game while retaining their achievements and then re-click the humans at the top left corner. Meanwhile we also corrected several typos in the texts. Additionally, we've added a volume bar for the music after so many requests 😄
