Online Multiplayer Issues: ・Some instances of games crashing during multiplayer. ・Receiving network connection errors when departing on a quest.
Rewards Issues: ・When a player clears a fate episode quest by restarting from a game over, if the player then continues on to another quest and unlocks a new quest difficulty, the rewards for unlocking that new quest difficulty may not be given. ・After getting the message about rewards for unlocking a new quest difficulty, if the player closes the game without saving, those rewards may no longer be obtainable upon reloading. ・Side quest rewards may not be given when playing on Ultimate difficulty from chapter select. We're working on an update that will allow affected players to obtain the rewards they should have earned.
Steam Issues: ・The game may not run properly after launching.

New Sound Effects
Previous to this patch, all towers made the same sound when shooting (the Bomber and the Purifier also had an explosion sound when the projectile hit). Now, 12 new sound effects have been added for the 38 towers that shoot! Here's the full list of changes:

Bug Fix: The Golden Vanguard now has its "ring of fire" visible again when dashing. This was added a few patches ago, but it became hidden. This was only a visual bug, as the hitbox was being expanded correctly.
Bug Fix: The Starting Trinket descriptions no longer remain visible if you hit Play while hovering them.
Hello everyone, A Curious Christmas is now over! However, as so many of you loved our Christmas update this year, we thought we'd keep the build available!
You can switch to the "christmas_2023" beta branch by:
Right clicking on The Baby in Yellow in your Steam Library
Left Click Properties
Left Click Betas
In the Beta Participation drop down select "christmas_2023"
Note:
This branch will not be updated, so if you want to see any new content you will need to swap back to “none” in the Beta Participation drop down to access the normal version of the game.
To avoid save game compatibility issues in the future the christmas_2023 build will use it's own save file.

To protect the player's bases and their progress on the server from other players, we highly recommend to always set a password, whether you are hosting a peer-to-peer server or using a dedicated server. This will give you control over who is joining your server. Likewise, be mindful of who you are inviting to your server.
In case you plan to open up the server for any reason, it is always possible to back up the save data locally, just in case.
During Early Access, we plan as a top priority to implement server-wide rights that can be set by the server admin for each player, such as guests with only viewing rights, members who can build and use the base, and moderators who can set the rights for other players.

Hello everyone! Thank you for your continued interest in the game. The For the Queen team is a small one, so we have a hard time identifying and fixing issues, but it's all thanks to your help that we are able to do so. As always, thank you.
Today's bug fixes center around game freezes after winning battles, some life drain issues, fixes for English translations of achievements, and more... along with patches to help with saber error popups and backups.

Development on episode 3 has been progressing steadily. This month a lot of new puzzle segments were prototyped, tested, and roughly finished.
A major story section was also recently finished, and a new one has begun.
Australia - Region Restriction Lifted
The issue related to availability in Australia has been resolved for the time being, and the game should now be available for sale once again on Steam. The game now has a rating of 18+ for high impact themes.
However, this is not a permanent resolution. Game ratings can be changed or revoked, and some countries have legal mandates related to ratings. This can determine whether a game can be sold on a digital market or not.
Australia's classification law reserves the following:
Section 21A: Revocation of classification of films or computer games that are found to contain contentious material
Just be aware that the availability of this game on Steam could be dropped from certain regional markets at any time.
In such events, this generally only affects the sales and store presence of the game. If you already own the game you should still have access to it in your Steam Library.

Patch 2.0.10 is coming soon. It will be a minor fix patch that aims to fix the issues with music buffering by caching all audio data in memory, rather than repeatedly streaming from disk.
