-fixed a big issue where the non full auto sounds could not be heard for other players over the network
-fixed a big issue where if the player would quick tap the fire for auto weapons then the other players would not hear the fire sound over the network
-fixed an issue where the tracers would appear in the wrong position, starting from behind the player, when we would look at another player shooting
Added/Changed:
-the fracturing system is now added to realtime map lights. Now those lights are really destroyable/fracturable too!
-added a variety of breaking sounds when destroying a light
-added a variety of breaking glass sounds when destroying a glass
-added sound effects when toggling the lightswitches on or off (2 sounds)
-added sound effects when toggling the house powersouces on or off (2 sounds)
-final polishes and optimizations to the new fracturing system. It now should be pretty stable and complete

Hiya! I'm excited to talk through all the cool stuff we've been up to over the past two weeks - there's a ton of non-Trash Goblin stuff going on around the edges of Milky Towers right now, all very exciting... but you're here for Goblin news so let's get on with sharing it!
PROGRESS
Now, we thought it'd be great to show you some of the musical trinkets we've been hard at work bringing to tuneful life! They were the first stretch goal you Goblins unlocked, so it makes sense to start there!
A Viola is not a Violin. And even though it sounds like maybe it'd be smaller, it is actually bigger. Like an Orc is to a Goblin, maybe?
The Lyre is one of the world's oldest musical instruments, and their strings are supported by a yoke. And what's that about 'slotted'...?
A tiny wee drum with cute lil' feet. PLS IGNORE THE SCRIBBLED ONES. Oh dangit, we know you're going to obsess about the Acorn Drum now...
This is a Lute. You can tell it's a Lute and not a Flute because it cannot 🎶Toot🎶
Another glimpse into our process- this time on the Flute! Which definitely 🎶toots🎶! Yours truly used to play the Flute...
In the image above you can see the progression (left to right) from concept to in-engine plus the icon that is drawn for use in the Stash! Donnie is an amazing concept artist and Tahlia does just the most incredible job of realising his work in three dimensions. But who draws the Stash icons? Dare to hazard a guess?
Of course, lots of other things are being worked on - planned, prototyped and polished - but I want to make sure we don't share before we're certain of it. and if we're not certain, we might show you work-in-progress stuff anyway and then ask you questions!
HOT TOPIC - BLOCK TYPES
We always ask you for ideas and steer on what to cover - we could blether on forever about all kinds of things, but it's better if you have something you wanna hear about - and the lovely CitizenSnips came through with a doozy on our discord!
"This randomly snuck into my head this morning. But I remembered some time ago asking about things we wanted to see. Your new block ideas! The calm tinkity tink game sits in the depths of my idle mind. What fun block ideas do you have?"
Well then. Let's go! Usual caveats apply - these are ideas that may be good, some might be bad, and either way may or may not end up in the game. Them's the breaks.
Noodle-Chain Block Will destroy a chain of blocks when the weak face is destroyed
Type Change Block Will change the surrounding blocks to different ones
Grow Block Any time you chip any other block, it grows - both in size and HP!
Unstable Magic Block It randomly changes to any other block, based on a timer and/or you chipping any other blocks.
Shy Block Every time you chip it, it teleports to another spot! Chase that block!
Worm Block Every time you chip a face, it grows another of itself off the opposite face. You'd have to 'aim' it at an occupied block to destroy it!
And talking about this stuff made me realise we can share a little bit of how we work! Visuals are so important, and help us communicate more efficiently when it comes down to mechanics and all kinds of design elements. Don't get me wrong there are tens of thousands of words in our Miro design doc, but pictures are best!
Steve is great at bashing out clear little storyboards for player and game interactions (action boards?) that help the team to figure out all the little wrinkles and opportunities they present us!
We've also got a bunch of concept art of various block types. Much like with all the other concept art we do, there's always a pure 'ideation' phase where a loose brief is given and we encourage playfulness to come up with anything. WELP this was not that - here we're trying to keep within 'definitely still made of dirt' ideas!
This was us figuring out ways to show the Goblin marking blocks with chalk as you find the Trinket during Chipping.
Some slightly more fanciful and intriguing blocks that might suggest fun behaviours to play with.
Can you name all these kinds of stone, dirt and rock? DO THEY EVEN REALLY EXIST?!
■Story Your love interest is Rion Suzumiya, a classmate with a reputation for being cool and intelligent. She usually keeps her distance from her classmates, but for some reason, she asks you out on a date! What secret does Rion have that will eventually be revealed?
■Main character:Suzumiya Rion Rion is a classy, serious, and studious high school girl! She is the most popular madonna in the school, and she is rapidly approaching you, with whom she has little contact! However, she sometimes looks lonely ....... When her secret is revealed, their love begins! 【Voice: Hikaru Ueda】 Some of Rion's lines are performed by popular voice actress Hikaru Ueda. Her cute voice adds color to the love story.
■Game system This is a simple visual novel game. Depending on the choices that appear here and there in the story, the distance between you and the heroine changes! The story branches off into one of five different endings accordingly. Restart the game again and again to complete all the endings!
It doesn't seem that long ago that I wrote the last anniversary post. Time can just fly when you're busy. Despite that, I unfortunately wasn't able to keep the anticipated release date of 2023 for the sequel to Angels with Scaly Wings.
I again could go into the reasons for why the game is taking so long due to the vastly increased scope compared to the first game, but I've already talked about that at length.
Skip the next few paragraphs if you want to go into the sequel with no prior knowledge (which I would recommend).
--Potential spoilers starting here--
Perhaps one tidbit I haven't mentioned before is that this time around, the main character will be working with a team of characters instead of mostly being on their own. What does this mean?
There will be a lot more scenes where multiple characters are present, and they will feature interactions between these characters.
Investigations are much more interesting this time around, and will typically involve at least one other character besides the player character.
The presence of one or more other characters during these scenes add a lot of complexity as they will be influenced by each character's moods and other factors.
Doing this when the game's final script will have roughly double the word count compared to the first game is adding a lot more work than we initially anticipated.
But we'll keep at it! And I think the end result will be more than worth it.
--Potential spoilers ending here--
I am definitely planning to show much more of the game throughout this year.
But to ease the wait a little bit, we have prepared something special for you.
Some years back, we created a mobile version of the game for android devices. Unfortunately, we never got the opportunity to publish it on the various mobile platforms, so we are adding the .apk file for this to Steam and itch.io.
So, anyone who has previously purchased Angels with Scaly Wings will be able to access and play this mobile version.
However, there is a downside to this. As we made this version some years ago, it is only updated to version 1.08. The latest patches, including the Japanese language overhaul and other added languages are not present here.
But we figured we should make this version available as we had no other way to release it at this point and it's just been sitting here collecting dust.
Quite some effort went into making the game work as nicely as possible on both phones and tablets, including gesture controls, and new settings to adjust text and cursor size.
On Steam, you should find the .apk file to install it on your android device in the game's install directory.
On itch.io, you should find the file available as separate download on the game's download page.

Spring has arrived in Britain which means it’s the final week of Series 70! This is your opportunity to secure the 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z in Forza Horizon 4, a car which celebrates the Camaro’s involvement in the International Race of Champions series, a one-make stock car series that put the focus on driver competition rather than car preparation.
Residing under this Camaro’s long, louvered hood is a 245 horsepower 5.7-liter V8, while thick anti-roll bars front and back help the Camaro achieve highly impressive skidpad numbers —around 0.90 lateral G-force.
Camaro fans can unlock the IROC-Z by earning 80% Completion for the overall series on the Festival Playlist, and experience performance that only this ultimate third generation Camaro can provide.
