Embarking on a virtual journey in the upcoming Nebraska DLC promises not just highways and byways but a scenic exploration of charming towns. Uncover hidden gems as you navigate the picturesque landscapes of the Cornhusker State. Let's take a look at some of the towns you will drive through on your way!
Alma, a picturesque town, sits nestled along the Republican River. It's a small town that greets players upon arrival from Kansas. It's home to the great Harlan County Lake and also some nice historic sites.
Ansley, another delightful destination, welcomes truckers with its small-town charm. Surrounded by the stunning Nebraska landscape, it offers a refreshing break from the open road. Ansley, like Basset, is on Route US-183 and that opens up an opportunity for us in the future to consider some other important roads in Nebraska.
Auburn, with its vibrant atmosphere, showcases the heartland spirit. As players roll through its streets, they'll encounter a blend of modern amenities and classic Midwestern warmth. You can find several colorful Honeybee sculptures there which is an unmissable landmark.
Explore the charm of Bartlett, a quaint town that invites truckers to wander its peaceful streets. With its small-town atmosphere, Bartlett offers a scenic break from the open road.
As you cruise through Bassett, revel in the beauty of its wide-open spaces and take a moment to appreciate the simplicity of rural life. This town, surrounded by the picturesque Nebraska landscape, promises a peaceful driving experience that encapsulates the heartland spirit.
Beatrice, a town with a rich history, invites players to discover its unique blend of the past and present. From historic architecture to modern buildings, Beatrice provides a delightful mix for those looking to immerse themselves in the region's diverse culture. We hope truckers will appreciate plenty of historic landmarks typical for this town, especially some of its beautiful churches.
When you go to Brownville, you can't miss the iconic scenic river views. Thanks to its close proximity to the Missouri River, truckers can travel there to take a look at the dredging boat. This settlement could also serve as one of the entrances to the state of Missouri in the future.
Nestled in the Sandhills along Nebraska's Highway 2, Hyannis boasts serene landscapes and occasional lakes, offering truckers a peaceful respite to enjoy the beauty and unwind from the highway.
As the Irish capital of Nebraska, O'Neill proudly showcases its Irish identity at every turn. Green shamrocks adorn the ground and walls, while signs and landmarks paying homage to Irish culture are abound, creating a distinctive and vibrant atmosphere as you drive through.
Ogallala, situated on the edge of the Sandhills, offers a unique blend of history and natural beauty. The nearby Lake McConaughy adds to the allure, creating a lovely setting that captures the essence of Ogallala's colorful past.
Red Cloud, the birthplace of renowned author Willa Cather, invites players to discover its literary heritage and explore the town that inspired some of Cather's most beloved works. Drive through the streets that echo with history and experience the connection between literature and the Nebraskan landscape.
Situated along the same route as Hyannis, Thedford bears the imprints of its fascinating past. Established as a crucial stop along the cattle-driving trail during the late 19th century, the town's roots are deeply intertwined with the Old West. Today, Thedford presents its Western heritage through well-preserved landmarks and remnants of structures that echo the town's pioneer spirit.
Lusk, Wyoming, joins the American Truck Simulator map as a crucial connecting point to Nebraska. This quaint town, set against Wyoming's picturesque backdrop, serves as a gateway between the two states. Explore Lusk's charm, from its small-town hospitality to the vast landscapes, as it becomes a notable addition to the Wyoming experience with the release of the Nebraska DLC.

Moominvalley is rife with parks, police officers… and friends! Snufkin will encounter familiar and beloved faces from Tove Jansson’s stories when he’s running through the forest, scaling mountain faces, and clambering through caves. The valley is vibrant and alive, dotted with unique and colorful characters who call the place home. Come and learn more about who will show up during your adventures as Snufkin!
Ninny
“Oh I thought you were Stinky!” ~ Ninny
On the beach, there’s a mysterious set of footprints. If you follow them as Snufkin, you’ll realize that the footprints end mysteriously - and then start magically appearing… as if created by an invisible person.
It’s Ninny, and she is indeed an invisible girl! She’ll request you to find items belonging to her, stolen by a certain irate troublemaker.
Fillyjonk
“Go away! The world outside has gone mad! We want nothing to do with it. Leave us to our peaceful existence, and our tidy garden paradise!” ~ Fillyjonk
Fillyjonk keeps a pristine yard and home, and is highly displeased when Snufkin comes knocking on her door - bringing ahem, unexpected visitors who wouldn’t leave him alone in the woods.
She desires to keep order and her children disciplined. Snufkin will have to come up with creative ways to get her out of the house for an important conversation. Hint: He’ll enact some quality mischief.
Toffle
“Is the entire world as scary as this? How do people cope?” ~ Toffle
On your journey, you might encounter a nervous person trapped on a tree’s branches and surrounded by bees. Snufkin’s melodic flute comes in handy for rescue situations like this.
Although Toffle is quite glum at first and anxious about finding their friend, Snufkin’s steady encouragement is the push he needs to begin the search for companionship again. Friendship is to be sought out after all! It rarely falls in one's lap, and it’s heartening to see Toffle approach the world and friend-making with renewed bravery.
Every corner of Moominvalley has a new story to uncover, and there are more than 50 inhabitants to encounter in our cozy adventure game! As you travel to new areas on the map, you’ll not only see beautiful vistas, but also solve different puzzles related to valley residents. Bountiful inspiration, blossoming connections, and playful interactions with each character are waiting for you in the valley.
Minor update coming up! Let’s check out what we’ve got cooking:
FrostyFest Event End
FrostyFest has wrapped up, but if you've still got some candies kickin' around, you can bag your exclusive rewards in the shop. Don't let those candies go to waste.
Improved Bot Navigation
Thanks to player feedback, we’ve overhauled the bot navigation and behavior patterns on all maps. Expect more sliding, less being stuck, and more efficient play. As always we’re collecting feedback on our discord for further improvements.
Other Changes
- Hakone Temple will be the first match for new players - Preparation for additional language support - Preparation for workshop part 2 update - Download size optimisation
The Dawning Clocks of Time® Remake - spacefarergames
We are happy to announce that The Dawning Clocks of Time Remake Demo is now avaliable on Steam.
This is just a small preview of the introduction segment of the game, where Sven appears on Earth in the 1950’s. You’ll be able to try out the controls, enter a few battles and explore the areas of Maine and see some of the story. The demo ends when you reach the Alpha Centauri System.
Note that the voice acting is not present in this demo but will be updated in the future once the voice work is complete.
As you explore the sandy shores of Myrtana, watch out! Here, besides the usual lizards, you might run into fire lizards as well! Their crests glow with a red-bloody color, and their mouths spew terrible flames! These creatures are really risky! Even orcs avoid them, and not for no reason! After all, one of the ingredients for Ulu-Mulu is their tongue!
Be careful when encountering these fire beasts in the Orc lands and on the beach near the mysterious Fog Tower. For your own safety, don't forget to wear some kind of artifact that will protect you from the scorching flames! That way, dealing with them will be much easier. Otherwise, it's not just a HOT battle waiting for you, but a battle with the burning smell...
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the Emperor Update in time for January. Currently, it looks like it will take about two more weeks until it's ready. I'm sorry about this delay and hope you can wait a bit longer for the final content.
Here are some more sneak peeks (Spoilers):
With best regards GreenGuy
PS: Sorry, pauljwright1. I couldn't finish it in time for your birthday.
