Update 2.0 - Patch Notes
Major fixes:
  • Soldiers now die/desert only once, and multiple soldiers dying/deserting/leveling up at the same time are handled properly
  • Research/upgrades (such as research for the Kitchen Car and soldier carry capacity) and crafting recipes (such as dismantling Artillery Shell Supplies) are now applied properly
  • Resource gathering reports (at lakes, villages, etc.), quests (Mysterious Family), missions (Novonikolaevsk, Bajkalovo), and train stops are now properly accessible
  • Soldier skills (Sprint, Camouflage) and traits (Ghost) now apply their effect correctly
  • Achievements (Nobody Left Behind, The Real MVP, Druzhina, Historically Accurate, Finally Some Good Fricking Food, Slow and Steady) now trigger correctly
Balancing changes:
  • The initial segments of the journey are now less punishing
  • Soldiers who are downed inside the Exit Area can now be taken back to the train if at least one other soldier from the squad exits correctly
  • Enemy behavior can now be made more aggressive by adjusting the ranges for Information Sharing, Proximity Awareness, and Loud Noise perception via the Mission Modifiers in the Options Menu
  • Soldiers now lose silent mode only if they have been directly shot at
Guides:
  • Added a Train Depot guide with information about all train cars you can obtain
  • Skill tooltips now mention actions that interrupt the skill (such as move commands interrupting the Medic’s Heal skill) or are forbidden by it (such as Machine Gunners being unable to move while having deployed their Focused Fire skill)
Other fixes and polishes:
Note: while mission-specific issues were fixed, we recommend that you replay such missions from the beginning and do not use in-mission save where you experienced the problem.
  • Version number is now available in the Main Menu and Pause Menu
  • Baikalovo now succeeds after all main objectives have been completed
  • Loading a save now handles dead enemies correctly
  • Numerous other fixes and polishes for performance, stability, gameplay, and audiovisuals

Hello Survivors! 🧟

Welcome to our Second Dev Update! This time, we want to show you what we have been working on since our last post.

Bow
Our developers succeeded in adding a bow mechanic. Now, the players can freely use the bow and hunt the animals.


Headshots
Now, when shooting with guns, you may get additional damage points when headshooting a zombie. To do that, you need to aim with your shooting indicator at the zombie’s chest.


Fast travel
The player will be able to craft a bonfire, take it from the inventory and place it somewhere on the map, enabling fast travel to the Camps.



Other cosmetic addition
  • added a direction indicator when following a quest
  • pin pad mechanics for Turn the Radio quest
  • fixed some of the roofs


Implementing a PVP mode into the game was a very challenging but important part of our work. It is still difficult to confirm, but we are considering increasing the player cap in the server, however, this feature would require a lot of work and time, so it remains under consultation.

Hello Managers! 👋

We’re happy to see all of you in another devlog from Disco Simulator. 💃 To start things up, we’d love to share some great news with all of you. Our game has entered the final stage of production 🔥 and because of that, we’ve been spending a lot of our time on fixing any bugs we’ve found as well as introducing and improving quality of life aspects the game has to offer. 👍

What’s more, we’ve introduced some features that you- our community suggested! Let’s take a closer look at them, shall we? 👀

Automatic assignment of employees to the incidents 📝
You’ve been mentioning that having to manually assign the employees each time there is something happening is annoying so we’ve come up and introduced the solution! We hope that the game will be more satisfying with this improvement! 🙂

LED walls, more colors of the furniture 🎨
You’ve been pointing out that there are not enough customization elements in the game. We’ve added LED walls and more colors to make the first step in changing that!

Animated dancefloors, lights and particles
To make your clubs more dynamic, you’ve been suggesting that there should be more animated objects in them. We totally agree and today we can show you the fruits of our work in that aspect!



Save system
We’ve taken a closer look and fully introduced the save system to help you during your playthroughs.

DJ Minigame 🎶
The last novelty we’d like to show you is the DJ Mingame. It’s a pretty cool and straightforward minigame where you have to put together matching soundtracks. 🎵

Welcome to the new devlog straight from the hollow lands! Today, we’ve got a lot of things to talk about. Some of which are topics frequently mentioned by a lot of you on different occasions! Without further ado, let’s take a look! 🔎

Card Archive 📓
It’s one of the most frequently asked for features. From now on, you’ll be able to take a look at the cards you’ve picked during the run. This will undoubtedly help you to craft your builds! 🙂


Translations
We’ve translated the game to 12 different languages! This is a shout out to all the members of our community who would like to play in languages other than English.


New weapon- Scythe
This weapon is a real treat for all of you who’d like to feel like a true grim reaper. ⚰️ The attack pattern consists of three hits in a combo. The first 2 are quite narrow and deal a medium amount of damage. The third though is a completely different matter. It’s a huge AOE attack- perfect way to finish off this combo and if you manage to position yourself correctly, you’ll deal a LOT of damage. 💪


Soul Essence 👻
This is a new in-game resource which has an important purpose- weapon upgrades. 🔨 Make sure you move quickly, because once the enemy is slain, his essence drops and you only have some time till it disappears completely!


Direction Hint ↗️
Some of you mentioned that you can get lost when you go and explore the floor after the end of the level. Now an arrow pointing out the direction of stairs will appear after finishing the fight so you can focus on exploration! 👍


Weapon pierce animations ⚔️
This is just a cool looking animation feature for each weapon while entering the portal. Just watch it yourself. It looks good, doesn’t it? 👀
