The intent of these post will be to inform the exact point of the development process we are. Like that, you can follow along the entire process and have a better idea that is about to come.
This weekly report will be a bit different from the others because it is the first after our demo version release.
DEMO - Follow up
The first gameplays of the demo version came in, and with it some bugs as well, as expected.
All of the major bugs pointed were fixed and some changes regarding the improvement of Gamer Experience were made.
For now, the demo is frozen, until we get significant changes on something that involves the first map (See next session), or, of course, some bug is found.

Game dev progress
Now we are working on boss fights and starting to create the next maps. A new phase is starting for Veil of Shadows.
Starting from the next Report, I'll add the bullets again, this week we are wrapping up some stuff from the demo, press kit, some press contact, you know, a bit of marketing....you can help with that as well...lol!
This update adds some experimental features aimed at fun, which will cause the game to be slightly less balanced. These experimental features will last for about 3 weeks, after which we will decide whether to retain these features based on your feedback and statistics.
Time
This update will be carried out at 8:00 am on February 1, 2024, UTC time. At that time, the server will undergo update maintenance for about 120 minutes.
Three experimental features
Random Free Units
During a game, players will encounter several opportunities to obtain units for free. Get 5 squads of Sledgehammer, or 3 Wraith, or 1 level 7 Rhino for free? Players will encounter many such difficult choices. To ensure that the game doesn't end too quickly, the player's base health has been increased by 500. If this feature proves popular, we will introduce rare units through this feature in the future.
Duplicate Reinforcement Cards
Many reinforcement cards now appear multiple times in the game. 2 Laser Sights? 4 Ranged Specialists? 3 Nukes? It's possible.
Changing Deployment Zone
The deployment zone for the first round will now be slightly smaller than before. We hope this will improve the first round layout diversity of certain MRR ranges.
Balance Adjustments
Melting Point
The production interval of the Tech [Crawler Production] has been adjusted from 30 seconds to 32 seconds.
Scorpion
HP increased from 19677 to 20661 Attack increased from 10305 to 10821
Equipment
[Enhancement Module] adjusted from level 2 to level 3 The effect of [Absorption Module] is adjusted as follows: Increases the equipped unit’s HP by 30%, and converts 90% of the damage dealt to HP.
Hi everyone! Patch 1.0.19f1 is ready for you. As always, please note that simulation fixes are expected to take a little while to properly take effect, so the game will need to run for a while. Similarly, fixes to buildings may need the buildings to be rebuilt.
If you experience any new issues or still have trouble with something that's been fixed, we'd appreciate a bug report on the forum with the save and Player.log (found here: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II) attached. It helps us pinpoint the cause, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to report issues you come across.

Statistics panel menu items remember their expanded state based on selected stats upon re-opening the statistics panel.
Changed Income and (hidden) TaxableIncome statistic type from Point to Daily (shows the cumulative amount for the past day)
Hide Households in Selected Info Panel and Household sidebar until they move in.
Added an extra data point outside the visible range, and used it to interpolate the position of the first point in the chart, thus avoiding gaps and visual stutters (fixes half of the chart being used only)
Make datapoints clamp to chart area(avoid line extending outside chart)
Deleted Budget group since it is not needed, and moved Income and Expense groups directly in Finances category
Hid money statistic from panel when playing with Unlimited Money option

- Land value improvements
Land value will be affected by ground pollution. The ground pollution will first slowly reduce the land value increasing, and when the pollution gets worse it will start to decrease the land value.
Land value won't decrease to 0 even with heavily polluted land.
Land value will increase according to the industrial company's profitability value.
Performance
Added SchoolSeekerCooldown to avoid too many pathfinding queries when the city doesn't have enough schools
Improved shadow culling optimization
Faster and more stable simulation speed in very large cities

Added snow on impostors (trees)
Changed outline color and fill color of districts for better visibility.
Changed the color of Mailbox- and Bus Stop markers. Changed the bus stop, Busline and Routetool icon colors to correspond new marker colors. Adjusted the district area colors for better visibility in bright snow
Tweaked road/rail shadows to be less aggressive
Fixed bus shelter icon color and default bus line color to be consistent with other bus line icons
Fixed visibility distance calculation bug (Mostly affecting power cable shadows with certain camera angles)
Fixed the texture of the Nuclear Power Plant's concrete floor can extend beyond the building into a conical shape

"MGCM Combat Edition", a derivative fighting game in which you can battle with attractive characters, magical girls, and demons from "New Generation Urban Pop Magical Girl RPG 'I Am Magicami' ", has a new DLC character. Isana Hakari (Kamisaman) will be added soon. We will release the command list and character introduction trailer.
This character is known for its highly flexible attacks, such as directly controlling the possibilities of the dresses and teleporting her prosthetic body. Although you may attack comfortably, it is very difficult to fight back when you are criticized, so be careful when operating the system.
This is an implementation to move to in-app purchases. This update does not yet impact functionality. This update does not include the Demo version. In the future, it will be basically free, and you can remove the watermark with an in-app purchase.
