Hearts = AMMO?!
Yes. Yes, they do. For throwables, at least.
You’ll need as many hearts as you can collect if you wanna use your Subweapons! The more hearts you gather, the more you can throw your Subweapon!
Even if you may THINK you have more than enough, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to whiplash every candle or flame you come across to gain those extra throwables!
Check back for even more!

Last week, I shared a first look at the upcoming free content update of Destroy The Monoliths. Today, I'm very happy to announce that this update will release on Steam on January 29th at 7 PM CET / 1 PM EST! This is very soon!
I'm really excited about this update, I think it adds a lot of fun and novelty to the game. I can't wait to see players give it a try!
Also, there will be a week long deal at the time of the release! So from January 29th to February 5th, you will be able to purchase the game with a 20% discount!
Another look at the new content
For the New Year, I released the screenshot below to tease some of the new content. Today, let's break it down!
This new map is called Dump and has a grid shape. You probably recognize scrap blocks already present in Scrap Valley that may spawn minions. Dump has no ore blocks, but contains instead Recycled blocks that give random resources. The mining in this map will be a bit more chaotic as you will never be really sure of what you will get. Unless you have the Market building of course, because you can then exchange resources to get want you want.
The new weapon (see the icon in top left) is the Explosive beam. It works quite similarly to the laser beam but has area damage. With a couple relic upgrades, it has the potential to be quite powerful! The new building on the left is the corresponding offensive turret that shoots Explosive beams.
Previously, we could mess with enemies movement by attracting or repulsing them. The update will add another option! The new building on the right is indeed a support building that can teleport enemies to the nearest anchor. You can thus redirect all the enemies from different parts of the maps to the same heavily guarded fortress!
See you soon for the update!
I'll see you next Monday for the release. I will also give you more details about the extent of the update in the release post. I hope you enjoyed what I have teased so far and are excited to play the new content!

Milords and Miladies! We're getting closer and closer to the demo, every week. As it’s getting ready, our team has been working to perfect the realm, from well-behaved guards to new systems to make it a more realistic experience for you. We would like you to witness some of the improvements and changes we made to the game.
Take a deep breath!
Guardians being told that they breathe way too deep and it's scaring petitioners. The guardians insist it’s for the lord/lady’s protection, but they have been warned against it. They took criticism in stride, so, guardians will remain their duties with cleaner character idle animations, keeping the court safe until the grand opening.
In the early years of the Milord’s realm, guards were too hyperventilated, worrying their rulers. They’ve been training on diaphragmatic breathing so; the new rulers can be relaxed that their guards will be more than capable for the upcoming demo.
New character with its whole glory. The herald is yelling in the halls of the court: “A MAN WITH A BROWN HAT is here! A man with a brown hat is here, dear Milord. Shall we let him in? We shouldn’t keep him out in the cold in this snowy weather.
Ruler's Diary
Our rulers kept forgetting where they left off on the story. Thanks to the invention of the handy dandy “save system”, rulers can save their progress and pick up where they left off. It's not a random usual save system. Customizing the save name, seeing all the vital information and adding a little picture of their court... all is possible. What? Pictures weren't invented back then? Shh, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Rulers are feeling grateful for the invention; it allowed them to make it easier than ever to pass down their stories through generations and be remembered by history.
How to Run your Kingdom vol1 1st Edition.
Are you having a problem ruling your Kingdom? All your subjects hate you? If so, you are not alone. It's one of the biggest problems of The Dark Ages. But fear not, today there is a solution to your woes -the tutorial system-. With the brand-new tutorial system, you'll know how to rule your kingdom faster. In the tutorial, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to lead your kingdom into a new era of prosperity as an experienced ruler.
Also, the days of straining our voices and repeating "You're a lord of a kingdom" over and over again is gone. In the expos, now we can confidently showcase our game and let the tutorial do the job. So, the next time you see us at a game expo, don't hesitate to give "Milord" a try and we will be there as the strategy advisers, dear milord/milady!
A requestline with many and many picks. It might seem like not much but there are so many ways you can do a single unimportant request. Which we call these requests a requestline.
New Court New Adventures
iBright Games has an official court! Our court is more than an office space. From the windows, you can see the busy city below and the iconic Galata Tower, standing as legendary as ever. Within these walls, our team will come together to elevate Milord to new heights. It will surely inspire us to make great improvements and games in the future. Additionally, we are grateful to the BUGLab TEKMER aka. our pathfinders, for their invaluable support and guidance in helping us with this process, we wouldn't have made it this far without them.
We hope you enjoyed reading them, as we enjoyed implementing them. And here comes the question: Where is the demo? Well, the demo went fishing and it'll be back when ready. Jokes aside, we are continuously improving and thinking about new ideas to provide you the best experience & story before releasing it to broader audience. Believe us, it'll worth the wait, Milord/Milady! Hope to see you again in our next DevLog!
Welcome to another Winter Survival development update. In the previous episode we’ve delved really deep into some of the more advanced mechanics that you will encounter during your gameplay. Also, I’d like to remind you that our brand-new demo is coming on January 29th, 2024! If you feel like you need some more information about the advanced mechanics or demo, feel free to check two previous announcements. 💥
So, what do I have for you today? In this devlog I’m gonna tell you everything you need to know about possible starting scenarios in the game and how you can tailor your gameplay experience according to your needs. Ready to embark on a journey together? Grab your favorite drink, have some snacks, and let’s roll! 🔥
How do these scenarios work?
Let’s start from the very beginning – every game starts with you choosing your starting scenario and tailoring everything according to how you would like to begin. If you’re looking for a challenge you might want to pick the late evening time with barely any equipment, heavy blizzard and the bear patrolling the surrounding area.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for a casual start to the game, you might prefer to choose an early, sunny morning, with the proper equipment and shelter already built right in front of you. In other words – it doesn't matter if you’re an expert survivalist or a total rookie in this field – everyone will be able to find something for themselves.
One thing to keep in mind here is that every single scenario has some sort of quest to complete at the beginning. Think of it as a short story mode set within the endless mode itself. For instance one scenario might be all about curing the disease and the other simply has you sneaking by the bear. I don’t want to spoil too much, so you will have to try it out for yourselves once the game enters Early Access on February 28th, 2024.
Please keep in mind that for the demo purposes you’ll be able to choose only once starting scenario. The others will unlock as you’ll get your hands-on Early Access version.
Enjoy our brand-new series "Two Minutes with Devs"

Stay up-to-date 📰
And we’ve come to the end. Let me know how you like the idea of choosing your own scenarios in the comments down below. And while I caught your attention I’d like to once again remind you that in just 4 days you will be able to jump straight into the winter land where predators are just a few of possible dangers that await you in Winter Survival. If you’re dying to know more about the game, consider adding it to your wishlist 🙇
