Only 1 more milestone to go to improve some of the risk vs reward game essence in VS mode! I’ve already started by changing the “parking lot” in VS to waves as well to keep a limited number of targets.

It's been quite a journey getting here and we are proud of how far we've come as such a small team. We have so many great ideas for the future, and we are excited to see what the community at large has in mind too!
In the meantime though, we want to get some of the quality-of-life updates out of the way to make the base game more enjoyable. Here's a small list of some of the more immediate updates we are already working on:

More optimizations, especially to load times, focused on enabling larger maps and even more complexity
Fleshing out the smaller branches of the tech tree, we have 3-4 more levels immediately in the works, not including plans for a much larger tech tree expansion in the future

1) Bug Fixes: • Fixed bug causing creating a playlist to fail when including the built in songs "Dance" or "Sky". • Fixed bug causing players to have to sign in to YUR every time they opened the game. • Fixed bug causing retrieving settings to sometimes break due to corrupted data. • Added an internal "Legacy" configuration for beat maps to fix a bug causing an error to be thrown when retrieving some custom songs. • Improved handling of errors when downloading songs fails. 1. New Role Experience System
The new version adds a character experience system. Simply put, players who use their characters in the game to engage in a series of game behaviors will be recorded and calculated as character experience at the end of the game settlement. As experience increases, the character's ability level will gradually increase, unlocking corresponding level abilities. The next time a player chooses this profession to enter the game, it will increase character attributes or initial items.
It should be noted that when there are still remaining resurrection attempts to exit the game early, there will be a lack of calculation of the character's winning or losing experience, and characters that have completely died will not exit. Please make sure to continue the game to the end!
In the game hall, click on "Character" to enter and view the character levels and corresponding abilities of all characters at the current level.
After selecting a character to play the game, players will receive the character experience of that character during settlement.
When selecting a character in the room, the character level can be displayed to all players in the room.
2. Quick message prompt
In the new version, quick message communication has been added, allowing players to communicate without meeting and prompting other players to take the next action. Of course, be careful, as players from other factions can also use quick messages to mislead. In addition, the vampire camp has additional phrase prompts compared to the regular player camp, which can only be seen by the vampire camp. Vampire players can communicate in situations where it is inconvenient to directly open the microphone. Sending too many shortcut phrases in a short period of time will disable the function for a period of time. Please communicate friendly!
Add shortcut phrase sending function, players can use the left 【 ALT 】 (customizable) to call up shortcut phrases, and click the left mouse button to confirm sending.
3. Hall redesign
A redesign has been made for the game hall, adding multiple perspectives that can be switched using the mouse scroll wheel!
4. Increase damage number display
For the convenience of players in choosing strategies during battles, increase the display of damage numbers!
5. Camp related changes
Mage's orb no longer deals damage to evil factions The spell ball attacks of Ghost Mages and Blood Mages will no longer cause damage to NPCs and players in the Evil faction.

1.Opened Diplomacy Version 1.0, introducing diplomatic features for 2v2 and 4v4 modes. Through diplomacy, players can now request resources from allies and mark attack and defense routes. 2.Added a teammate chat function in-game, allowing for text chat in 2v2 and 4v4 modes. The chat box can be accessed using the Enter key, facilitating communication during battles. 3.Added a fullscreen mode option. For users with unconventional resolutions who are unable to switch from windowed mode back to fullscreen mode, they can now directly return to fullscreen mode through this setting. 4.Fixed a geographical error by swapping the locations of the Jiangzhou and Brazil cities. 5.Introduced a new Fortress Construction technology, comprehensively enhancing city defense capabilities. Originally planned as a separate system, considering the already significant amount of gameplay in the current version, it was decided to simplify the gameplay and operations, thus releasing it as a branch of technology. 6.Added a new policy: "Unbreakable." The number of technology points and copper coins consumed for researching Fortress Construction technology is reduced by half. 7.Added TIPS descriptions to the top right corner for faction comparisons. 8.Added TIPS descriptions to menu buttons.
Bug Fixes:
1.Fixed a bug where allies stationed in a city affected by Decisive Battle radiation were not processed, causing units to become stuck in that city. 2.Fixed a bug where frequent city switching and troop replenishment could result in a prompt indicating full troop capacity despite no actual troop formation. 3.Implemented special handling for potential issues with the captive interface not popping up, ensuring it can always be accessed. 4.Fixed a bug that could potentially prevent the game from ending. 5.Attempted to optimize the lagging issues experienced in the later stages of the game on macOS. 6.Fixed a bug where clicking to observe a battle could cause the game to freeze.
Balance Adjustments:
1. the passive skill "Self-Destruct" from the five generals Hua Xiong, Gao Lan, Yuan Shao, Xu Huang, and Han Dang, replacing it with "Consecutive Strike." 2.Substantially reduced the durability and attack power added to cities by archer towers. 3.Increasing city scale no longer increases durability. 4.Increased the base production of money and food in cities and improved the bonus to production from city scale. The production bonus for the main city is now higher than that of branch cities.
