Trinity Fusion - Craig
Hello, hitchhiker.

It's been just over a month since Trinity Fusion's 1.0 release on Steam, and we're back at work after the holiday break plugging away at new content, as well as working through your feedback and bug reports.

Today's update is the first in a series of updates we'll be making while we work on the game's first proper content expansion. But we'll get to that later. For now, PARRIES.



A common request throughout the game's development was to add some defensive abilities. So, since we're not a fan of the player running around with a shield, we're adding a Parry system to the game, allowing players to deflect or reflect incoming attacks, provided that their timing is on-point.

Parry System
The Parry is now available as an equippable Psychic Augment. A skill-based defensive option, parries can reflect projectiles back at the enemy that casted them and send melee enemies reeling, instantly putting them into a stun state.

When equipped, just tap the 'Interact' button the moment before an attack hits you to parry it. Successful parries can be instantly canceled out of, including into more parries! Try it out on rapid projectile attacks like Steward One's metal plates. Just don't miss the timng :)

Spectral Scanner
Another new Augment, the Spectral Scanner can be used to scan for and highlight nearby secret areas at a small energy cost.



Bug Fixes:
  • The achievement “Amplifier Overload” now correctly unlocks after equipping 5 powerups, matching the description. Previously it required 6.
  • It’s no longer possible to get save files softlocked by quitting the game during the “confrontation” cutscene.
Amps
  • Stun Spreader - Now stuns enemies instead of staggers them.
  • Guard Breaker - Now inflicts guaranteed crits on stunned enemies.

Hey folks!

This patch addresses several more issues.

- fixed enemies not looking at POI positions when they should have
- fixed a crash related to disrupting enemy flashlights and resetting to the previous savefile

Hi everyone!

Not too long back we released the demo for Happy Hour Hero - well, we've kept plugging away at improving the experience, and we've just updated the demo ahead of some sort of 'festival' for the 'next' indie titles... - We'd love for anyone interested to give it a go..! The update includes:

Unlimited play of the casual gamemode, with both 'Easy' and 'Normal' difficulty curves.

French/Italian/German/Spanish localisations.

A slew of QoL enhancements and minor bug fixes.

HHH is all about 'flow' and finding your zen state. You're able to put that to use in Casual, Normal, and Hardcore modes - as well as take a break from the job in Darts and Bowling minigames.

We're super excited for the release in a few weeks..!

I hope you're all doing well on this fine weekend!

We're here today to discuss the situation of the original House Flipper, as I'm pretty sure many of you are aware that the release of House Flipper 2 doesn't mean that we're halting the support for HF1.
Let's do a little dev diary, similar to the one I posted last week regarding House Flipper 2, and check out what's currently happening, and what's the future of the House Flipper franchise!



🚧 The current situation


For the majority of 2023, we've been focused purely on making sure House Flipper 2 arrives on time. We managed to do that and we're extremely glad and excited, but we understand that with the gaming experience changes that House Flipper 2 brought, some of you still prefer the first part, and that's something we're taking into consideration regarding planning our future development efforts.

First of all, we're aware the game is not completely bug-free, and we'll be doing our best to target those pesky bugs in future free updates... let's talk about that!



🔮 The future


Yup, free updates, you heard that right! We recently managed to build a little plan regarding adding more content to House Flipper!
At the moment we don't want to throw any dates or timeframes at you, as we're still evaluating the amount of work ahead of us, but for now, there are at least 2 free major content updates planned for House Flipper. As I mentioned, these updates will also bring a bunch of fixes, but some separate small hotfixes are also something we'll be going for. We will keep you updated on those, so make sure to keep an eye out for some sneak peeks!

Now, that might possibly surprise some of you, but the release of House Flipper 2 also doesn't mean the end of DLCs for House Flipper! I can't really tell you too much today, but I can show you a bit! 👀









Spicy! I'm sure you can already guess the theme, but let me know your thoughts about what this DLC might be! Any creative ideas are also very welcome in the comments below!

It's worth mentioning, that when it comes to the further development of House Flipper, our friends at Petard Games are now cooperating with our team! They're also getting very close to the release of their long-awaited project called Hairdresser Simulator!

This update is a bit on the larger side since I changed the video you see in the main menu. The video is now more up-to-date with the current gameplay!

Additional changes made:
- Corrected the damage numbers, now the damage stats of tower should be accurate
- Enabled option to skip and re enable the tutorial if desired
- Fixed handbook mistake in item recipes section
- Added some more info to the handbook
- Made the tutorial a bit more clear now
- Added naming to the progression trees (crystal only branches)
- Added 3 new leaderboards: Biggest tower damage, highest DOT stack, highest single hit damage
- Boxing glove now also saves stats when the game is saved
- Removed the ability to reload the game in order to power game the item rolls
- Fixed the meteor strike item
- Fixed the executioner item, now it will also display the "executed" text when an enemy gets executed
