The save game compatibility feature introduced in Football Manager 2024 allows players to transfer careers from one version of FM to another.

It’s been a welcome addition for a lot of players, with many continuing long-term journeys that they started more than a year ago in Football Manager 2023.

With this feature also confirmed in next year’s Football Manager 2025 release, FM Grasshopper is here to present you with six ‘evergreen’ save challenges that will keep you occupied for some time to come.

We've got another big update this week: The map editor!

This is a basic version of the final product.
At the moment you can place blocks from a menu together with friends you bring in with you.
Rotate blocks with the left stick and push block away or bring them closer with the right stick.
You can also delete blocks and change the skybox.

In the future we'll also add custom game modes to go with your custom maps and also a maps brower so you can play and rate other people's maps.

Hi all! This is a quick one and a mild bummer, but a few senior team members have been dealing with some unforeseen life circumstances in the critical last moments of our intended release schedule. Don't worry about us - it's nothing scary - but it's meant that we've missed out on some crucial opportunities to polish The Hamster's Journey as much as we'd have liked, and so we have made the decision to give ourselves a few extra weeks.

The game is very nearly 'done' as it stands, but we haven't had the chance to make it play as nicely as we'd like. This will give us the chance to smooth out some rough edges, and since we only get one first impression, we've decided it's worth it.

The new release we're shooting for is early February, and soon that should be reflected in the posted release date here on Steam. We at Rain Jam would like to thank everyone for your interest in our game, and especially those who preordered it at PAX. We can't wait for you to play it!

New this month:
Starting with January Nova Cup 2024 following new rules will apply:

• Division 2 will now also be drafted from the top 8 teams in addition to Division 1. The rest of the divisions (3-5) will continue to be seeded as before.
  
• Conquest (Division 1 & 2 rule) will now apply to the whole team instead of just the individual player. For example, if you win a game where your ally picked Greed and you picked Yolo, both of you will not be able to pick Greed or Yolo next game. The restriction only applies to the winning players. If you lose with Yolo, you can still pick Yolo next game.

The upcoming January Nova Cup takes place January 27 - 28.

Participation prize: Every participant who plays all of their matches will receive a FREE random card. If you haven't played a tournament yet, this is a great time to join.

When you watch Nova Cups on the official channel, aside from enjoying shoutcasted top-tier Legion gameplay, you'll also receive in-game rewards based on how long you watch!

Watch the official Legion TD 2 Twitch stream during a Nova Cup to earn the following rewards:
- Watch for 60 minutes: 2,000 essence
- Watch for an additional 90 minutes: 4,000 additional essence
- Watch for an additional 120 minutes: Random card

In other words, if you watch the Nova Cup both days, you'll earn 6,000 total essence and a random card!

IMPORTANT: You'll need to link your Twitch account to your Legion TD 2 account in order to earn the rewards.

• Sign-ups are open from NOW until January 27 9am PST / 6pm CET.
  
• To sign up, find a teammate and form a party. After you're both in the party, have one player type "/signup [team name]" (e.g. /signup Snail Kings) in chat. You should see a confirmation message that your sign-up went through. For those who participated in previous Nova Cups, you no longer need to do /join to signup.
  
• The first 16 teams to sign up in each division can participate. For division 1 and 2 the top 8 teams are drafted per division. Other teams are waitlisted. There are usually no-shows, so waitlisted teams are encouraged to be present in the Discord and ready to play. {LINK REMOVED}View the team list to see your sign-up position and division.
  
• If there are more than 32 teams checked in, there will be an additional best-of-1 qualifying round to allow more teams to participate. It is a best-of-1, rather than a best-of-3, to keep the event from running overly long.
  
• Both players must join the Legion TD 2 Official Tournament Discord. Make sure to set your server nickname to match your in-game name.

• You may sign-up as a solo with a suggested team name using the "/signup [team name]" command. Solo teams will be added to the Public Teams list, then be formed into teams on the day of the tournament. Solo teams will be randomly assigned a team name from either of its members.
  
• If there is a waitlist, team sign-ups will always take priority over solo sign-ups
  
• If you sign up as a solo, but then you find a teammate, you can re-sign up as a team any time before check-ins start. Just use the /signup command again with the new teammate. The tournament organizer will void your old solo signup after they process your new team signup.
  
• After check-ins are over, all checked-in solo players will be randomly formed into teams by the tournament organizer. You cannot request a specific teammate at this point; if you want to play with a specific person, you should have signed up as a team instead.

It is still strongly recommended to sign-up as a team to guarantee your spot in the tournament and to give you time to practice with your teammate beforehand.

What can you expect from Citadelum?

Build a city worthy of Rome and its gods, starting from nothing. Look for fertile land, gather resources and create production chains to make all kinds of goods, from bread to wine and equipment for your legions. You’ll have to fulfill the needs of the citizens to see the city prosper from meager shacks to beautiful villas.

Ensure the access to water by building aqueducts and wells. It will keep your citizens healthy, your crops more productive and also help stop the spread of fires.



Happiness is important to attract new inhabitants to your settlement. Decorate the city to increase desirability, hold gladiator fights in the coliseum and provide enough entertainment to keep people from getting restless. Panem et circenses!

Crime can be a problem if your citizens are unhappy, but also bandits and barbarians can use the cover of night to create chaos and plunder your resources. Build defenses and train guards to keep your city safe.



Send exploratores to discover the world map. Find new cities to trade exotic resources and scale up your economy. Unearth ancient relics straight from classical Roman myths to please the Gods or gain powerful bonuses.

Barbarian hordes roaming these lands will threaten your advance. Train mighty legions and fight them in autobattle combat, to expand the reach of your city and the glory of Rome.



Honor the gods by building temples and making offerings. Keep them happy and they’ll give you many blessings to make your city prosper, but anger them and suffer their wrath in the form of powerful calamities.

The gods won’t be constantly wandering around the streets, but they’ll come down to earth to deliver their gifts (or punishments) in spectacular fashion, filling the hearts of your mortal citizens with awe... or fear.

Wheel and Pedals are supported along with Force feedback & basic telemetry output for dashboards in v0.0.7 & above.

Setup
In order to receive force feedback you'll need to install the Logitech G Hub even if you're not using a Logitech wheel.

For some wheels the game will recognise you're using a wheel and set the input accordingly (this enables a direct input from the wheel to the vehicle steering - unlike the default smoothed values for controllers). If your wheel isn't detected you can force enable wheel mode in the Settings>Gameplay menu.

Mappings
Again, some wheels are detected and a basic map is applied, but it's best to enter the control mapper and set this up how you want it.

Two loot events will run from daily maintenance on January 19th until daily maintenance on January 22nd:

• St. Kitts 5 modules are available in the Admiralty, they can be exchanged for Broad Pennants that occasionally drop from 5th rates and higher
  
• Broad pennant will drop from military NPC ships
