Thanks so much for your awesome support on The Da Vinci Cryptex!

I've fixed a small issue on Level 15, the combination on the Cryptex wasn't right according to the riddle in the book 😉

-Fix: StackSize editing still wasn't working.
-New/Change: ZP now handed out for killing bosses and solving mysteryboxes.
-New/Change: Anxiety, Adrenaline, and Life are healed a tiny amount when sleeping.
-Fix: You can now type in what number you want for trading items to/from Shopkeeper/Traders.
-Broken!!: Banks do not seem to retain player money. I do not why this is.
You'll have to buy copper/silver/gold/platinum tokens and store them in your
private storage or inventory until this issue is figured out.
-Broken!!: Skills on the skillbar seem to disappear at some point.
Only way to get them back is to restart the game application itself.
Keep in mind sometimes skills can't be used because you are out of MP.

We hope this message finds you well. With the imminent launch of Battle Teams 2 Global version, we understand that many of our Mainland China players have questions and concerns. We appreciate your passion and engagement with the game, and we want to take a moment to address some of your most common queries.


Mainland China version - the version of the game currently operated exclusively in Mainland China. Released June 2022.

Mainland China players - players who fulfill exactly one of the following conditions:
- Steam users who play the Mainland China version.
- Steam users do not currently play the Mainland China version and whose accounts are registered in Mainland China.

Global version - the version of the game scheduled for release in all world regions except Mainland China on February 1 2024 (PST).

Global players - players with Steam accounts registered in all territories except Mainland China.

Global Playtest - a technical playtest operated for the Global version only, in advance of full release. Mainland China players cannot join this event without switching to the Global version. Details below.


We have deployed several regional servers for the Global version to provide players with a better combat experience. Servers for the Global version are completely independent from those operated for the Chinese version. This means that player data between the two versions will be completely independent and not interchangeable. Players running the Global version cannot connect to Mainland China servers and vice versa.

The content of the Mainland China version and the Global version is not consistent. They operate separate content. Details to follow in future announcements.

For example, in this Global Playtest version, progress in "Infestation" is available only up to "City of Calamity - Heroic Difficulty."


- Mainland China players switching to the Global version -

If you are already playing the Mainland China version and want to switch to the Global version, you should first confirm that your Steam account is registered outside Mainland China. Then remove the Mainland China version from your Library and add the Global version to complete the switch. ✨Please note that it's crucial to remove the Mainland China version from your Steam library; simply uninstalling the game won't suffice.


✨ Important Note 1: Due to server rules, the same Steam account can only operate one game version. This rule will be officially implemented after the full release of the Global version. Account region adjustments will take effect immediately after this and cannot be reversed. Once your account switches from the Chinese server to the Global server, we cannot perform server switching operations for your account.

Please note that even if your account meets the criteria and you complete the switch to the Global version, you will thereafter no longer be able to use the same account to enter the Mainland China version.

✨ Important Note 2: Please note, if you switch your Mainland China account to the Global version through the above steps, although your character data will still be retained, your data from the Mainland China version will not be transferred to any character on the Global version.

- Global players switching to the Mainland China version -

✨We apologize for any inconvenience. Once your account activates the Global version, you won't be able to switch back to the Mainland China version through the aforementioned steps. We are unable to perform server-switching operations on your account.


- Mainland China Server -

Mainland China players will not be affected by the Global version launch. Players running the Mainland China version can still play together with other players on the Mainland China server as normal.

The Mainland China server and Global servers are not interoperable, and players cannot be matched.

- Global Server -

After launching the Global version of the game, you will enter the server selection interface. Based on your region and the displayed server ping values on the interface, please choose an appropriate server to enter the game for the best gaming experience. You can freely switch your server each time you enter the game, but we recommend selecting the server with the lowest ping values according to your network conditions for the optimal gaming experience.

✨Please note that a game account you create on one server cannot be used on others. For example, a game account created on a European/American server cannot be used on the Southeast Asian servers, and vice versa.

Considering the impact of ping values on gaming experience, Global players can only be matched with players in the same major region. For example, players on European and American servers can only be matched with other players on European and American servers and cannot be matched with players on Southeast Asian servers.

The rules of the Mainland China Server stipulate that Global servers cannot connect to the Mainland China Server.


- Veteran players -

Mainland China players will not be affected by the Global version launch and will still default to the Mainland China version. We will continue to operate the Mainland China version as normal. Players running the Mainland China version can still play together with other players on the Mainland China server as normal.

If your Steam account is registered in Mainland China, you will not be affected.

If your account is registered outside Mainland China, and you have been playing the Mainland China version, you can still run the Mainland China version normally and your account will not automatically switch to the Global version.

Only when you manually switch versions will your game version switch to the Global version. [For information on how to switch, please see Question 4]

- New players -

For new players joining after the official release of the Global version, which version you enter depends on the region of your account at the time of adding the game.

If your Steam account is registered in Mainland China, you will add the Mainland China version; if your account is registered outside Mainland China, you will add the Global version.

- 国服版本玩家切换至海外版本 -

对于已经在游玩《生死狙击2-国服》的玩家而言，若您想要转移战场至海外版本，首先需要确认您的Steam账号归属地为中国大陆以外的地区，再移除国服版本并重新入库海外版本即可完成切换。✨请注意必须将国服版本从您的Steam库中移除，仅卸载不会产生作用。

✨由于服务器规则的限制，同一个Steam账户仅能适用一个游戏版本。该规则将在海外版本上线后正式启用。在此之后对于账号归属的调整将即时生效，并且无法再被恢复。这意味着您的账户一旦自中国服务器切换至海外服务器，由于涉及Steam官方的账户归属地设置，我们无法再对您的账户进行服务器切换的操作。

因此请注意，即使您的账户符合条件，我们仍不建议您进行此操作!

✨一旦您的账户自中国服务器版本转移至海外版本，您将无法再使用同一账户进入中国服务器版本,请注意，若您通过上述步骤切换您的国服账户至海外版本，您在国服版本的数据将无法继承至海外版本的游戏角色上，但角色数据仍会在国服版本保留。

您在启动海外版本游戏后，将会进入服务器选择界面。您需要根据您所在的地区及界面上显示的地区服务器Ping值，选择一个合适的服务器进入游戏，以获得最好的游戏体验。您可以在每次进入游戏时自由切换您的服务器，但我们推荐您根据网络情况选择距离Ping值最低的服务器，以获得最好的游戏体验。

✨请注意，欧美服务器与东南亚服务器的数据并不相通，您在进入这两个服务器时将会创建完全独立的游戏角色，角色的账号数据互不相通。

- 新狙友 -

对于在海外版本正式发行后新加入的狙友而言，进入的是哪个版本将取决于游戏入库时的账户所属地。

若您的Steam账户所属地为中国大陆，您入库的将是国服版本；若您的账户所属地为中国大陆以外地区，您入库的将是海外版本。
