Hi, and welcome to the Steam community page Zoochosis, our new body cam horror game.

We are so thrilled to officially unveil our latest horror project, Zoochosis with the first ever trailer. Zoochosis has been a passion project for us here at Clapperheads and a game we have been wanting to make for a long time and hope that you like what you have seen so far.


As we started to develop the game, wanted to offer something different from the other horror games out there, so looked for a way to really up the tension you will feel while going about your first night shift as a newly employed zookeeper. We’re always on top of trends and decided that the use of bodycams would provide a whole new, spine-chilling perspective on the gameplay and enhance your experience while exploring the zoo under the cover of darkness.

We have so much more to share with you on Zoochosis and thank you for taking the time to check out the announcement trailer. We hope you join us on this development journey as we continue to develop this terrifying body cam horror experience.

Nyran Survivors - Decerto
Hello Mediators,

I hope you all are enjoying playing Nyran Survivors so far. I see a few videos online about it, really cool! It's really nice to hear from the players and watching them play (and fail!).

This patch aims to sort out some issues, let's get started.

Keybinds are here

There was no way to get around the hardcoded keybinds in Nyran Survivors. Well, not anymore. In the settings, see the new keybinds screen to change keybinds.

I got a few DM's about people wanting to change their keys from WASD or they couldn't play the game because they are using AZERTY keyboards. I hope this will help now.

Changes to item/spell rerolls

Before version 2, there was an unlimited amount of item and spell rerolls. This is fun and all but as we have leaderboards, this makes it less competitive. I see a few people who have over 500+ item rerolls (sus) which is unfair to those are a legitimately trying to rank.

It also helps to keep it competitive as you now only have 100 rerolls to compete on the board. With these changes, leaderboards have been adjusted and rankings with over 100 item/spell rerolls have been removed.

Changes to levels

Again, there was no cap on levels, the game just kept levelling you up so you can earn more and more items and spells. Not anymore. There is now a level limit of 100, however you can level past this but the rewards will only be healing or extra gold.

Upon reaching level 100, elites now have slightly more health.

With this change, leaderboard rankings that have more than 100 player levels have been removed.

  • Item and spell reroll now has a limit of 100 rerolls
  • Fixed a bug that caused item/spell rerolls to not take the proper amount of gold
  • Pancakes item added
  • Treasure Chest item added
  • Shield Wall spell now has an active effect
  • Shield Wall spell duration increased to 3s, up from 2.5s
  • Forced Vsync on whilst in main menu to help AMD users

Once Upon a Jester - Crunching Koalas
The Independent Game Festival competition awards winners in eight categories during GDC in March, and we're excited to be listed among the forerunners for the award.

The ceremony will be held on March 20th, during this year's edition of GDC (Game Developer Conference), from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM PST.

The Chronicle - MrArtStrong
Hey everyone,

I just released a new update for The Chronicle. These updates include a over all game size reduction to half it's previous size, I have done a ton of optimizing to the game, so it should run on much lower end machine now.

I also made a bunch of quality of life improvements and bugs fixes. I removed the angry chicken at the
log cabin, as he was causing some issues. If I can figure them out, I will add him back in.

Public Demo
As you may have heard last week, Once A Tale has an official demo that is publicly available to play on Steam! So if you want to get a taste of the enchanting world that we handcrafted, please download the demo and let us know what you think!

Streams and Giveaways
We told you in our last Steam update that we would be announcing a giveaway, so here is the plan:
We are going to host a few streams until the game is released and during those streams, there will be an opportunity to win a copy of Once A Tale. We can't tell you which one or how many, but there will be at least one!

Well, we can say with full confidence that... you did it again! 😁 You responded in great numbers, and thousands of you applied to our first Viking Frontiers Playtest. We are thrilled that our title has sparked so much interest in you all and that you want to try your hand at leading the newborn Viking society. Remember that the Jarl's burden is heavy, and the fate of your people will depend on your decisions and actions... however, let us get back to the point.

Thanks to our own observations and, above all, your awesome feedback, we were able to prepare the first Hotfix for the game (more of them will come soon!) ⚒️ If you want to find out what fixes, improvements, quality of life changes and corrections we have made, be sure to check out the Hotfix Notes down below 👇





What's new in the Hotfix? 🤓


• Incorporated a verification process to ensure that the task has not been previously completed
• Improved animations of Workstation
• Improved collision and interactivity of Workstations
• Added integrations with Steam. From now on, tabs will open in the Steam overlay, not in the browser
• Added a new UI panel for construction (build interaction)
• Added new key bind options (rotating construction previews)
• Added notification about the button to dump Large Resource
• Fixed the issue of falling to the bottom of the lake
• Improved balance of building schematics and construction elements
• Added an option to lock items in the Radial Menu panel so that they unlock as the tutorial progresses
• Added a button to unlock characters
• Added a number of new icons
• A number of bug fixes related to objects and collisions in the game
• A number of other minor bugs are now fixed
