1. Added an option in the Control Settings menu to disable the Collective from adjusting the target altitude of the Altitude Hold Autopilot. By default this is enabled for Joypads, but for HOTAS users with proper throttle control this option makes less sense as you have to centre the throttle which is hard to gauge.
Instead, users with throttle controls should disable this function and then bind buttons to the new options in the Control Bindings screen called "Altitude Hold Up" & "Altitude Hold Down" in the "Flight Controls" section. Pressing these buttons will increment the target altitude by 0.5m giving much better control.
2. Disabling Altitude Hold Autopilot while using relative collective controls will automatically set the collective to the same value being used by the autopilot rather than setting it to 50%.
3. Player.log files have been re-instated. I think I've fixed the log spam being generated when the game is paused or slowed down. This should, hopefully, fix the crashes when the game is paused for extended periods of time.
4. Brimstone missiles are now available on the Harrier (replacing the Hellfires), Combat Lynx, SA-349 Gazelle and both AH-64D platforms.
They are fitted in racks of 3 and work in a similar way to the Radar Hellfire except they do not require the Longbow radar system to work. Instead they take telemetry from the TSD display and then use their built in radar seeker to hit the target.
You target the missiles in the same way as the Radar Hellfire - e.g. select the target using the TSD rather than the targeting pod. Alternatively you can use "Next Target"/"Previous Target" buttons to rapidly cycle targets. Missiles are "fire and forget" so no need to maintain lock once the missile is away.
Maximum range is 12km which is currently the same as the Radar Hellfire. However, the Radar Hellfire's range will be reduced to 8km shortly as it is in real life.

Why are you making a sequel to Prison Architect? Prison Architect 1 was officially released eight years ago and it was available to play in its Alpha form for several years before that. A lot of things have changed over the 10+ years of development, however, the interest and basic draw the game has with players has not changed. We looked at Prison Architect 1 and took the features that charmed players the most and brought them into a 3D world that can only go up.
What are the recommended system requirements to play Prison Architect 2? Recommended system requirements are coming soon!
Will Prison Architect 2 have any cross-platform features? Yes! You will be able to share your prison cross-platform via the World of Wardens!
How deep are the prison/room customization options? Do you fancy bare concrete walls and floors? Or do you prefer plush carpets and cozy wood-paneled walls? The choice is yours, Architect.
Why switch from 2D to 3D? This was a highly requested feature, and an easter egg in the original game, together with the option to have multiple floors.
When we started designing Prison Architect 2, we decided those two elements would be a design pillar for the game - as they add depth to construction and gameplay.
This fixes a bug with factories that are building things can can have more things on them (like belts and routers). There was a bug where belts feeding into the factory would occasionally try to put items on the object being constructed instead of the factory itself.
This release also cleans up how belts and routers interface with buildings. There should be a lot less mess with feeding items into factories. Less getting items on the wrong belts and things.
Lastly, a factory that has not had its recipe set yet won't reject incoming items. So you can set up your belts before setting up your recipes if you wish with less mess.
Like always, let us know on discord if you find any bugs with this release! And thanks!
