Our game, "Esport Godfather: Origin", has been released for two weeks. Thank you all for playing and helping us fix many bugs. During the time coaches have played, we've received numerous constructive suggestions and interesting ideas, all of which have greatly benefited us. We are delighted that everyone is discussing with us in about game.
After internal deliberation and discussion, we've decided to make some additions to the game based on the feedback received. However, due to limited resources, we regret to announce some sad news:
We've decided to delay the release of "Esport Godfather" originally scheduled for March 15th, to May 24th. Additionally, we'd like to provide a brief overview of the upcoming work:
Game Guidance:
We will optimize the current guidance mechanism and the game rule reference. By the way, the current game rule reference can be found in the bottom left corner of the battlefield interface, providing an overview of the current game mechanics.
Customization of Initial Team Members:
In the official version, we will offer a feature to customize initial athletes. You can build your own team, including character appearance and name, match trait, routine trait, the hero pool and on and on.
Custom Gameplay:
We have collected many suggestions and opinions regarding gameplay requirements, such as whether the Dragon fight can be ignored, the frequency of version changes, and concerns about the complexity of the upcoming equipment system. Understanding that everyone has their own preferences while playing games, we plan to implement customizable options for gameplay. This will allow you to customize certain aspects of game content and mechanics to improve experience.
MVP Selection Mechanism:
According to the communication with everyone, we found that many players have doubts and dissatisfaction with the MVP selection. We plan to optimize the MVP selection mechanism by adding two interfaces after each match. One interface will present MVP player ratings and commentator comments, while the other will add ratings for all athletes in the match.
To be honest, making this decision was not easy for us. We understand that the delay may disappoint, sadden, or even anger players. Considering the workload and time needed for these additions, we had to choose to delay. We are aware of the expectations for "Esport Godfather," and we also want to polish it into a more refined work. Therefore, we sincerely hope you accept our apology: Sorry, but we need to delay the release by two months.
We plan to update some content related to the League 2 during the Steam Next Fest, including version change, new heroes, the equipment system, and expanding hero pools. We expect to provide an update for "Esport Godfather: Origin" next weekend, along with optimizations to alleviate lag issues. We hope you have a try and provide feedback/bug reports. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Initial work on Empty Ruins Dragon Valley raid! The first two bosses, Tinkerer/Experiment X and the Behemoth, are fightable. Go to the second floor of the pub in Vizier's Rock and talk to the sneaky guy to try out the raid!
Big Things
Improvements to line of sight check. Now the line of sight check won't incorrectly pass in certain situations.
Expansion to salts. Added various salts of different tiers that provide buffs to different skills, depending on the salt.
Add cooking store to Chef Allons after completing Super Supper Saboteur. He sells basic cooking ingredients and fine table salts useful when cooking.
Add mid-level sea salts to fishing. These can be obtained around level 30 fishing.
Bug fix: fix custom item data being lost (e.g., items cooked with recipes) when withdrawing from bank.
Small Things
Improve musket attack mechanic. Now it hits all attackable peeps in a cone-shape in front of the user. As well, it will hit larger NPCs multiple times.
Take into account attack range when calculating chase distance. This means monsters using long-ranged attacks will have an increased attack range.
Make pie-flavored pie level 99. It was too strong!
Buff prayer restoration of pecans.
Decrease average number of secondaries from gathering skills.
Back up save between new releases.
Fix bucklers having wrong stat curve.
Fix strength bonus of rusty needle.
Improvements to attacking across maps. For example, if you're on a ship and attacking a monster in the ocean, line of sight checks and movement checks work better.
Tiny Things
Add sound effects to Nuke projectile.
Add missing music to Vizier's Rock Town Center, Floor 2.
Fix potential crash if equipped item does not have logic.
Fix to animated particle textures. Before, the textures would not animate.
Fix potential crash when drawing GIFs/APNGs in rich text labels.
Don't create decoration mesh if it has 0 vertices.
Fix weather very rarely freezing and/or crashing on different platforms.

Thanks to you I've been able to implement many improvements and fix bugs I wouldn't have discovered by myself. I'm now releasing the latest version of the Demo which also includes a new mode to try out.

Exciting Updates
Added Endless Map - Compete with other players to reach the highest wave! Unlocked after 1-5.
You can now pet the NPC frog on 1-2 and also the Rider & Mount on every map.
Players have access to 4 trap slots once they unlock Endless Mode.
Huge buff to third stage Bean Beasts (2-3x damage).
