Apologies for the late update. 2023 was an exciting year for us entering Early Access, but it was also a massive learning year for us as well. As we entered the new year we’ve been hard at work with a lot of new processes and updates.

Roadmap update:
BattleBit Remastered has chosen to stray away from using a roadmap at this time. This decision allows the development team the flexibility to address emerging priorities, respond to player feedback promptly, and make dynamic adjustments without being constrained by a predetermined timeline. We are working on a way to create a more balanced expectation and better transparency between the community and Developers.

Internal Restructure:
To ensure that BattleBit Remastered continues to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience, we have been undergoing an internal restructuring this month. This revamp is aimed at optimizing our processes, enhancing communication, and fostering a more collaborative and friendly environment.

Improved Weapon Skin Customization:
Prepare to take customization to the next level! We've overhauled the weapon skin customization system, allowing you to fine-tune every aspect of your arsenal. The enhanced customization options will empower you to craft weapons that suit your playstyle or personality perfectly. Get ready to customize weapons to make them uniquely yours. From ghillie skins down to charms, the possibilities are endless! ⁠

Relaunch of Devcast:
The Devcast is back, and it's better than ever! Join us as we relaunch our developer podcast series, offering you an insider's look into the creation of BattleBit Remastered. Every two weeks, discover the stories behind the scenes, learn about the challenges we've overcome, and gain insights into the creative process for updates and changes. Join us for laughs, stories, and maybe even a few secrets behind the design processes that go into building the game.

With a deep understanding of the BattleBit game, the community and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging environment. Making sure your voice is heard and your ideas get the spotlight. Got questions, feedback, or just wanna shoot the breeze? They will be the one to chat with in the forums. Get ready for a whole new level of community love!

New Update Schedule:
We're introducing and working on a revamped update schedule. We learned from the past year that pushing updates out weekly wasn't the best option, as we had little to no time to actually test them out properly. With that being said, expect a more streamlined update process with content, optimizations, and surprises. We are already working on new ways to collect feedback from those in-game as well as storing more stats to better help us understand our player base. This in turn provides you with a dynamic gaming experience that keeps you anticipating what's coming next. Our goal this year is to create a steady stream of new features and improvements to keep BattleBit Remastered fresh, exciting and appealing. Though this implies a decrease in frequency, this will give us the opportunity to better test our updates/patches and figure out issues and bugs that may arise before pushing them onto the live servers. This upcoming update is no exception.

We've experienced highs and lows, learning from every change, update, and interaction along the way. 2023 marked a fantastic year for BattleBit, and our aim is to elevate the experience even further in 2024. A massive shoutout to each one of you for being a vital part of the BattleBit Remastered family. Your ongoing support, feedback, constructive criticism, and genuine love for the game are the driving forces behind our success. MetaDock - undeclared
MetaDock Pricing Update

MetaDock is now a paid product.

On steam, the new price is $59.99 USD (adjusted by region, the price may vary). This includes 1 year of updates until the end of December, 2024.

After that, a 2025 Update Pack DLC will include new updates for MetaDock.

If you currently own MetaDock, you will keep that for life. MetaDock will have new updates until the end of December, 2024, just like the retail product that is paid currently.

Browser engine updates in the background guarantees future updates to your browsing experience, and security updates will also be automatically applied as released.

If today your MetaDock copy is running on Chrome version 120, and that is the latest today, and in 6 months, the version of Chrome is up to 130, MetaDock will be running Chrome 130. This doesn't matter if you have the latest DLC(s), a retail copy, or were a beta tester.

Thanks for your support to all the beta testers, and we hope that you'll continue to use it for the next year. we could not do this without you.
Stellar Initiative - Five Head Games
Armour on T4 walls was planned as a strong late-game upgrade, but ended up being too accessible and made the player immune to small enemies too easily. This strategy is too strong and does not require any planning or artifacts. Now there will only be throns on T4 wall.

Generator upgrades do feel less valuable compared to others. Now Rocket launcher tree and battle upgrades are a little more expensive, but generator upgrades are cheaper.

- Defense missions now are slightly harder (0.75->0.7 delay modificator)

During the winter, Miracle Time will be enabled for equipment for specific slots giving you double the chance to Rank-Up your gear once. Each slot will have a miracle window, so keep your eyes peeled for news on upcoming Miracle Time announcements!

On Saturday, January 20, 2024, Maplers on all Worlds will have Miracle Time enabled for Face Accessories, Eye Accessories, Pendants, Shoulders, Rings, Earrings, Belts, Badges, Emblems, and Android Hearts! Cube all of these critical stat-boosting items all-day Saturday with the improved Rank-Up chances!

Event Details:
  • During the noted periods, you will be able to Cube away on Equipment for the Face Accessory, Eye Accessory, Pendant, Shoulder, Ring, Earring, Belt, Badge, Emblem, and Android Heart slots with Glowing Cubes, Bright Cubes, and Bonus Glowing Cubes, as well as Bonus Bright Cubes and Violet Cubes if you have them, with double the chance to rank-up equipment once when cubing!
  • During the Miracle Time period, using a Cash Cube to upgrade an item to Legendary Rank will activate the "Double Miracle Time Blessing" buff for the map.
  • Equipment for other slots does not benefit from this instance of the Miracle Winter event.

Mobius Playtest - LOW GRADE CUM
- Attacks while exhausted now have 50% tighter turncap

- Bubble size increased
Note: This is an experimental fix while we spend more time tuning
animations and movement.

- Stamina on hit increased to 10

- Exhausted attacks have been tuned to reduce egregious backswing scenarios

- Stabs tuned to be slightly more reactable

- LTS_Storm has received a significant update

- Feint recovery system has been temporarily disabled for a hardcoded 450ms feint recovery time

- Added a skip button to the tutorial video

- Added a team auto-select

- Added "service chat messages" like a message when a player joins

- Added "Hide Empty" option to server browser

- Removed the comp/casual player segregation
