It is the first Simbro News of 2024! It's time to update everyone on what's going on and what's next!
Next Update/Programming So, let's get into the first topic. As mentioned, we will continue the second part of the Gameplay/Events Update. The second part of the update will have the shop finally added to the game. This will allow you to buy clothes for all of your characters. We will also be working on some gameplay for the game. First will be how showers and staff rooms function in the game. Showers and Staff Rooms will now have a "capacity" starting at 400 points. At the end of each day, these 400 points will be divided among you and your staff. This means that 1 shower can bring 4 characters from 0 to 100 hygiene every day. As you add staff you may need to add more rooms to increase the "capacity". We will also be working on some more bug fixes that have caused everyone trouble.
Character Art Both of our artists are hard at work on more outfits for the game. Currently, they are working on getting more underwear for the female models. We're hoping to have these out as soon as possible, but we can't promise they will be out in the next update.
Animation So, as promised, we're currently working to get animations for climax scenes. We are currently working with an artist to get the first climax animation done. So far, everything is looking good, but we will keep everyone updated.
We will be working on more "naughty" scenes for the characters. These scenes will be for specific areas of the game, so we're unsure when they will be added due to how precise we want them to be.
Background Art Mamacita will be working on the background art for the second floor. This includes the VIP lounge, Bar, Stage, and other backgrounds for rooms in that area. We look forward to seeing Mamacita crush it.
Outro That's it for this round of news. We want to thank everyone for all of their warm words and support. I can't express how much it means to all of us. We are looking forward to getting this next update out.
I want to thank you for your continued support and love. I'm passionate about videogames, especially multiplayer games. When I first started playing Animal Crossing I was hoping it'd be something I could enjoy with my friends online. Turns out you can't decorate together, there are no co-op minigames, and you have to slowly watch as people try to leave your island. So I set out on a journey to make my own game.
Over the last 2 years a small team and I have been working hard at making the cozy game of our dreams, Galactic Getaway! You'll farm, tame pets, and explore an undiscovered planet with new and old friends. Team up to play a variety of mini-games or just hangout and build. I'm excited to announce that we’re officially launching our Kickstarter on January 30th.
Here’s how you can support Galactic Getaway:
Follow the campaign (there will be some awesome rewards for our early supporters once the campaign launches)!
A new version of RealFlight Evolution is available as a public beta. Version 10.10.080 focuses on improvements to RealFlight's user interface, including a few bug fixes that were related to the UI in some way.
General UI improvements, including animations, summary data, improved aircraft previews, and other usability features
Up Arrow keyboard shortcut for Quick Look at Windsock continues working normally after opening and closing the main menu
Challenge dialogs do not appear on top of the UI after a challenge ends

How to Get the Beta Build
Restart your Steam client to ensure it is aware of the new version.
Right-click the Steam icon in your system tray and select Exit.
Once everything closes, run Steam again.
Right-click on RealFlight Evolution in your Steam library, then select Properties…
In the Properties window, select Betas on the left.
Click the Beta Participation dropdown control to expand the list.
Select “publicbeta_directx11”.
Close the Properties dialog.
Steam will now download the new version (10.10.080).
You can switch back and forth between the beta and the default (non-beta) distribution branch at any time. Simply perform steps 2-7 above, except in step 5 choose “None” instead of “publicbeta_directx11”.
If you are already connected to the "publicbeta_directx11" beta but the update has not yet occurred automatically, simply perform step 1 to initiate it.
