After a whole year of development the 1.12 version of Wyoming Winter is now live! It revamps almost every system in the game, introduces proximity chat, public lobbies, a new menu, fixes every previously reported bug plus way more!
The game is free, multiplayer and takes a minute to download so you may as well give it a go.
- added new plexus background - added new loading animation - settings are transparent when accessed from ingame - fixed issue where multiplayer wouldn't work properly - fixed challenge menu on ultrawide monitors - fixed issue with drone ghost being replayed too fast - fixed issues with ads being dependent on quality settings - resolved issue with steam api that caused initializing failure and game freezing
Skins and Hairstyles for Nova are now available for all Patreons. These outfits can be unlocked in “The Fashion House” with their respective Patreon ranks. (Note: The skins are currently only for the Nova busts and don’t apply to the sex scenes.) (Note: I also recommend reopening your Patreon chests for these changes to take effect.) Programming the 4-day events in the game, I ran into a lot of my old code and a lot of mistakes I made as a newbie at the start. And I realized that if I didn't fix them, this would cause problems and delays in future updates. So, I corrected most of these errors and optimized some things.
I removed many busts of Nova that were not used and made a touch-up on his model as well as that of Princess Roxana. These will be the final ones in the game.
Add the busts of Margott and the twins, Abby and Amy.
Adjust the size of Nova, Roxana, Verónica and the twins so that they are proportional to the other characters and the environment feels more immersive.
I had to remove the scenes of Nova with long and short hair, since making a code for these hairstyles would take a long time and in the end my goal is to make all the skins appear. But for now, it will only be the base hairstyle, this will make me focus on just one.
The colors of some busts have been fixed, since some had very dull or lackluster colors.
I made many changes internally and bugs may appear. If that happens, don't hesitate to let me know. I hope you like the new Nova skins.
Yeah! Can you believe it? In very much the same fashion as Night of the Living Dead, The Dover Boys failed to have their copyright renewed. I personally think WB should do Dover Boys stuff anyway but hey whatever.
'Survivors Mode'?
Yeah. You know. Like that other game I got addicted to for like a whole month. It's going to be different than the game as a whole, with the very likely excision of pathfinding for technical reasons but I think it's gonna be fun.
'Story Mode'?
It's a LITTLE bit wishful thinking but yes, I have an idea for a story mode, it's called Rule of Inverse Ninjas and it'd be a goddamned blast but that would probably be the most expensive thing I could attempt with this game. It and online multiplayer are *really* rickety but damn it, I wanna do ONE of 'em.
Can the character after Dan Backslide be [this public domain character]?
We're open to suggestions! Let us know 'em here! This ain't a democracy, I'll decide which gets chosen next but man I love the engagement.
Anything else?
We're considering looking for ways to store the character info externally for easier modding so anyone can put any character in, but we'll see.
Work continued in December to implement major optimizations, but some diminishing returns were starting to hit, so I started a partial multiplayer rewrite to try to fix the many issues it currently has. I discarded large swats of code, old attempts at fixing shared mode and editor synchronization. It's now looking much better, at least on my end, so we will see how it goes when the beta goes public. I then took some holidays to think about where to go next with 1.11. The main idea I had for the release was not working out, so I implemented some small features and will consider making a release sooner than later.
・ Some changes for lighting to improve performance. ・As a result of the above, the file size has increased and the time required for initial loading has increased.
