Boons & Burdens is a single player action-roguelike set in the depths of a hellish dimension. Battle hordes of demons through 9 levels, collect gems to purchase powerful boons, and choose from deadly burdens that alter the game's difficulty. Will you be the paragon of power or the architect of your own defeat?
The game will be launching with over 130 upgrades (boons), and dozens of challenges (Burdens). Play as the Cryomancer or Pyromancer, and take on hordes of demons as truly unique character classes, brimming with power.
Hello Goblins. A new course has been added for the golf mode: MiniGolf! Putter's only. Bounce off walls and stuff. Every hole should be doable in one stroke, but it may not be easy! 9 new minigolf holes, though you may notice holes 8 and 9 are eerily similar to two of the tee off challeneges (sorry I got lazy)
Patch 1.3.1 is finally live, and I sincerely apologize for the delay in releasing it. Part of the delay was me getting sick for a week, and another part was a technical issue to release the version, which was otherwise ready since Saturday 28th of December.
Patch 1.3.1 includes:
the possibility for all players to add the Christmas tree to the Moon or Mars base. It requires the solar kiln to be made available through a research project and then installed on the base. The Christmas tree is only available during the holidays season in the game time.

various stability fixes and performance improvements

Main story quest: Sail north to the treacherous waters of the Zircadian Isles located in the Cerulean Sea in an effort to locate the 2nd Mistshard before the Zircadian Empire can find it. Avoid the dangerous Dark Tide pirates as you scour the seas and its many islands for ancient ruins and the secrets they hold.
Tons of side quests: Help the citizens of Shambletown escape from certain doom, discover what lurks beneath the church-ship Faith on the Seas, investigate a plot of sabotage by one of the sea guilds, explore the inside of a child's painting, and more!
New areas: Learn to talk pirate at the new hub of Bargeport - home to scurvy sea dogs and rapscallions, sail to the many islands in the Cerulean Sea, discover a lost settlement of elfin people in the jungles, dive deep into the Arteia Depths and speak with the finned Merwyn people, and more!
2 new Guises to unlock: The swashbuckling Privateer who protects their allies and lays waste to their foes pirate-style, and the artsy Illustromancer who paints their creations to life to hinder foes and help their party.
New achievements and collectibles to pad your Collectivus.
