Happy new year everyone!!! This is the last patch of 2023 which added four new languages (portuguese-portugal, spanish-spain, spanish-latin america and french).

Things are moving along in development now and the game is almost in an actually playable state! For now there's not a whole lot more you can do than in the previous major update, but quite a few things have been changed and fixed. I'm also sending out a few more keys for more testing
Now uses Forward+ rendering to prevent issues with too many lights on an object just breaking the lighting. -This was going to be necessary even if I reduced the number of lights in each area because the game is supposed to support 8 players and that is also the maximum number of lights per object that Forward rendering supports so if I didn't update to Forward+ lights would have broken no matter what. -Forward+ means unlimited lights per object, though it does have a performance cost
The one mirror no longer works, but this is by design! -the reflection probe was eating frames even though it was at a fairly low resolution so I've just removed it for now -i may not even add it back, working mirrors aren't super necessary
Items have been updated - the EMF Reader actually has a proper model now and actually works as you would expect it to - there is now a UV light and a camera - flashlights have been updated and now need to be charged regularly (so does the camera). - interactable items now have indicators to let you know you can interact with them
The ghost can now leave more evidence than previously, I won't spoil everything but it's probably pretty obvious from the available items.
The ghost now doesn't go to the wrong floor while wandering within its room
The playable map has more decorations and locations for the ghost to go
The ghost now reacts to some words/phrases when you talk! -I need to make a big list of things for it to react to and how it will react at some point so that this is more immersive and cooler
Menus have been updated! -new users may experience tiny resolution on first start up, but this can easily be changed in the settings
Known Issues:
Quitting or disconnecting actually shuts the network manager down now, but for some reason it will not spawn players when connecting again until after restarting the game
There still isn't really much to actually do in the game -Still no objectives -The ghost is harmless at the moment
Still have to get fairly close to the invite screen to interact with it in the lobby level -I'll be looking into this soon, i extended the interact range of the player but it didn't seem to affect this for some reason
Shadows for a lot of objects still look dumb. -Thanks Universal Render Pipeline, very cool
