We honestly thought that the last update from a week ago would be the final one in 2023. But one thing sort of let to another, so... we released a hotfix and an update, and there's this update today, too!
It's gonna be the last one this year, honestly! (Or so we hope) Besides, it was worth the effort: this update brings some beatiful new animation and cheerful voice of Dr. Katz to the game*:

Q: "It's been a long time since I saw any wild growth in my world, trees or cotton spreading... is that intentional or is something broken? ()" -(Zydox79) A: New plants stop emerging after 50% of the map is occupied.
Q: "I don't get cats to enter Schrodinger's chamber, they just stand outside looking... I had the same issue before the patch as well... One cat went in and got cloned but after that no other cats wants to get cloned... I think you might need to work on education for the cats so that they aren't scared of quantum physics..." -(Zydox79) A: It seems that you just got lucky with that first cat: normally cats can't be dragged into a service/tasting building or a Boutique. Instead, there's a chance that they decide to stroll into one of those buildings by themselves.

Currently, I use a large number of plots to produce apples for making fertilizer. If I want to reduce the number of plots, I have to use fertilizer to speed up the regeneration time of apples. However, this leads to a shortage of fertilizer, making it unavailable for use elsewhere. As I progress in the game, I've noticed that the only plant with a longer regeneration time is the cactus. Using fertilizer for other plants seems to be a significant disadvantage." -(mezese) A: There're many ways to boost the overall efficiency of plants' growth and harvesting at the end of the Research Tree. If you want to save Apple Boxes, you can also use an alternate recipe to produce Fertilizer from Fish and Milk. Make sure the tiles for growing Apple Trees are of 100% efficiency, too. But we do not have plans to add modifiers for base Fertilizer efficiency: it's up to you to decide which plants to fertilize to maximize the efficiency of production, it's part of the gameplay. We'll think of how to make it more comprehensive in this case in future updates!

We promised to show more of this ambitious open-world RPG EARTHLOCK 2 is bringing up so here we are.
Today we want to cover one of the integral aspects of the game with you: Biomes. Let’s dive into it.
The Desert of Kor 🏜️
EARTHLOCK 2 is set in a vast and sprawling arid region called The Desert of Kor. If you played EARTHLOCK, you noticed that the environment is quite friendly. That’s not the case in EARTHLOCK 2: The heat of the sun makes life almost impossible here, so why would anyone want to go there?
Rumors of wealth and unimaginable riches have started to flow, as people speak of forests springing up in an instant, mysterious vaults of treasure, and ancient relics with limitless power. These promises and the fame that they bring, drive people to The Desert of Kor. All are in search of greatness, but will they find what their dreams are made of or will they be claimed by the sands?

Where Biomes Appear, Life Begins! 🌴
Lush Biomes full of life and danger spring into existence in the middle of the ocean of sand. What causes this? That’s one of the main mysteries to solve through the gameplay. These vibrant ecosystems within the sandy expanse are not just picturesque landscapes, but living entities with secrets waiting to be unraveled.
Your travels will take you on expeditions, navigating the harsh desert to our lush Biomes. Plant, nurture, but remember: Control isn't absolute. The world thrives independently, with others hunting for resources or disrupting the ecosystem. It's a delicate balancing act and you’ll have to discover how to properly tend to each Biome.
Biomes Concept Art.And what makes each biome unique and valuable? Well, every biome is different! That means you will encounter different Fruits, critters, and other life forms and together they make up that biome's distinct dynamics.
Each Biome has distinct Levels and Biodiversity Requirements, allowing them to transform into more vibrant or dangerous versions. However, beware – If you get too greedy and take too much from the biome, you might end up killing it. So take good care of your Biome!
“What can I do with those resources?”, you may ask us. As you return from your expedition to the Outposts, they will happily buy and request new resources from Biomes for your next expedition.
How Do Biomes Come To Life? A Mystery To Be Solved.The Biomes provide the backdrop for an epic adventure where every step you take and every resource you harvest shapes the desert's destiny and, in turn, your own. As you embark on your Expedition, the desert won't initially be adorned with these Biomes though. A formidable challenge awaits. Shape the desert's destiny and your own!

Since January 2022, there are plan to make the sequel of Surabaya Inferno called Djayakarta 1945. Since August 2023, after reupdate Surabaya Inferno, we has prepared to make the concept of game calls "The State of War in Java" .
The State of War in Java focus on revolution in several places around Java start from Jakarta, Semarang, Bandung, Bekasi, Ambarawa, and Sukabumi.
Djayakarta 1945 is name of first episode of The State of War in Java which focus on revolution in Jakarta which quite different from revolution in Surabaya (Surabaya Inferno)
In late October 2023, we have developed the prototype of The State of War in Java and last week, we have make the prototype build. Now we have released the prototype in Itch.io For screenshots, you can see in here

It is not ready yet so i recommend sticking to english, but i am working hard on getting it all in. --fixed an issue where the lazer of the bat boss would double scale and oneshot. -- Fixed the issue where sometimes rooms wouldn't open at floor 5 and out. (it was an enemy spawning as inactive.) -- Fixed an issue where elemental damage would add too much damage per shot. -- Finally fixed the issue where targets would suddendly get untargetable. -- Fixed Volatile Embers. It actually works now. -- re-tuned difficulty and added a "medium" difficulty. -- fixed some translation issues.

Working on localization right now, its not fixed, but it will be worked heavily on in the upcoming days. Fixed some scaling i think and some balance changes.
