Celebrate Christmas and the New Year in War Thunder!

We’re nearing the end of December now, which means it’s time for gifts, bright decorations, fireworks and generally a jolly festive mood. All of which await you this Christmas and New Year’s period!

You’re invited to plunge into the festive atmosphere in War Thunder this holiday season to enjoy yourself and receive excellent rewards. Take a look below at everything we’ve prepared for you!

Play and meet the criteria to receive each gift.

Play 3 battles using vehicles of Rank III or higher with an activity level of 70% or more.

We’ve got two special chests lined up for you this festive season: the Christmas Chest that can be purchased for Golden Eagles, and the Snowman for Silver Lions.

When: From December 20th (12:00 GMT) until January 15th (12:00 GMT).

Once opened, there’s a chance to get either a Premium Account, Silver Lions, Universal backups, Boosters, Premium vehicles as well as vehicles that have never been sold for Golden Eagles or War Bonds, and are not currently sold in the game or on the Market.

The Snowman

You’re able to purchase the “Snowman” and its “Carrot” to open it. Once opened, there’s a chance to get either unique Decals, Decorations, vehicles and camouflages from past winter events in War Thunder (including in the form of coupons), as well as Silver Lions, Boosters, Universal Backups, a Profile Icon, Aerobatic Smoke and Orders.

The “Carrot” is also obtainable in the Winter Extreme event!

Winter Extreme: Earn Yourself Rewards this Festive Season!

Take part in battles, earn mission score points and receive a variety of cool rewards.

Please be aware that on December 20th, we will be having a scheduled maintenance on Knight Online servers. During maintenance game services will be temporarily unavailable.

Maintenance time will be as follows:
Knight Online Server Time (EST): 21:00
South America (PET): 20:00
Turkey: 4:00

Duration: Approx. 4 hours.

During this server maintenance;

* Christmas Events has started.

* Arena of Manes Event has started.

* Daily Login Event has started.

* Special Defense Scroll items that you can purchase from NPC Aset have been added to the game. These items, which you can buy for 30,000,000 Noah, provide a 5 defense increase against the weapon type you choose.

* The sale of Minerva items, which you can buy from NPC Aset for 50,000,000 Noah, has started!

* Prayer of Priest item is also available for sale through Aset. When the item is purchased from Aset, it gives +55% attack. You can buy it for 30,000,000 Noah. (Applicable for Priest class.)

* Blessed Talisman Enchancement has been added to the Wheel of Fun.

* Ronarkland instant ladder list UI section has been added to the game.

- The Ladder UI section appears when you press the '~' key.
- Shows all players in the ladder ranking.
- You can switch between pages with the Right and Left arrow keys.
- There is a 5-second delay when switching between pages.
- When you press the '~' button again, it updates with a delay of 5 seconds. During this process, it will continue to show the data of its old state.
- People with a ladder score of 0 will not be included in the list.

* The defense provided by the Special Neredis (Defense) item has been increased from 30 to 50.

* The emblem features of I Love Knight Online and I will continue playing Knight Online have been changed.

* Updates to the Genie system;
- The response time of the Genie system has been accelerated.
- The number of attack and recovery skills that can be saved has been increased from 4 to 8.

* Juraid Mountain matching system and rewards have been changed.
- Parties have been arranged to start with high-level players.
- Even if low-level players apply first, high-level players will enter first.
- Rewards given according to level have been changed.

* 50 Kill, 7th armor and 8th armor quests can be taken by players level 82 and above.
- It will be level 83 during maintenance on January 4th.

* Reminder; Returner's Token and Return Supply Exchange Coupon items will be deleted on January 18th, 2024. For this reason, take care to use the relevant items by this date.

New Year's Eve event!

This update is mainly related to the New Year's event and the new battle pass!

Added battle pass!
Added 3 new tanks in a New Year theme with unique effects
Temporary themed camouflage and stickers have been added
A huge number of tasks with pleasant rewards

Also in this update:

Drones have been optimized, now they should not slow down on weak devices, and rare bugs with the drone camera have been fixed
Maps have been optimized, and new objects have been added to the maps
In general, optimization for weak devices (mainly affects mobile devices)
Fixes of numerous bugs that we learned about from player feedback
