New update 0.4.8 is live, here is a summary of the changes and fixes:
Improved performance across the game, as we optimized CPU requirements of enemy entities and their navigation. Texture optimizations also were done, which should improve FPS on all devices.
Fixed an issue that was causing crashes when exiting the game.
Fixed an issue that was not properly updating unlocks for players and would only reflect on game restart. Now unlocks should be available from the moment you acquire them.
Added a new stage: daylight version of the Dominion Island Port
Fixed an issue with Starfire Arrows which was causing potential errors in the simulation.
Updated 3D model and animations for enemy soldiers.
Fixed some navigation issues with enemies where they couldn’t find a proper path to the player.
Added some player navigation indicators to tutorial stage to better guide the player during the end sequence.
Added a “Return to Game” option to the “Pause” menu.
Lots of small bug fixes across the board.
Shout out to all of our testers and members of the community in Discord which have continually helped us track down some of the bugs and given great feedback on gameplay.
Stay tuned for more Champion Shift updates, can’t wait to share what we are cooking!

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery - [AG] riv otter
Hey artists,
Behind the Frame joins Story-Rich ‘Mega Bundle’ with other amazing story-rich titles like Before Your Eyes, Wytchwood, King Of The Castle, and more! 10 games all for about 25 dollars. Also be sure to check out a ton of other games that are still in development and give them a wishlist!
We have a giant update for you today that, frankly, should have been multiple updates but we couldn’t resist giving it to you all at once.
QUEENS UPDATE
Queens DLC now has a second apartment: Welcome to Astoria, Queens. Double the fun!
Featuring a new street scene, five new plants (two growing from sprouts), and new furniture and artwork.
BASE GAME UPDATE
We’ve all wanted it and now it is here:
STORAGE
The Infinite Storage Unit is available to purchase in all apartments. Now you can store those seasonal items and not have to sell them. Storage will work across all apartments but you must buy a storage unit for each apartment for it to work. Plants can’t be stored—only artwork and furniture.
FERTILIZER UPGRADE
After you have purchased the fertilizer subscription (which gives you unlimited fertilizer), a new item will appear in the store. The Mushroom Terrarium is a wonder of magic. It will fertilize everything for you!
COZY MODE
Once your apartment is full of plants and art and curated just the way you like it, you can sit back and relax in COZY MODE. Activate on the pause screen and enjoy your plants without the fuss of coins or watering or fertilizing. Time will still pass and you can use your gloves to move items around. Click on the tea cup button to turn it off.
NEW ACHIEVEMENTS
We are keeping the achievement party rolling with the COUCH POTATO and MAGIC MUSHROOM achievements.
ADJUSTMENTS
Added plushes to journal.
Fixed seasonal green garland to light up at night as well as day.
Adjusted some furniture so it sits closer to wall.
Fixed items that were incorrectly tagged in the journal.
More updates on Gatabot path so it is less likely to get stuck on furniture.
Updated Discord link. We keep getting told it doesn’t work but have tested and it seems ok.
The new version brings a number of new features. Brand new 2 ships with landing module, redesigned planets, optimizations, bug fixes.
2 new spacecraft
Lander FK2 Delta The Delta is slightly larger than the Lander FK1 Transporter. It carries a vehicle instead of a hover. It has a little better cargo space and other parameters.
Lander FK10 Infinity
The FK10 Infinity Lander, on the other hand, is the largest final ship in the game that can land on planets.
It has a very good cargo hold. You can also use a small transport fighter, a robot and a vehicle on the planet.
Infinity has a large cargo and very good other parameters. It's so big that you can move around inside it using hover. Since you can't easily land on all planets due to the size, you can also use a fast capsule landing.
Redesigned planets
All major planets outside of Earth have been redesigned and optimized.
The new version also fixes reported bugs, and we've fixed and tweaked many things for better gameplay.
Hi, progress is moving along, slow but steady. At this stage, it's mostly finances that are slowing down progress. While I work on bosses and enemies, and wait for funds to have new models made or purchased I have been prototyping for other projects. This helps in building more skills in the Unreal engine but also creates new ideas for Unnatural Investigations. I am working on one prototype that may become a side project, but more to come on that later.
With the new ideas and experience I decided to take a look at the game, its systems, and what's good and what may be bad(not fun). This was a reflection of everything about this game, from its start to now. Some things were lost and others gained, but neither were good nor bad.
That being said, the underwhelming reception of the game opens up some new potential paths forward. As I mentioned before the game will be finished, no doubts there but what the final product looks like is not certain. Having little wishlist and even smaller sales in itself is a bummer but it does offer a path forward that successful games don't have.
That path is big changes to the gameplay system, systems that if they were attached to a successful game would hurt or divide the playerbase. Having a little to no player base means I can change anything with little worry of losing or alienating fans or potential players.
So what does all that mean, well simple I have some new ideas and I want anyone who is following this game to have some input. The demo is free so I encourage everyone who has wishlisted the game to download and play. Then I want your feedback on everything, but more specifically on two questions.
Do you want more action? or Do you want more horror?
What do I mean, well currently the game is about a 70/30 ratio with action being 70 and horror being 30. Originally it was flipped, but changed over development. So do you want more gunplay, killing lots of monsters or fewer monsters, less shooting, and a darker and potentially scarier experience? Either is a good path, but each path would change the core gameplay.
So if you read this please comment with your feedback and choice here or go to my discord -> https://discord.gg/NGMAAjvbYe and do the emoji poll.
Please note, that either way, the game will continue, but you may see major changes in some features. The demo will be updated as this happens so everyone can experience the game and know if it's for them or not.
Thanks again for reading this and supporting development.
Hi there, the new update 1.5 for HE ESCAPED is here and it comes with the following additions and changes:
New game mode: VEL-LA
Uncover the candle carefully and pick up the key if you think you are alone in the room. But be careful, uncovering the candle for too long will attract the danger if it's hiding in the room. Check the room before the timer runs out and risk picking up the key or be safe and forfeit your turn. The new game mode is playable alone and in local multiplayer for up to 4 players.
WHERE IS THE KEY?
The color of the jars is brighter to make them easier to see in the dark.
The jars are slightly bigger in size.
Achievements
Added a new achievement for escaping the VEL-LA mode in maximum danger.
Added a new achievement for escaping the HE ESCAPED mode with no sound.
General
Fixed an issue that caused the starting lights sound to play improperly when restarting a session of HE ESCAPED.
Fixed an issue when opening doors that sometimes caused minor animation issues in HE ESCAPED.
Added new icons to the main menu for each different game mode.
