Orc Survivor - TitanCrestGames
This is a small release that fixes a few bugs from the last patch. Thanks to every one that reported these bugs!

- The Purist quest is now possible again. The new start-up sequence was counting your first weapon as an additional weapon pick-up, failing the purist quest incorrectly.
- Fix the shield weapon to position all its shields correctly. When you were at 4 shields, it would output all 4 shields in really weird positions, including 2 shields directly on top of each other.
- Adjust the Protean quest to only require 1/3/5 item unlocks, instead of 1/5/10. With the Passive items no longer being unlocks, this quest was impossible to complete. It's breakpoints will be adjusted upwards as new weapons are added (for the rogue or future mage class).
- With the 'one more time' mod on the Blink weapon, it was possible to spam the teleport button to teleport more than just 2 times. This has been fixed.
- Remove the spin-up animation on the buzzsaw, and reduce its overall volume. This should make it a bit easier to keep buzzsaws moving around, even if you teleport around the map, losing the buzzsaws from your screen as you move.
- Add some additional null checks to the Blink weapon, as a safety mechanism to try to stop a potential crash scenario.

SPOILERS: This Operation is meant for players who have already completed the “Whispers in the Walls” Quest!

You may have fended off The Man in the Wall’s opening gambit and faced the Murmur beneath Deimos, but the worst is yet to emerge from that expansive indifference, Tenno. Fibonacci needs your help to rally the Clans and set up a new kind of defense through your Clan Dojos!

Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry commences on December 18 and will end January 15 at 2 p.m. ET.

How It Works

To participate, you must install the new Vigile Jahu Gargoyle within your Dojo using Resources collected from Albrecht’s Laboratory. This will connect your Dojo to those of other Clans throughout the system and allow you to start powering it up!

From there, travel to the Effervo Mission on Deimos and successfully take down one of the Fragmented Trio. Each Fragmented One will drop a Cursed Murmur Energy for the whole Squad depending on its type.

  • The Fragmented Suzerain will drop the Curse of Knowing.
  • The Fragmented Anchorite will drop the Curse of Seeing
  • The Fragmented Zelator will drop the Curse of Hearing.
Be wary, though. Void Angels are also lurking around the Laboratories and, should you fail to stop them, they will consume the Curse.

After the Mission, return to your Dojo to feed the Curse to your Gargoyle, banking your progress towards the community reward: the Krios Signa. Once the goal is met, you’ll be able to purchase this new Signa from the Vigile Jahu Gargoyle until February 15, 2024!

Your Rewards

With each successful foray against The Fragmented Trio, you’ll also acquire Grotesque Splinters. Trade these Grotesque Splinters with the Gargoyle in your Dojo to receive Entrati Sigils, a Color Palette, and many other rewards! More Grotesque Splinters are awarded for playing on the Steel Path.

Fibonacci Plushies

In collaboration with MakeShip, we’re releasing a brand-new plushie featuring the Cavia’s fishiest member: Fibonacci! You can order your very own plush inspired by one of the in-game Cavia Floofs by heading over to MakeShip today.

That’s not all, Tenno! We’re also making a $5000 donation to the London Humane Society to keep spreading the love to animals big and small that inspired Whispers in the Walls. After all, where would Albrecht be without his loyal companion, Kalymos?

Good luck, Tenno! You are all that stands between the Murmur and the Origin System.

Sneak peeks
LotRT is a game with a ton of intriguing stories, exciting adventures and incredible art to enjoy. We've already been dropping small teasers of what's to come before putting up the Steam page, so we figured we'd make a post here to show you what you missed so far!

Inspirations
Sometimes, we like to go to real life medieval fairs and watch real riders jousting, 13th century style!

If you'd like to dive into the games that inspired us (tabletop and videogames both), check out our fifth newsletter: The Games that Inspired Us!

P.S.: Have you signed up to our newsletter yet? You should! Click here to do so!

Gameplay Previews
There's quite a few knights you'll be able to recruit to the Round Table, we showcase them every now and then. Here's one of our favorites, Sir Gawain. You can read more about him in our 4th newsletter that dives deeper into some gameplay mechanics.

Art & Music
Some of LotRT's most unique aspects are the beautiful, hand-painted illuminated manuscript art and the music played on real, period-accurate instruments!

Our recent newsletter, Medieval Music for Videogames, written with the help of Anne Azema from the Boston Camerata, goes over the unique challenges of creating the OST for the game!

We also occasionally publish musical extracts directly from the game to give you a taste of the excellent songs and music you'll enjoy during your adventures.

When it comes to the art, the game's stunning visuals draw inspiration from illuminated manuscripts of the XIIIth century. Our artist has meticulously hand-drawn the environments, staying true to authentic medieval painting techniques, including the tools, dyes, and colors available during that period.

Here's a short sneak peek at the care and love that goes behind painting the elements of the game.

We hope you enjoy your time here and be sure to say hello! Leave a comment, join the Legends of the Round Table Discord server, check us out on Youtube, X (Twitter), Facebook and Instagram and most importantly, stay honorable!

See you soon.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master - livia
Ossu!

Are you ready for Christmas? Let us help you get into the festive spirit and we have a special gift for you! It is a Christmas update! It will be released on December 21st at 8 pm CET.

Christmas Update
As with the Halloween update, we'd like to add some festive flair to JDM. We hope you enjoy these little treats.

From Thursday, the trees and streets of Japanese Drift Master will be covered in snow. As you go through the winding streets of the Japanese city, you'll come across snowmen and scattered presents (try driving into them to see what happens), and you might even find our Christmas Wish Truck! On the technical side, we're still working on the in-game tweaks, so you should notice an improvement. We won't give away all the details of the update today, so you'll have a bigger surprise on Thursday!

Today we say goodbye, but we'll be back on Thursday with another devlog, a new update, and the release of the JDM demo on GOG! Thank you for all the bugs and suggestions that have been reported. We're aware that some wheels and hardware still don't work quite right, but we'll do our best to make sure everyone is happy with the full version of the game! We take any feedback from you very seriously, so if you would like to share your opinion with us, please visit our Discord. Mention Japanese Drift Master in your letter to Santa and add the game to your wishlist on Steam! Stay tuned.

Moonshine adventure
We associate the snowmen from the new update with the strange character Zero-Karoten, from the Booze Masters: Freezing Moonshine, which Asmodev recently released. We are excited to be the publisher of this crazy game. We encourage you to experience the adventure in the frosty motel "La Sorpresa" for yourself, and now is a great opportunity to do so, as the game is discounted by 15% until Wednesday!
