-the local skin system is now done!! Open Mod now has modding! You can now create your own professional custom local skin for any gun or attachment or you could use the stock metallic and normal maps in order to have some details on the skin, and use a random image for the base map! -made the gameplay feel much better by adding motion blur + depth of field when the player is shooting or is being shot at. This will make it much harder to aim when shooting full auto and the player will be more immersed into the combat!

-fixed a HUGE issue which caused the weapon customization menu to bug out if the player entered the customization menu too quickly after starting the game and the things didn’t have enough time to load

-dimmed the laser line shader to a point where the laser line is not even noticeable anymore in order to give it a more realistic look

-other small bug fixes, code optimization and improvements

The last part of our announcement is dedicated to one more interesting feature - the Inventory System.

The inventory system gives you the opportunity to pull booster and unit cards, keeping them stored in your inventory until you see fit for use. A tap on the icon situated on the top bar will grant you access to all your cards, ready for deployment at your convenience. Rather than being tied to a specific map, your inventory is linked to your account, meaning it's available across all maps.

Any rewards procured from operations, as well as newly acquired unit cards, will find their place in your inventory. This will boost your game opportunities and introduce new dynamics into your strategy.

Fixed memory leak issue

Dear SUR5 players,

We are proud to announce that you have officially played over 10000 PvP games! It's a huge milestone for our indie team and on-line community. We started Early Access in April and It's been a year full of hard work. We greatly appreciate your support, testing and feedback. Here are list of things we accomplished in 2023:

Thank you all so much for supporting our work and helping Slay the Princess reach a level of success that gives our studio the freedom to make our games completely on our own terms and the way we want to make them moving forward!

We're extremely proud of what we've made with Slay the Princess, but now that the dust from launch has started to settle, we think we can make it even better. So we'd like to announce The Pristine Cut edition, releasing next year (date TBD). We don't want to give away too many details just yet, but you can expect:

• Several new chapters.
  
• Significant expansions to several chapters already in the game.
  
• And more to be revealed at a later date!

To thank you all for your ardent support, Slay the Princess - The Pristine Cut will be a completely free upgrade to the game, and the base price will remain the same as it is now.

Open Steam Overlay.



Go to the controller settings.



Select the "Gamepad" layout. Apply the selected layout.



Return to the game and go to its settings. Now your controller should be detected.



All that remains is to adjust the axes and, if necessary, enable control inversion.
