Game Setup: team name is shown next to faction name (if there is a team). Improves clarity on who plays together.
Game Setup: option to enable "Unlimited Building" during game setup, i.e. more than one ore refinery can be placed per sector. Engine needs to be set to "v.03" during game setup (default for single player).
UI: Condensed the AI setup options to be more compact (UI clarity). Just expand to get the full options (they have not been removed!).

OpenBSD/etc.: general support for OpenBSD, FreeBSD and NetBSD (needs the generic version from the website to run). Also needs proper natives supplied by the player in addition (currently not out of the box).
Maintenance: for multiplayer, removed the option to set the weekdays and hours per day where a game can be played. Removes the potential of early game removal (inactive timer).
Bugfix: Scenario icons were created wrongly, especially for wide maps. Please re-save your map & re-upload with corrected icons if you think they look wrong!
Bugfix: System tray notifications disabled on Steam as they can cause problems during updates or uninstalls.
Bugfix Crashes: the game could crash when joining a LAN game using an older version of a map due to resources missing. The game informs now to update the map.
Hello. This is a bit of a mixed bag content update with a new weapon, couple of interesting consumables and an elite challenge mission. In case I don't have a chance to drop another update this year, have a happy festive season everyone!
General
New melee weapon: Pencil - A very sharp writing instrument
New consumable: Rabbit - Runs towards aimed direction and attracts enemies after it
New consumable - Protective Dome: Create a dome that keeps everything on the outside
New mission: Elite challenge - Duel with elites that you've managed to anger
New enemy type that can jump/dash - Both normal and Elite versions
Removed mini-boss event that occurred halfway through the game on normal maps
Final boss now randomly alters its special attack and indicates it
Elites will explode when dying creating damage around the area
Non-elite fireballs are smaller, slower and less powerful
You can close the level up screen with ESC when you're on the last screen (weapon upgrades)
Added another level to Magnetism power-up
Added a cloud graphic to Acid Rain projectile
Added a Deselect All button to Power-ups screen
Increased all animal damage radiuses
Default icon size for new players is "Larger"
Bugs
Enemy damage and other messages should no longer overlap each other
Farmer did not target enemies accurately with the pitchfork swing

_________________________________________________________ The new version has added a new function: Weapon Fusion. Almost any weapon can be fused with another weapon (the current version does not support the fusion of melee weapons) Players can find the entrance to the fusion weapon in the workshop (the plot is open for 44 days) After weapon fusion, the weapons used as materials will disappear, and accessories based on material weapon properties will appear to fill the fusion slot of the original weapon (For example, if we combine kinetic weapons with shotgun weapons, kinetic weapons will have a scattering effect. If we combine ray with high explosive weapons, the ray may trigger an explosion effect. Of course, based on the type of material, the resulting effect will have a certain degree of randomness.)
At present, there are 51 combinations of fusion effects, totaling 189 accessories

Sightline introduced Precision Scoring to Aimlabs - a scoring system that grants you more points the closer you are to the center of the target! With Sandstorm, we've expanded upon our focus on precision-based Task mechanics, with 3 cool new features!
Breath Control
Commonly found in sniping games + a fundamental marksmanship skill, Breath Control mimics the natural sway from breaths when aiming down sights. Hold your breath to steady your shots and hit the bullseye!
Crosswind
Another key part of aiming at long ranges is compensating for wind before you take your shots. Crosswind recreates wind physics + weapon ballistics in Aimlabs, with directional wind shifting your bullet trajectory at various speeds/intensities. Adjust your sights accordingly to compensate for the crosswind and land your shots!
In-Task Shot Visualization
Score History lets you keep track of how many points your shots are worth. An extension of our Precision Scoring system, you can now quickly verify what shots granted you the most points based on their proximity to the bullseye, with the new Past Shots Display!
Shot History lets you see exactly how precise you were, for every shot you took. Easily view how close you were to the bullseye with the new Target Display!
