Not all things go to plan, especially in games development. Even with the blistering pace of work over the last 3 weeks, we're still a little behind on the release of the second chapter. On the upside, we've managed to eliminate all known bugs in the new mechanics, and catch quite a few unknown ones in the process! The bridge building tools have been playtested thoroughly, and have been reworked to be easier to understand and use. We have also been extensively playtesting the levels developed so far (about 19 levels), and tuning them so that they're difficult without being unfair.
We're sorry for the delay, but we're not going to release anything unfinished or untested, our respect for our audience extends to the quality of our gameplay, and we want you to feel that you're getting your time and money's worth. Not all is lost however, today's update is probably the last code change required for Chapter 2!
Our plan was to take a 2 week break after the 22nd to recharge over the Christmas break. Instead, we're going to finish this off over those 2 weeks and release Chapter 2: COLLAPSE on the 5th of January, and then we'll take a break! Don't feel too bad for me though, I honestly love the process of making games, it's been a fantastic year of triumphs in both Drift King and FUNG. Also we don't have any employees yet, so I'm only burning my own time off, I wouldn't dare force crunch upon anyone else.

The damage caused by Dragonlord of Destruction is now rounded down, that is, 1 Blood creature will no longer die after entering the arena.
Dimension Wyrm skills changed Original Skill: Each time you are about to take damage, if there is a hand, randomly discard a hand and nullify the damage. Modified: If Dimension Wyrm have cards in hand, reduce any damage it takes by 1.It will shuffle a random card to it's deck. After leveling up: At the start of it's turn, it draw an extra card.
In the adventure event "enter an inconspicuous temple", "Lose a random card (not visible)" is changed to "Lose a random card (visible)".
Heroes used in the last game will now be first in the selection of heroes
New update adds planetary outposts. They increase the production of materials and can be expanded at additional cost to increase the production further. Their construction is optional, but allow to reduce the number of collector needed and systems occupied. Each collector creates one outpost and maintains it. If it is destroyed or leaves the planet the outpost is destroyed too.
Additionally this update will be the first of a long-overdue game rebalance: - Storage ships base capacities will be increased. Materials storage increases to 8.4M, Gas Tanker to 3.8M and Energy Accumulator to 10.8M. The Shipyard storage capacities are reduced to 2.1M materials, 0.95M gas and 2.7M energy. - Reduce resources production rates by 50% on average. The same reduction applies to ships construction cost, research cost and the initial amount of resources after a New Game.

After December 31, 2023, Angel Flare will no longer be available for new purchases on Steam.
