THE CORRIDOR - freeze
This update adds the much requested option to invert the y-axis! Better late than never, I hope.

It's my first time using an updated version of Visual Studio so please do let me know if there are any weird build bugs I missed! 🙏


FIXES FOR POTENTIAL ISSUES YOU MAY ENCOUNTER:

- If you encounter a black screen please try resetting your save data by going to the Windows path "%localappdata%" and delete the folder called "THECORRIDOR".

- If you encounter a "missing executable" error please restart Steam and check for updates.

Project: Gorgon - Lemons
Happy holidays from Project: Gorgon! Today we celebrate the turning of the season, from bountiful autumn harvest to gift-giving extravaganza. In other words, we're finally done with Halloween - it's time for presents! If you've become Friends with any townsfolk in the game, they will have gifts for you the next time you speak with them. (Make sure to have your favorite combat skills active when you talk to them, in case their gift is a randomly-generated treasure item!)

The Ri-Shin event is also underway -- look for townsfolk wearing red santa hats (err Ri Shin Hats) for more information. There's one in each town or settlement.

In addition, we have a bunch of improvements, tweaks, bug fixes, etc.

Combat Changes/Fixes
  • Transforming into an animal no longer changes your active skills if one of them is already the appropriate animal skill. For example, changing into Deer while Bard and Priest are active will change one to Deer; changing into Deer while Bard and Deer are active won't change either.
  • High-level deer-summoning mods now summon the appropriate level deer.
  • Chemistry Staves now support Druid mods.
  • Fixed the mod "Finishing Blow causes your next attack to deal +X damage if it deals direct Psychic, Trauma, or Poison damage"; it now actually affects Trauma and Poison damage, and the Psychic damage is reduced to what it should be.
  • Fixed the mod "If Finishing Blow or Decapitate kills its target, you gain +X% direct damage for 15 seconds".
  • Fixed a bug causing lower-level enchantments to be transmuted for Weather Witching and Druid.
  • Increased healing amount of Healing Mist 10 (110->120).
  • Changed James Eltibule's Sword damage boost from 0.1 back to 17.
  • Nissim no longer teaches Debilitating Blow 4 - it was only getting in the way of his Psychology lessons, after all.
  • We're still not sure what could cause players to not retain the repeating aktaari quest, but added a backup system that will reapply the quest whenever players are in the Aktaari lobby area.
  • Revised a certain boss encounter a bit. Should be a piece of cake now :) :) :)
UI Changes/Fixes
  • You can now view item levels and rarities overlaid on the item icons in your inventory. Toggle this view by clicking the "Show item rarities & levels" button in the inventory window, next to the "Show Equipped Items" button.
  • Important monster buffs, such as Damage Reflection, now show up first in the list of Active Effects on the target.
  • The Damage Reflection buff on monsters now has a unique icon.
  • Fixed icons for Fire Magic unlocks at Sand Seer & Bendith.
  • Added "(or better)" to the arrow requirements of some Archery abilities.
  • Dropping an item onto another in inventory or storage now always puts that item in the dropped slot, never the slot before it.
  • Acid Sigil icon is now green.
  • Your current equipment now has a yellow border in the compare-item view, to make it more obvious.
Other Changes/Fixes
  • Fixed a bunch of level 90 crafting recipes that had placeholder material ingredients.
  • You can now raise Textile Creation to level 70 via trainer spheres beneath Povus.
  • Some corrected item-creation recipes now require Enhanced Yarn; you can learn the recipe from the same trainer sphere in Povus.
  • Fixed some items that would let you learn their recipe but not their ability, thereafter breaking the item for the original learner. (We're still working on a way to fix those characters already affected by the issue and will have something in the next update.)
  • Cosmetic pets now stay alive when you switch areas or log off (so you don't need to resummon them).
  • When you have a cosmetic pet active and summon a different pet, the first pet is automatically dispelled (rather than making you dispel it manually first).
  • Updated directions for getting to the Sacred Grotto.
  • Removed an extraneous warning sign from Serbule Hills.
  • New JSON file is available on the cdn (at https://cdn.projectgorgon.com/), called tsysprofiles.json. See the updated index page for more information.
  • Updated JSON file: tsysclientinfo.json now includes the internal names of each tsys power, so they can be mapped with the new profile JSON file.

thanks for bearing with me here, nearing the end of prestige combinations, may try to add some other stuff though


  • new prestige class, Blood-drinker, Blood + Life, bonus healing, deal blood damage on attack based on target's max life, heal for all blood damage dealt, becomes vulnerable to fire
  • new prestige class, Bolga, Death + Lightning, deal lightning + death damage and apply charge on kill, gain armor per stack of charge on self
  • new prestige class, Worm-born, Death + Life, summon Crawlers on entrance / being attacked, gain +50% Hit and block for each summoned ally
  • Flame Knight now gains +30 armor per stack of inflame
  • Robe of the wind grants +10 speed to self
  • Swift Blade grants +20 speed to self
  • Dream application from Dreamer on enemies now correctly happens after Dream removal
  • first application of Paralysis now sets the target's "inertia" to 0 (create a feeling of initial stoppage before reducing their speed)
  • Bloodrage now heals 5 on hit

Introducing Hoot & Seek
Round up your flock of friends (2-5 players) and embark into a game of Hoot and Seek! As the Owl, you'll be able to blend in seamlessly with the crowd. But beware, those pesky Snipers and Spotters are on a mission to expose your feathery whereabouts!
Game Mode Description
The Owl must blend in with NPCs to complete tasks to win the game. Spotters and Snipers work together to identify and kill the Owl to win.
Roles
Sniper
Snipers are the only ones that can shoot the Owl, and rely on information from the Spotters to find their target.
Abilities
  • Targeting: Enter targeting mode. Temporarily stop moving and control the crosshair to search for the Owl.
  • Exit targeting mode.
  • Shoot: Snipers can shoot to kill the Owl. Make sure not to shoot randomly, as any incorrect kill will reward tasks to the Owl and reveal the Sniper's location on the map.
Spotter
Spotters help the Snipers to locate the Owl, but be aware that the Owl can also hear all communication.
Abilities
  • Scan: Scan an area for the Owl's presence. A green circle will show if the Owl is in proximity, and a red circle if they are not.
Owl
The Owl is visually indistinguishable from the NPCs in the game. They win by stealthily completing tasks and avoiding detection from the Snipers and Spotters.
Abilities
  • Disguise: Select a target to disguise as. Can disguise itself by first selecting another player's appearance.
  • Transform: Transform into your selected target.
  • Pickpocket: The Owl can pickpocket Snipers to complete several tasks at once and to reduce the cooldown of their abilities.
  • Blackout: Temporarily reduce the vision of all other players and move faster.
  • Super Reset: Randomize the cosmetics and positions of all players. It has a very high cooldown, so make sure to only use it in case of emergency.
Role Updates
  • Demolitionist (Duck): Bomb is now passed automatically by proximity, no longer passed by action button.
  • Party (Duck): Partied players now display an icon next to their name during game play. Only revealed to the Party (Duck).
  • Silencer (Duck): Silenced players now display an icon next to their name during game play. Only revealed to the Silencer (Duck).
  • Pigeon (Neutral): Infected geese now show an infected icon next to their names, to help keep track of the infected. Only revealed to the Pigeon.
  • Astral (Goose): Now togglable into Astral form, and has infinite time.
Quickplay
  • Hoot & Seek has been added to Quickplay.
  • Select game mode tabs have been merged.
Voice Chat
With the last voice chat update we aimed to improve voice chat for everyone, although the quality was better, it led to less accessibility. We've been looking at ways to mitigate this problem and have implemented changes that should solve the problem for most users. We are still working actively and diligently alongside our third-party providers to find a solution. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work through this with these updates.

Bug Fixes
  • Role Tutorial now has Drone (Duck)
  • Shaders have been substituted and optimized for Mobile devices.
  • Ancient Sands: Mummy pathing improved.
  • Ancient Sands: Sabotage music has been fixed to no longer play through meetings and ends after meeting.
  • Tastes Like Chicken: Identity thief is now correctly changing feather color upon downing players.
  • Engineer (Goose): When Engineer is killed in a hiding spot, the ghosts no longer appear on map.
  • Improvement to button navigation on controllers.

The Curse of Gravehollow Peaks DLC was originally posted to itchio and made for the 2021 Winter VN Jam, a casual game jam where we worked on a game in under two months. Since then, we've added new endings and choices, and have even polished the game with new artwork over the years. This is the first time the game is launching on Steam!
