The Holo-Day Weekend takes place from December 15th to December 18th, so just make sure to pop into the game during that time to grab your potions. Once you've got them, they're yours to keep until you use them.
Here are the details:
Everyone gets three Holo Hunter Potions
Each potion will increase Holo chances to 10%, but they don't stack
Each potion applies to the encounter, not the individual Spirits â which means you can get up to three Holo Spirits in one encounter
The potion wears off when you tame a Holo, or when the day ends, whichever comes first
Once you have the potion, you keep it until you use it, even after the event is over
DLC and WINTER UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT It wouldn't be the gifting season without... gifts, would it? And boy, do we have them, in the form of... our new DLC! This seasonal bundle includes a GIGANTIC Snowman House, two snowmen (Snowmelia and Frostopher, who are best friends), a decorative snowboard, a fuzzy rug, and five different icicles to frost up your life.
The DLC will cost $3.99 with a 15% launch discount for one week!
But wait, there's more! We're also giving a free update to everyone, which includes even more goodies! So many, in fact, that I need to make a bullet point list:
Gingerbread House
Gingerbread Boi and a Gingerbread Lass
Firepit
Three varieties of Presents
Roast Dinner
Candy Cane Archway
Snowflake Garlands
Snowglobe
Poinsettia Plant
It's gonna be FESTIVE up in here.
We also have some really cool new features coming to the game:
Store up to 300 Spirits at the Science Center (no Barn required!)
A new Warp Totem which serves as a fast-travel point to wherever you place it
Even Bigger Barn (twice the size as the current biggest)
Five new Spirits!!!!
And the INFINIDUNGEON (Infinite floors. Level cap removed. Good luck.)
And that's only the beginning. I haven't even told you specifics, like what the new Spirits are, or where the Infinidungeon can be found. Heheheh.
Keep your eyes open, because I may be teasing some of this on our Twitter and Discord!
Patch! Notes! 11!!!!! YEAH!!!
There was a bug that totally broke the Earth Temple's ladder plant if you used fertilizer on it! We fixed it... but, uh, we did hope that people would use the Alchemist's Wand on it, not try to grow it the slow way. We get it! The temple is exciting so it's easy to forget the cool item you just picked up đ
Shocking news: Apparently the very first letter that you get in the game... was never delivered. We blame Moonstone Island's Postal Service (which is run by Zed in his spare time). It should be in your mailbox now!
Do you have a ton of custom wallpaper and floor tiles? And is your game lagging like crazy? Ooooops. It should be better now!
Y'all found another exploit â if you clicked your mouse and pressed E at the same time while scything crops, you could get double the seeds. We're really sorry but we had to patch it out!
Spirits will now tell you if they've already been fed and/or brushed that day in a little bubble above their heads. You can totally pet them as many times as you like anyway, but at least you don't have to.
The Hot Spring: Now on Steam! I mean, wait. Hot Spring now *has* steam. Like, steam particles. Yeah.
Dark Matter was appearing in chests, and it's not supposed to. I mean, it's Spirit Poop. Did they poop in the chest? How? Why??? Anyway, it doesn't appear in chests anymore.
"Dress your Fishbo warmly," says @MessyZandrewbert. But does a Fishbo globe wear a scarf like this, or like this?
A couple weeks ago I asked for non-traditional fan art, and boy did y'all deliver. Check out this adorable Lookachoo keycap from delialalala!
That was Mr Morris singing a rather beautiful cat rendition of "O Holy Night". Except, well, in cat-language, the lyrics are very different. They're mostly about kibble.
We hope you have a wonderful holiday, and we'll see you next week for the big release!

"Land of the Eclipse" DLC Detailed Overview:
Exotic Wayfarer: Gifts from Beyond the Desert
As tribal wars reach a stalemate, exotic merchants seize the opportunity, bringing caravans laden with goods to the Golden Market. They exchange goods for precious resources and introduce unique clothes and jewelry, offering a touch of exotic flair.
Upon entering the game, receive the "Mirror Bead," allowing on-the-fly character reshaping.
Eclipse Hive: Formidable Enemies and Legendary Equipment
In the vast desert, a group of adventurers daily hunts monsters in the fearsome Land of Eclipse. These seasoned individuals challenge formidable enemies for the treasures they guard. With the new DLC, obtain âEclipse Cluesâ from exploring dungeons to get a chance to challenge the bosses. High-difficulty dungeons will reward more clues.
After obtaining the clues, go search around the major cities to look for the "Mastigure Adventurer" to submit them. For example, you will find one at the southeast of Frost Valley, in the Zagros Mountains.
As the precious "Intel" surfaces with the traces hidden in concealed clues, accumulating ten clues allows us to obtain the location details of the Boss from the Mastigure Adventurer.
Subsequently, at the same location, delivering the "Intel" to the Mastigure Adventurer enables an immediate Boss challenge. Remember to exercise caution with these formidable creatures, significantly more powerful than past foes. Unlike before, in the Land of Eclipse, we can battle the Bosses with a certain number of troops.
After defeating the Boss, be sure not to forget to pick up your loot on the ground. Once you've collected the loot, you can return to the entrance of the Land of Eclipse, where a flag inserted into the ground will appear. Clicking on the flag allows you to exit the Land of Eclipse.
In the Eclipse Hive, there are a total of 36 legendary equipment pieces to acquire, with 24 regional Bosses available for challenges.
Siege and Conquest: The Final Barrier to Defend Territories
Advancements in engineering lead to the construction of city walls, providing towns with a significant advantage against incoming foes. Now, archers can unabashedly hide behind these walls, unleashing arrows upon adversaries. Towns everywhere will boast city walls to defend against incoming threats!
City walls provide stationed units with additional attack range and damage resistance. Moreover, once the first and second defense lines are breached, the gates will close, preventing enemies from directly entering the stronghold.
As previously announced, we've crafted wall models for the six major factions and the Fire Demon faction. Engage in siege battles in the game to fully experience this aspect.
Known Issues
From previous tests, most issues have been resolved, with two exceptions to be fixed in the update soon after the DLC release:
The Redstone Valley dungeon, "Giant Lava Cave" does not drop Eclipse Clues.
In some cases, effects that increase attack speed become negative.
Feel free to join our official Discord for discussions and assistance. Experienced players share insights, and the "Feedback" channel provides one-on-one communication for issue resolution.
Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you thoroughly enjoy the new content in the âLand of the Eclipseâ DLC!

Letâs dive in.đč
In the Works
The Crystalcaster
Our amazing artist continued working on a new type of Crystallisk that we briefly covered in our previous Dev log. The Crystalcasters are masters of ranged combat and will attack from a distance, using energy projectiles, also known as the ââspitting onesââ by the gladiators. Here you can see the progress from sketch to actual sprite made by our talented artist. We canât wait to add it to the game!
Improvements
The Sanctuary
Behind the scenes we started working on a brand new area youâll encounter in the game called The Sanctuary. In this area youâll be able to select different characters to play as, as well as pick your weapon and ability of choice. Additionally, youâll be able to permanently upgrade your favorite weapons and abilities here using your hard earned Crystallum at the giant forge. We wonât disclose too much just yet as we want to surprise you with whatâs coming. Stay tuned for more information about The Sanctuary!
Updates
HUD overhaul
Weâre finally done with overhauling the HUD and implementing all the features. The HUD is now bottom centric and all the important information is visible at a glance. Some new elements have been added to display your progress to achieve Overkill Time as well as the power boosts gained during.
From Health Bar to Lives
We decided to change the way your player health is managed as we think this will create a more engaging and clear experience. While it used to be a health bar, which made it less clear to how much health you had left, we now switched the system around and went with lives instead. This way you can easily see how many lives you have left allowing you to focus more on the game itself!
Depleting Not Filling
The crystalâs stability gauge now depletes instead of filling up as this makes more sense to convey that the crystal is losing stability over time.
Burrow Counter
Weâve included a burrow counter that displays how many burrows youâve destroyed and how many burrows there are in total. This makes it easier to check your progress during the wave.
Weapon & Ability Cooldown
Both the weapon and the ability cooldowns are now clearly visible on the HUD, making it a lot more intuitive.
Audio System Overhaul
Weâre in the process of converting our old audio system, which was starting to show its flaws by now, to the new system using FMOD Studio. This allows us to implement adaptive soundtracks, scaling sound effects, audio balancing, and so much more⊠Overhauling the audio system was nothing short of a daunting undertaking as it meant we had to unlink a lot of our systems and triggers to implement the new FMOD events. With the new system in place, our audio engineer could now focus on setting all the effects and soundtracks up creating an amazing atmosphere while doing so.
Additional Soundtracks
With the new overhaul of our audio system also came new soundtracks! Our audio engineer immediately went to work and made full use of the power of FMOD by implementing a system that scales the intensity of the soundtracks as you progress through the waves. Additionally, we also added some new soundtracks made by our lovely artist Andrew Dunne for the shop area and during Overkill Time.
Overkill Time
In our previous Dev log we introduced a new mechanic called Overkill Time. After gathering all of the feedback of our community we iterated and improved on the idea to ensure it felt right. The more you crush your foes the more you revel in the power by racking up a power enhancing boost that will last even after exiting Overkill Time.
Fullscreen Overlays
To enhance your experience weâve added several fullscreen overlays during certain events. We think this will help you to detect if a certain event is triggered like for example being low health or when the crystal is about to overload.
Fracturion
We reduced the amount of armor Fracturion has making him easier to kill and more interesting to invest in high damage upgrades.
New & Improved Upgrades
With this update we bring 2 new upgrades and an updated version of the Stormbringerâs Fury upgrade! The 2 new upgrades are all about drones and making them stronger while the updated Stormbringerâs Fury is even more devastating.
Hive Mind - NEW
Summon a pack of drones that will lock-on targets and launch themselves towards the target to destroy them. Each stack, up to a maximum of 10 stacks, increases the damages of each drone and the number of drones you can have active.
Tinkerer - NEW
Each stack increases the damage of all your drones by 20%.
Stormbringerâs Fury - UPDATED
The new update brings even more mayhem as you now truly become a god of thunder! The lightning summoned by Stormbringerâs Fury will now strike multiple targets summoning a multitude of lightning bolts.
Fixes
Misaligned hitboxes
The hitboxes of several things have been made more accurate
Fracturion attacks having too large of a hitbox
Burrows not displaying correct damage state
Dashing through walls
Crystallisk keep attacking/dealing damage even after death
Audio playing too loud
Known Issues
Soundtracks not fading into each other nicely
Fracturion not being able to charge into the top wall
Upgrades not affecting other upgrades and only affecting weapon
Damage upgrade not increasing the damage of other upgrades
Critical hit damage not applying to other upgrades
Upgrades not being able to critical hit
The overkill bar in the HUD can start shaking after going into overkill and
immediately going out again through getting hit
Audio becomes louder when hitting Fracturion repeatedly
Can you believe we're in the last month of the year!? Where has time gone...
In the spirit of the holidays, Louis Durrant and Fern will draw ugly holiday couture for the garden's residents in a livestream taking place on December 12 at 10 AM EST / 3 PM GMT / 4 PM CET.
The Chronicles of Ezra Blackwell: Episode 1, Pappi's Peril - tips4490
The game has a release date, January 14th, 2024!
After multiple tests and reports from players, the game has had a few updates and now has an official release date!
Reports have been made that the entity pictured in the trailers does not match the over-all "art-style" of the game. This was also true with a few other NPC-type entities in the game so I have started to replace these with models that match more with the environment art-style.
Included in the post is a screenshot of the replacement deer model.
I added a super awesome and cool, fully-voiced, intro. All dialogue is fully voiced and more is being added as I am typing!
Added navigation beacon and blocking volumes to limit movement and introduce important locations!
