The game hasn't been patched for 3 months since it was released. Because there were so many bugs and feedback.
It seems that the users' expectations were as high as my expectations for the game. However, it seems that it did not meet the expectations. So I worked harder! It's lacking, but so that it becomes less lacking!
In the meantime, users have given us a lot of feedback, including an unreadable GUI, uncomfortable controls, poor storyline, somewhat odd game progression, unpleasant experience, lack of sound, and loss of purpose. In fact, everything was true so I had nothing to say. There were so many shortcomings, perhaps because we just wanted to release it quickly and released a game with poor quality. Nevertheless, we worked hard to patch it to show an even better version. I think the most important thing is to be able to show and prove that things are changing little by little, even if everyone doesn't like it. Thank you again.ㅠㅠㅠ
This patch did our best to make the game more like a game. Although the sound patch was missing this time, we tried to improve the visual aspect of the game as much as possible, and made it possible to achieve in-game goals such as 'Quest' and 'Monster Dictionary'.
I focused on motivating myself.

[One. Bug fix]
1_1. Fixed an issue where Retracy quest status could not be updated.
1_2. [Deep Forest] [Someone's Rest] Fixed an issue where items were created in places where the
player could not move.

1_3. Fixed an issue where the UI priority was not given the highest priority when the UI displaying the
acquired items was displayed.

1_4. When closing the inventory UI, the item information UI is also closed. Fixed an issue where the
scrolling of the item information UI was not initialized at this time.

1_5. Fixed an issue where gift box type obtainable item information was displayed even after
reopening the store UI.
1_6. Fixed an issue where equipment item set effects in the store UI were not displayed properly.

1_13. Fixed an issue where stats such as current stamina and current mana were not applied properly
when changing items.

3) Change the equipment items back to their original state.

This is hopefully the last patch for a little bit as I plan to switch to developing the Next major version change, The Major release is either going to be over Christmas or just after. I Intend on keeping compatibility with currently played maps, However at worst users will be able to switch to previous versions or the game to open older maps.

Way of the Hunter - [NRG] Michal
Update 1.24.3 is now live on the Development branch on Steam, adding new rifle scopes from Bushnell, trophy variations for mule deer, melanistic barren-ground caribou, and much, much more to Way of the Hunter.

We will push this update to the stable version on Steam, as well as EGS, GOG, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S as soon as we have confirmed that it is, indeed, stable.

Welcome to another blog post. This month we’ve spent a lot of time tweaking and balancing our game economy. So with that fresh in our heads it felt like a good time to give a little bit of context around what that means in Star Trucker…

A Fair Day’s Pay
The biggest question that lies at the heart of the game economy is “How much should the player get for finishing a delivery?” It seems like a simple question on the face of it but we’ll quickly fall down a rabbit hole if we’re not careful.

The payout for a job should ideally cover the costs of fuel and wear and tear, but perhaps only just. In Star Trucker, the truckers operate on tight budgets and money should feel like it’s been hard-earned.



Job Satisfaction
The job boards in Star Trucker will have a constantly-changing list of jobs on offer. Which job the player takes will greatly affect their money-earning potential.

For starters, the distance the player needs to haul will affect the payout but also the nature of the cargo e.g. fragile, perishable, heavy, temperature sensitive etc.

This will be a risk / reward calculation for the player. Not one to be taken lightly! In some cases taking an unprofitable job might be sensible if it partially pays for you to reach a sector with better paying jobs.



Skills To Pay The Bills
The player will also earn experience for completing jobs and this can be used to unlock new certifications in the skill tree.

Certifications open up new job types (the aforementioned fragile, heavy etc.) and unlock a suitable trailer for the cargo. These jobs are generally more difficult but pay better. On top of that certifications will also apply bonuses to related job types.

Find a job that is both fragile and long distance and you will get a bonus for both categories, meaning clever players can take jobs with multiple difficulty aspects and earn money much more quickly.



Are We Nearly There Yet?
Balancing this economy would be a challenge in a purely stats-based game but Star Trucker is also a physics simulation with a lot of player agency. Both the player’s driving skill and chosen route will affect profitability. Would you risk taking a trailer of frozen goods through a hot sector if it meant earning an early delivery bonus?

And that’s if everything goes to plan! Things can go south quickly in Star Trucker. If you haven’t checked your core power cells during a pre-flight then that’s going to be a nasty surprise when they run out. Imagine approaching a depo at cruising speed and your truck controls stop working! A job that was profitable on paper has suddenly cost you thousands in fines and repairs.

So with all that in mind - “How much should the player get for finishing a delivery?” - Well, you’ll have to wait a little longer to find out as we continue to tweak and refine the economy until Star Trucker releases next year!

recently we've put additional effort to gather as much feedback from you as we can.
All of your insights are invaluable for further actions with our game, and we cannot stress enough how much it mean to us.

We've received a lot of arguments regarding the adjustment of the base price for Argentina and Turkey regions.
Previously, the price for those countries was the same as for e.g. United States.

We are aware that economic conditions are not comparable to those in the U.S. and some other countries, and to make our game more accessible for Turkish and Argentinian players, we decided to reduce it by 18%!

The price is now set to 20.99$ instead of 24.99$

BUILDER MODE
Build your settlement and experience These Doomed Isles without the threat of invasions or triggering events in this passive new game mode.

SANDBOX MODE
Create the ultimate utopia in Sandbox Mode, where cards and buildings are completely free to buy and build. Followers won't starve or leave due to unhappiness, and you won’t face invasions or trigger events.

CUSTOM MODE
Customise each run, test new strategies, modify each gameplay variable and play the way you want in the new Custom Mode.
