How's it going? Ready for the end of the year celebrations? Hopefully, you'll be able to make some room to enjoy VoidBound's latest update as well, which is due out soon! In-fact we're so close, we'll quickly walk you through the latest Progress Report before we dive back right back into it.

Lets start, with the art~

CG work on the second Bounty Hunt was concluded this week, bringing an end to all the art related tasks revolving around this patch. With this, both Bounty Hunt scenarios are finalized, and yes both of them include some incredibly done animated scenes!

Additionally, miscellaneous game assets like weaponry, accessories, and clothes were finished off as well. That includes some pretty new gadgets and snazzy threads for both our heroine and the bad guys!


Woah... that hook style! Geneva Convention would like to have a word with the owner.


Either everyone is under-dressed, or this guy is over-dressed.

Now that the text work is complete, both Bounty Hunts have been turned over for insertion and in-game deployment. Dependent on Caly's choice, this can play out multiple ways, so a need for being extra judicious with testing the branching system is important. But that is mostly the task of the internal tester.

The writers though, are not standing idle and have already changed gears working on improving and tweaking the introduction of Tripteen. We mentioned this a while back but, there is a rework coming for the first planet and a creative push to add additional short quests and memorable story moments to Henosis via mini quests, is in the works.

More on that in the future though. For now, the code!

Final patch programming work has begun and should be near conclusion by the time this post goes up. This update should contain an estimated 14000 words of text, an array of visuals, multiple soundtracks, and more. Everything central to the patch is being converted into code while new minor features like dialogue character fade, Quest Log triggers etc. are being inserted as well.

More details on these will be provided in the Change-log post that will be available to read at the time of release. But, before we commit the new features on paper however, internal testing is in full swing to check everything is in working order. Even though we're at the end of the line, we still hope to take down any bugs and areas to fix before the patch release.

Welcome to Farm renovator devlog 😀.

I know you couldn't wait to find out what's new on our farm, without further ado I invite you to review the new features! 😀

To begin with - if you thought that vegetation will grow only around the farm you were wrong, the entire map on which the player will move will have lush and dense vegetation : )



And what if our yard becomes overgrown with grass? All is not lost yet, our intrepid lawnmower will cut it all :D



However, if you prefer to rely on the strength of your own muscles, we have a tool designed specifically for you - the scythe.



The farm will have its own store where we can sell our crops. However, before we can start selling in the store, we need to restore it to working order. One of the steps will be to repair the store shelves - how do you like it?

Those pesky infection nest!
We're in the process of creating a new building to stop those pesky infection nests from spawning those leeches and thorns out onto your rooftop but don't worry, the dome will help contain while collecting resources.


UI updates for the gamepad
We're updating and re-designing our UI as part of our work on gamepad to make it more consistent and user-friendly 🎮


Add a splash of color to your rooftop
Soon you'll be able to repaint your buildings with spray paint cans made from slime and a few other ingredients.


More furniture options!
Want to sleep somewhere else instead of the deck chair? No problem, we're going to be adding a new way for you to get some more shuteye as well as new furniture options too



Our new female character in-game!
We can't wait to bring the new female character option into I Am Future, here is a new look at how she's looking so far in-game.

Hello players,

Thank you for the constant support, much appreciated!

Looking into game data and comments from players, I've decided to add a phase during combat where you can play Actions and activate Abilities after declaring attackers/blockers, but just before damage. This allows you to have some combat trick at the ready.

Also, this release is in preparation to releasing the new card set. The release date will be set around Christmas if all goes well. Take this time to hoard all the current cards! Once the new set is out, the current set supply will be locked and never printed again, and the marketplace will open for those items.

Changes:
  • Added a video option for AMD FSR2 + implementation & default settings:
    We have added support for AMD’s FSR2 to our game which can be found at the bottom of the video options in the options menu.
    FSR2 works by intelligently upscaling lower resolution frames to higher resolution ones, while preserving and enhancing the details and sharpness of the original image.

    We recommend using FSR2 only with 4K and 2K resolutions, as these are the optimal settings for this technology. Using FSR2 with lower resolutions may result in blurry or pixelated images, as the upscaling process may not have enough information to work with. If you are using a lower resolution monitor or device, you may want to keep FSR2 disabled & use the native resolution of your screen.
    Each mode has a different performance boost and a different image quality. FSR2 can help you increase your FPS and reduce your GPU usage, depending on your hardware, resolution, and scene complexity. However, FSR2 only works on GPU-bound scenarios, and it has some limitations and trade-offs.

  • Added/updated POI (Kriel, RAV, Colonists, Talon'Ar; Thx to Don2k7, Stellar_Titan, Escarli, Matcz)
  • Added new 'City Ruins' POI (by sulusdacor)

Hello Heisters,

Today’s update deals with a number of bugs and quality of life updates. Among the more noticeable is a change in how the game handles any damage over time effects.

The thing we really wanted to bring up in this message however, is that we’ve also bundled a lot of our licensed content in the game into one DLC. We did this in order to ensure you’ll always keep access to the content regardless of any future changes.
We’ll make sure to announce ahead of time when/if anything changes, we didn’t want you to worry when you spotted the DLC.

This also means we’ve moved around a few of the requirements of some achievements, again, this won’t affect those who already have them.

Edit: To be clear, won't necessarily see this DLC in any list on Steam. It'll be in the background and appear on Steam data basing websites.
