Thanks for playing the Erenshor Demo! There was a pretty substantial bug that resulted in SimPlayer save data being wiped on a regular basis for some users. That should be addressed now. I sincerely apologize for any lost playtime anyone has encountered.
This Demo will continue to be updated to represent the current 'alpha' build of the game. I'll continue to pass QOL features and some new content to players as its created.

Buffs are no longer a thing! There is a new "Aura" vendor on the docks of Stowaway's Step.
Auras are permanent buffs that you can equip to your Aura Slot (in the stats window) that will be shared with your party. No more waiting for the party to buff before you can proceed.
You can give Aura Gems to your SimPlayer friends too.

Bug Fixes
SimPlayer inventories were getting wiped upon save. That bug should be fixed.
We’ve been testing and experimenting with different mechanics for Boss Fighting and we’re confident we’ve got something that is both satisfying and fits the Office Fight sense of humour.
We’ll be updating the free Beta with the first boss, Karon, for player feedback and how to best approach the release of our future bossy additions. Bosses will all have their own unique moves and mechanics so we would love to see everyone give it a whirl once Karon arrives!
Here's a snip of gameplay for how boss fights will work within the game. Everything is very much a work in progress!
Upcoming floors and mechanics
In addition to the boss fights, we’ve been experimenting with different shapes and sizes in regards to individual rooms. They’ll include new mechanics placed around the room such as rolling carts and environmental hazards, so we recommend exploring the many different ways of taking out your fellow employees when the full game releases.
As you progress through the floors, the complexity will increase but we plan for this to purely drive player exploration and not puzzle difficulty. We want any player to be able to just pick up and play, without wrangling their head too much about how to solve puzzles. At the same time, we want to reward players who seek more of a challenge to really find those ideal shot lines and maximise their score!
That's all from us for now! We hope everyone continues enjoying the game!

Hey folks! We're Noobzilla, a couple creating a cat-themed game.
Welcome to Cats & Seek!
This game is our chill project after months of tinkering with another cat game. While exploring cat games, we stumbled upon cool stuff like Hidden Cats series, Cats Hidden series, Full of Cats series, 100 Hidden series, you name it. Tried them out, loved the simplicity, short playtime, and loads of fun.
So, we thought, why not give it a whirl and spice up the hidden cat game scene on Steam?
Turns out, creating it was a blast and we hope it brings you some joy.
This is our debut on Steam, and we're excited to dive into the Steam and gamer community. We'd love your help, so drop your suggestions or feedback directly in the forum, and we'll be on it.
By the way, the game is set to launch on November 27 at 9 PM PST. Fingers crossed for a smooth release, and we can't wait for you to give it a spin!
A Choo Choo Engineer found a bug where upon pressing the Try Again button all of their progress was deleted. Luckily they were a new player to the game and I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else. I made a minor edit to the code that delays a few lines of code where I have to read data from the save file after having accessed the save file to write data to the file (this is all called when the player loses a game). I think by adding the delay in reading data from the save file it will greatly reduce the likelihood of save file data being deleted. I think some aspects of code are dependent on computer hardware and most players including myself will never experience the bug.
Keep up the good work in reporting the bugs and sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if you experience problems and I'll try to figure them out and fix them.
