First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding! We are hard at work to not only fix and improve the game, but also add new content, and right now we are ready to present you hotfix #3. Another update will follow after it, but for now we offer to familiarize yourself with the current list of changes that includes fixes for certain in-game issues and balance adjustments.

Balance
  • "Machine Gun" Drone:
    Fixed the drone missing when firing.
  • Bat:
    Number of projectiles at Rank 10: 1 ⇒ 3.
    Physical damage at Rank 10: 20 ⇒ 23.
  • Shotgun:
    Number of projectiles: 8 ⇒ 12.
    Bullet spread angle increased x2.
  • Katana:
    Number of projectiles at Rank 10: 1 ⇒ 4.
  • Crossbow:
    Projectile size at Rank 10: 1 ⇒ 1,5.
  • Spear:
    Cooldown time: 2,7 ⇒ 2.
  • Shock Grenade
    Damage: 0.1 ⇒ 1.
  • Home Run:
    Damage: 60 ⇒ 50.
    Cooldown time: 3 ⇒ 3,3.
    Number of projectiles: 2 ⇒ 1.
  • One vs. All:
    Damage bonus: 5% ⇒ 1%.
  • Bankai:
    Corrected the in-game description: the chance to destroy all enemies with the third attack is 0.1% instead of 5%.
  • Ball Lightning
    Damage: 0.1 ⇒ 1.
  • Dragon Armor:
    Changed the incorrectly displayed stats at different ranks, up to Rank 10.

Optimization
  • Altered zombie wave spawning mechanics;
  • Changed the number of Zombie Scientists in the rings surrounding the player;
  • Refactored the collision system;
  • Disabled the rotation animation for the Bat and Shrapnel Grenade projectiles;
  • Simplified the Stun, Burn, Weakness, Home Run, Frag Grenade, and Molotov Cocktail effects;
  • Implemented minor changes to the way other effects are displayed;
  • Optimized grenade trajectory calculations and the sample collection requirement check;
  • Adjusted item picking area;
  • Increased item pickup distance. Samples will also no longer rotate around the character when activating the Super Magnet at low FPS.

Other fixes
  • Fixed a bug that allowed gaining multiple levels in the same skill at once instead of one;
  • Removed ambient objects from EVAC zones;
  • Reduced the exploding zombies' running speed;
  • Changed the way effects are displayed, preventing them from overlapping with the enemies and player character;
  • Fixed the gameplay not pausing when opening the chest window;
  • Fixed the display of the weapon and armor stat lists when improving them in the Workshop;
  • Fixed a bug that could still cause the reload speed bonus to exceed 100%. The minimum time between shots is now 0.4 sec.;
  • Fixed grenade puddles causing damage multiple times;
  • Fixed a bug that caused grenades to inflict damage not only at the point of impact, but also along the entire flight path;
  • Fixed a crash when destroying crates with the "Machine Gun" drone skill;
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the skill selection window from being displayed when gaining several levels in a row;
  • Fixed a mortar bug, which caused new effects to be spawn every time the skill is triggered, increasing system load;
  • Fixed certain skills dealing damage more times than intended.

  • Nerf Fury power: 1. the Fury effect vanishes 20 - 30 seconds (scaling with defense level) after the last damaging attack or immediately if you dequip a shield; 2. only boosts your damage if you take damage.
  • Add grace period to NPC/object interaction of a hair over 1/3rd a second (0.35 seconds to be exact). This means when you perform an action right before you stop moving using keyboard controls, the action will still go through.
  • Buff Summon Goo: 1. increments in 10% debuff now; 2. maxes at 50% speed reduction
  • Buff Bastiel's Gaze to also increase movement speed by 10% - 20% scaling with Faith level.
  • Add flaming feet effect to Bastiel's Gaze.
  • Update Chicken Politickin' minigame: 1. dialog now refers to the default keyboard controls; 2. damage is successfully dealt to chickens; 3. add a grace period when ending a dash and starting another to prevent failed dashes; 4. make minigame instanced.
  • Buff bash to deal damage based on strength of shield.
  • Overall fixes to attack cooldown & stunning mechanics. Before, Bash and Shockwave powers would reset cooldown upon being activated.
  • Fix Ghost Binder's protection spamming the log / proving less protection from new radial combat menu DPS stats tool tip.
  • Make target info static on screen around the radial combat menu.
  • Fix boat foam when boat gets hit (e.g., by Mn'thrw).
  • Bug fix: prevent player from losing stats until restarting the play session after running a few raids. This was caused by the raid party component assuming the identity of the stats component, then being removed.
  • Bug fix: Orlando keeps attacking foes.
  • Buff Isabelle fight after playtesting; 1. increased health to 100; 2. increased offensive stats to 20; 3. increased strength bonus and weapon style bonus to tier 15.
  • Shift crafting requirement of mooish leather and blue cotton down one crafting level to improve low-level gameplay and be consistent with higher-level crafting requirements.
  • Overall shift of archery weapons and magic weapons by one tier as well. For example, boomerangs are now made at level 1 and multiples of 10 instead of level 2, level 11, etc.
  • Categorize enchanted copper amulet and enchanted copper ring as copper metal to prevent Copper Skelementals from attacking.
  • Fix crash when values are missing from DPS tool tip in combat radial menu.
