BOOK OF HOURS - AK

This has spent the usual couple of weeks on the beta branch, and I have had ALMOST NO bug reports... but now that fewer people are playing the game my fear is that this is because it's had fewer eyeballs, not just because it's the most stable patch ever. It _is_ a very stable patch, but do hit us up at support@weatherfactory.biz if you run into problems.

Notes below - you'll probably be most interested in the bolded things.

* You can now order some goods through the post (if you don't have an order form, one will arrive inside a year)
* You can now label bookshelves
* Timers for workstations look a bit spiffier
* You can now zoom while moving the camera

* Crafting helper panel now also works for Determinations and Histories
* Histories page now includes the pre-ending text for your later referencing pleasure[/b]
* Tightened up zooming controls
* That annoying shelf in the Westcott Room is less annoying
* Game won't unexpectedly switch between fullscreen and windowed when you open options
* Notification windows now universally respect the timeout option in Settings
* HOTFIX: swoosh-to-house-threshold button no longer forces close zoom.
* HOTFIX: Deep Mandaic books can now be translated again (you wouldn't believe what caused this prob)
* HOTFIX: Bookshelf plaques sometimes didn't appear on load
* ...and one additional small, fun, hidden feature

There'll be at least one more patch before Christmas, with another small, fun, less hidden feature.

After that, the updates will keep coming, but at the pace of snowflakes rather than raindrops. As Lottie mentioned last time, we'll be shifting our focus to the first BOOK OF HOURS content expansion. I just spent three days in a quiet room on a shingle headland writing on cards and moving 'em around on the floor, so I know now what it'll be. We can't talk about that quite yet, but I can share this partial photo of

Age of Undead - Insane Dreamers
Today I wanted to propose an idea to you.

Since I'm a super fan of zombie games and lately I'm seeing that Vampire Survivors style games (2D/3D) are doing well, I had this thought:

"Why not try to propose to my Age of Undead friends a roguelike game in VS style, but in the world, more or less, of Age of Undead?"

The game would be about a group of soldiers (and then maybe even survivors) who have to face hordes of zombies, mutants and parasites.
Obviously it would be "Insane Dreamers style", i.e. with a myriad of air and ground support, lots of explosions, lots of tactics, etc.


What do you think?

I'm pitching the same idea to Home Wars players.

It's just a thought, I'll give you the floor :)

Hello, Generals!

Today I wanted to propose an idea to you.

Given that there are no longer "juicy" updates for HW in terms of actual content, and considering that the development of HW2 for a single developer like me requires at least 18 months of work (but unfortunately I don't have the possibility to dedicate that much time to it now), an idea came to mind.

Wandering around the Steam sales, I'm noticing how Vampire Survivors style games (2D/3D) are still selling well.
As a result, this thought came to me:
"Generally they are not long games to develop and are adaptable to almost all video game settings. I wonder if my friends would like to see a Home Wars version of Vampire Survivors?".

So I'm here to ask you: would you be interested in a 3D VS-style roguelike where a team of toy soldiers have to face hordes of insects?
The gameplay wouldn't have anything similar to HW1, but the setting and characters obviously would.


I'm pitching the same idea to Age of Undead players.

The current version of the game is relatively stable, and you can now start a new game without worrying about compatibility issues with old save files or crashes.

Optimizations and Modifications

1. Adjusted the UI of the main interface to a collapsible layout for better future expandability. (If you have any better suggestions, please leave a comment below and we will consider it.)

2. Fixed a series of bugs with automatic bounties.

3. Fixed the bug where custom hotkeys were not taking effect.

4. Fixed the bug where Frost Giant bloodline was missing advancement directions.

5. Fixed bugs where some bloodline material effects were incorrect.

6. Fixed bugs where some default buildings on maps adventurers would not go to.

7. Fixed the bug where secret tomes slots would be filled after rebirth.

8. Fixed the bug where puppetry skills would increase defense with each attack.

9. Optimized new player guidance text, which is now more concise.

Additionally, we have initiated a screenshot-sharing event on the Steam Community. We encourage players to share beautiful city images from the game for others to admire (and to provide us with promotional materials). To facilitate this, we have released a batch of new decorations. There are now nearly a hundred different appearance decorations available in the game, which can be obtained by spending technology points.
