Nekomancy needed some tlc and I learned a lot that could be applied from Wyrd Gun, so I made an update! The change was significant enough I created a beta branch for the version that has been up for the last year, you can access it in properties by typing the code "classicversion" in betas. Ill probably continue to work on other projects for a bit, but I will fix any bugs reported through the in-game bug reporter! Thanks for playing! You rule!
Patch 2.0.9 -fixed a rare error when spiking a roll -fixed a rare error caused by a Macho-slime being destroyed by a black hole -If 2 players hookshot each other at the same time, the ropes now detach entirely, instead of being mysteriously suspended in the air
BONUS: I just updated the demo to the latest version of the game. This means the demo now has all the new music & levels from the full game. Along with all the bug fixes.
Flow changes - Reworked the spell usage during Dream exploration. The regeneration is now very low, and a new spell 'Sheaf of fire' is a close quarter generator of ether. Some spells are earned as Thyria is leveling and some are granted with items, especially magic daggers and books.
New Features - Added a Recipe book to describe the current 20 crafting Recipes. - Added a new Euipment modifier: Soul guardian. Rollable on a certain equipment category (Armor). - New Ether of Nova spell. Destroys projectiles and deals damage. - New activable on/off spell Light. - New feedback UI on the status effects Thyria can have during dream exploration. - Updated Health icons in all scenes, and added feedback on current experience and level in dreams. - Reworked the patient UI in the Lab. Simplified important information such as Ghost multipliers and rewards. Categorized the risk levels of dream modifiers in 3; normal, dangerous and deadly. - Now possible to Mouse over on all interactable elements during Dream exploration. - Created 4 new Dream Layouts; including one with teleporters. Created new decorators to support small roaming islands around with additional rewards and point of interests. (Accessible only with 'Astral Shift'). - Added new point of interests, such as Torch and Fountains, which resets the Threat, or provide an exceptional ether regeneration.
Fixes - Exit button dream when succeeding a dream. - Fixed bridge physics blocking on the multi-islands layout. - Fixed input system issues that might lead in some scenarios to Leaks. - Dream quests are no longer failing resulting on landing on a dark map.
Usability - Ghosts are now highlighted on mouse over (if the Mother's necklace is not equipped). - Added a sorting for effects modifiers - Added a new camera zoom out-in before map start - The item level is not shown when 0, aligned level look across all items. - better placement of map help button - Thyria can now slot 5 spells - Uncover the Guardian scroll even when failing the 1st map.
