Hello, everyone!
In this update, we bring you the brand-new gameplay mode —— [Endless Journey] in the [Bizarre Dream]. After defeating the final boss of the [Hyperborean Jokul], you can choose to embark on an endless adventure, exploring the limits of the levels within a limited time. At the same time, this update also introduces three new weapons: [Revealer], [Dragon Breath] and [Storm Chaser]. We wish you all a great time playing!
Considering compatibility with the difficulty and pace of the battles, [Endless Journey] is currently only available from the level 9 of Reincarnation. There are still many aspects of [Endless Journey] that need improvement. If you encounter any unsatisfactory situations during your experience, we hope you can provide timely feedback, and we will continue to polish and optimize this gameplay mode in subsequent updates.

Stages
[Bizarre Dream]
Added a new option in [Bizarre Dream]:
  • Endless Journey (Only available in Reincarnation level 9): After defeating the final boss of [Hyperborean Jokul], players can choose to embark on an endless adventure, exploring the limits of the levels within a limited time.
In the [Endless Journey]:
  • Enemies will become stronger, and their DMG resistance will continuously increase.
  • The non-cursed scroll carrying limit is 60, and recycling scrolls can provide certain bonus enhancements.
  • The Golden Goblet has been corrupted by demonic energy and can only replace existing ascensions with new ones. Besides, players can recycle excessive golden goblets to obtain extra bonus effect.
  • The Peddler, Craftsman, and Spiritual Remnant appearances will be reduced, while the Phantom Peddler and Training Master will no longer appear.
  • The Vault will no longer open, and defeating non-boss enemies will no longer drop coins and essences.
  • A new countdown system is introduced, starting at 10 minutes, and completing levels will add a certain duration.
  • After the countdown ends, players can still challenge the current boss, but the portal to the next act will be permanently closed.
Adjustments to some tasks in [Mission from Above]:
  • Each time a weapon is used to achieve a defeat/assist, the time limit for the [Weapon Forge] series tasks will be refreshed.
New Stages:
  • [Longling Tomb], [Anxi Desert], and [Hyperborean Jokul] have added some Vaults and random routes.

Weapons
New weapons:
  • [Dragon Breath]

    Weapon type: Launcher
    Can it be dual-wielded: Yes
    Weapon description: Causes an explosion when hitting enemies. The weapon enters a charging state after firing.
    Weapon skill: Activating at a specific time will complete the charge early and make the next shot penetrate enemies.
    Exclusive Inscription: Each activation of the weapon increases the stack by 1 (up to 3 stacks, the stack is cleared if activation fails). At full stacks, the weapon's explosion count +1.
    Unlock method: Defeat [Flame Bomber] 20 times.
  • [Revealer]

    Weapon type: Rifle
    Can it be dual-wielded: Yes
    Weapon skill: Hitting enemies multiple times while aiming puts them in a vulnerable state: all weapon damage will trigger a critical hit.
    Exclusive Inscription 1: The more times the enemy's weak spot is hit, the stronger the effect of its vulnerable state.
    Exclusive Inscription 2: When hitting an enemy in a vulnerable state, +80% chance of a critical hit for this shot.
    Unlock method: Critically defeat [Desert Coyote] 15 times.
  • [Storm Chaser]

    Weapon type: Melee weapon
    Can it be dual-wielded: Yes
    Weapon description: Moving forward for a period of time will enter the "Accelerate" state: increase movement speed and weapon damage. Stopping forward, moving left or right, or moving backward will cause the "Accelerate" state to disappear.
    Exclusive Inscription: Maintaining the "Accelerate" state gradually increases the chance of a critical hit, up to 100%. Reset when exiting the "Accelerate" state.
    Unlock method: Defeat [Catfish Warrior] at close range 15 times.

Occult Scrolls
Effect adjustments:
  • [Blazing Hoop]
    Original effect: Every 10 seconds, cast a flame pulse around, dealing 200 Fire DMG to enemies, causing Burning Effect for 3 seconds.
    New effect: Every 6 seconds, cast a flame pulse around, dealing 350 Fire DMG to enemies and causing Burning Effect. For each awakening level, the damage increases by 50 points.
  • [Enhanced·Blazing Hoop]
    Original effect: Every 6 seconds or every time you deal Critical DMG to an enemy (1 second cooldown), release a flame pulse around, dealing 200 Fire DMG and causing Burning Effect for 3 seconds to enemies touched.
    New effect: Every 6 seconds or every time you deal Critical DMG to an enemy (1 second cooldown), release a flame pulse around, dealing 350 Fire DMG and causing Burning Effect to enemies. For each awakening level, the damage increases by 50 points.
  • [Realm of Corrosion]
    Original effect: Every 10 seconds, cast a corrosion pulse around, causing Decay Effect to enemies touched, lasting 5 seconds.
    New effect: Every 6 seconds, cast a corrosion pulse around, dealing 350 Corrosion DMG to enemies and causing Decay Effect. For each awakening level, the damage increases by 50 points.
  • [Enhanced·Realm of Corrosion]
    Original effect: Every 6 seconds or every time you deal Critical DMG to an enemy (1 second cooldown), release a corrosion pulse around, causing Decay Effect to enemies touched.
    New effect: Every 6 seconds or every time you deal Critical DMG to an enemy (1 second cooldown), release a corrosion flame pulse around, dealing 350 Corrosion DMG and causing Decay Effect to enemies. For each awakening level, the damage increases by 50 points.
  • [Magnetic Coil]
    Original effect: Every 10 seconds, cast an electromagnetic pulse around, causing a Shock Effect to enemies touched, lasting 6 seconds.
    New effect: Every 6 seconds, cast an electromagnetic pulse around, dealing 350 Lightning DMG to enemies and causing a Shock Effect. For each awakening level, the DMG increases by 50 points.
  • [Enhanced·Magnetic Coil]
    Original effect: Every 6 seconds or every time you deal Critical DMG to an enemy (1 second cooldown), release an electromagnetic pulse around, causing Shock Effect to enemies touched.
    New effect: Every 6 seconds or every time you deal Critical DMG to an enemy (1 second cooldown), release an electromagnetic pulse around, dealing 350 Lightning DMG and causing Shock Effect to enemies. For each awakening level, the DMG increases by 50 points.

Monster
  • Elite Mandrill Cavalry: Adjusted the time required for Elite Mutant Penguin to return to mounted status from 30 seconds to 60 seconds.

UI
  • Added a current weapon indicator to the team information panel.
  • Optimized the controller interaction experience for some interfaces.

System
  • Added the Offline Hosting Functionality for Teammates Leaving.
    Teammates leaving the game in the middle of the game will not reduce the difficulty of the game, but will automatically replenish robot teammates; the team leader can check this function on the pre-battle interface.

    P.S. The application scenario of robot teammates is currently limited to taking over teammates who leave; after the function is polished and stabilized, we may support players in adding robot teammates to team battles before the start.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the issues where [Perfect Sixth] would be stacked by non-shooting weapons skills such as [Radioactive Gauntlet] and [Lightning Blast].
  • Fixed the abnormal color of the explosion effect of [Glimmering].
  • Fixed the issue where [Glimmering], with the inscription "Return ammo to the magazine on miss" could not return ammo when the bullets did not hit.
  • Fixed the issue where electric orbs of [Thunder Storm] blocked other projectiles of weapons or skills.
  • Fixed the issue of Gemini inscription "(Gemini) weapon 1&2 share magazine capacity. Gain 1 stack every second while firing, and 2 stacks on hitting enemies. Reloading -50% the number of stacks. The max number of stacks is equal to the shared magazine capacity. Each stack +0.75% weapon damage" not changing the maximum stack with the shrinking magazine.
  • Fixed the issue where the inscription "+50% Elemental Effect Chance upon hitting an enemy. (Up to +500%, resets on a miss.)" would be reset by non-damage type weapon skills.
  • Fixed the issue where the [Aggressive Firepower] task and the scroll [Sabotaged Magazine] coexisted without promptly deducting the non-main weapon magazine quantity.
  • Fixed the issue that the [Last Stand] in [Ascension Fusion] could not be triggered through [Flesh and Bones].
  • Fixed the issue where the self-harm effect would cause the [Voltaic Aegis] stack to decrease.
  • Fixed the issue where [Xing Zhe] will draw the discarded exclusive inscription when having the [Ancient Etching] with [Thunder Storm] and [Justice] in hand.
  • Fixed the issue where [Xing Zhe], holding [Thunder Storm], showed the wrong weapon type in the main skill icon.
  • Fixed the issue that [Xing Zhe]'s Soul Strike and [Qian Sui]'s Tidal Aspis could not trigger [Elemental Magazine].
  • Fixed the issue with the temporary dash charges of Qian Sui's talent [Irrepressible Surge] being abnormally consumed.
  • Fixed the issue where [Zi Xiao] could not reset Occult Scrolls in certain situations.
  • Fixed the issue where the effects of the [Shrine of Recovery] would not disappear when removing the Occult Scroll during its activation.
  • Fixed the issue with the incorrect target selection for the talent [Enhanced · Thunder Step].
  • Fixed the issues in [Basement of Longling], [Anxi Desert], [Shoreside Valley], and [Snowy Fairyland] where in some locations items could not be picked up.
  • Fixed the issues in [Anxi Desert], [Duo Fjord], and [Hyperborean Jokul] where players could get stuck in multiple locations.

November 23rd Emergency Update Announcement
  • Fixed the issue where with only one human player remaining in the team, there was a chance that the UI for robot teammates would not be displayed.
  • Fixed the malfunctions of some interface controller shortcut buttons.
  • Fixed the issue where players cannot return to the previous room in the [Anxi Desert - Third Stage] under certain situation.
  • Fixed the issue where in some situations, the effects and damage of [Falling Star] disappeared after its release by [Zi Xiao].
  • Fixed the issue of damage loss caused by the Spiritual Ascension [Blooming Blade] in the Spiritual Assault.

Hello! I was working on an update! Various bug fixes, reworked how special projectiles move and added a new mushroom themed area with new monsters, abilities and objects.

Here's how it looks.

Innate Abilities
Added innate abilities. These are abilities that trigger when attacked, on death or every turn. Some of these abilities can only be found on a specific unit. Slimes splitting into smaller slimes when killed is a good example of an on death innate ability.


With the addition of innate abilities that happen every turn, projectiles that stop moving until the floor's turn now also move at the start of each battling unit's turn. This makes it more consistent and battles end faster.

Minor update focused on optimization, QoL and some bug fixing, changes:

  • Added stats window
  • Added optimization/advanced settings menu (numbers for minigames now need to be activated in this menu)
  • Fixed chest connection hitbox
  • Fixed AFK giving less money than real values
  • Fixed money generators torque ascension bug
  • Improvements to the resolution selection tab

You can now tweak settings in the new "advanced settings" menu to make the game less taxing on your system, will probably add even more options in the future, as always let me know what you think!

1. Grand opening of the New Arcadia Hotel located in the Miami Deco District.

2. Inside the hotel you can watch and curate YouTube videos with your friends. Try to Karaoke, listen to music, try social quizzes, or just laugh at some funny shorts.

3. To use the UI. Type your desired search. Pick your video. Video gets added to the collective queue. To go to next video click the “Right Arrow” icon.

4. You can also create your own private instances of the Arcadia Hotel for private events.

5. Need to do some research? There are fully functioning web browsers in the conference room.

6. Upgraded the game engine to Unreal 5.3.2 - If you want to experiment with Direct X 12 for crazy cool performance right click on steam app “properties” “Gane Launch Options” and type “-d3d12”

7. First time you log in you will have the default “guest” avatar equipped.

8. All mods both avatars and maps need to be redownloaded.

9. Increased the download speed of Map Mods Drastically!

10. Completely Upgraded the Gun Gripping system. You can now accurate match grip with the positions of your hands.

11. Added double grip accuracy boost for all pistols.

CHARACTERS: DAWKSIN
  • Chain Recall mod will now automatically target the highest stack enemy.
  • When activating Recall, the current lock target will now be prioritized.


CHARACTERS: FIA
  • Fire Wall, Cauterize, and Fire Pillar now have appropriate focus costs. Focus costs are an ongoing balancing act, so all ability focus costs will change over time until they make sense.
  • Fix for Concussive Cauterize, flinging enemies too far and in the wrong direction.
  • Added visuals for Concussive Cauterize modifier.
  • Fixed a bug with Fire Shard that caused double focus cost.
  • Added a custom segmented focus bar for Fia to show her cast time reduction thresholds.

CHARACTERS: SHOLD
  • Shold's Breach Ability no longer consumes focus when interrupted.

  • Reduced vitality from 40 to 25.
  • Increased ability resistance from 20 to 30.


ENEMIES: HEAVY MAGE
  • Heavy Mage should now only cast spells at targets before him.


ITEMS
  • Call of the Refuge description was updated to show that it does not remove your gold.
  • Call of the Refuge no longer triggers the Death/Game Over screen.
  • Call of the Refuge and Health Flasks can no longer be deposited.
  • Call of the Refuge should no longer trigger Second Chance.
  • Chests should now heavily favor completed items rather than materials.
  • Toast notifications for Items now show more detail about the item, including what it does.
  • Ability Points are now purchasable as one of Alden's Mercies.
  • Chests should drop less loot but better loot than before.
  • Items should no longer hang around after level resets or travel.
  • Second Chance no longer has a limit of 1 in Alden's shop.

LEVEL
  • Killing Gate Keeper at the end of Outpost should now correctly grant access to the End Teleporter.
  • Teleporter from Outpost Section 3 to Outpost Section 4 should now unlink when players are dead.
  • Ruined Church should no longer have enemies spawning inside structures on Path B.
  • Ruined Church updated, so Second Chance should have much less chance of spawning players under or inside the level.

  • The currency icon was updated to look more like what the currency is supposed to look like.
  • Fix for focus bar showing one focus when the focus was less than one but greater than 0.
  • Added a segmented focus bar to better display accurate focus points.
