The latest rebalance of version 0.22.0 introduced many changes. Two of these were a significant buff for Assault Avant-garde and a significant nerf for Medic Açaí. This Wednesday, November 22, we will slightly tweak some of these operators' characteristics.



1. Assault Avant-garde.

Players have learned to use Avant-garde as a long-distance fighter more efficiently than we anticipated. This was made possible by an improvement to linear upgrade #10.

We will slightly lower the primary weapon's rate of fire, and rebalance linear upgrade #10 itself. Now, the Longer Barrel upgrade will make the speed vs longer distance tradeoff more apparent. Avante-garde’s mobility will be gradually lowered, and not just while firing the primary weapon, and the slowdown will also last longer.

We recommend using the Longer Barrel on suitable maps. The module can be turned on and off in the operator customization screen before a battle.

Primary weapon:

• Rate of fire reduced from 4 to 3.75 shots per second (it was 3.5 before the 0.22.0 update).

Linear upgrade #10 “Longer Barrel: Increased effective firing range”:

• Stability bonus decreased from 15% to 7%.
• "Movement speed reduced while using a rifle" changed to "Sprint speed and movement speed reduced by 0.5 m/s".
• Removed the movement speed decrease when firing the primary weapon while crouching.


2. Medic Açaí.

One of the main traits of this Brazilian Medic is his increased healing. Our stats have shown that the nerf decreased Açaí's healing effectiveness by a greater extent than we anticipated.

• Pneumatic Ampoule Launcher special gear: base healing per hit on a teammate increased. It is now 6 HP per hit instead of 5.

Friendly Reminder: Temporary Solution for Controller Malfunction
The latest update of the Steam client may cause PlayStation controllers to be identified as Xbox controllers, which can disrupt normal gameplay. If this issue occurs, you can implement the following temporary measures and wait for further fixes from Steam:
Steam Client → Library → Right-click "BlazBlue: Entropy Effect" → Properties → Controller→ Set Override for BlazBlue Entropy Effect to "Disable Steam Input." → restart the game.

Hello climbers! Before we get into the patch notes, we wanted to give a big thank you to all players who have taken the time to leave feedback or a review of Jusant.

We’ve titled this patch The Accessibility Update, as many new accessibility features have been added as well as bugfixes (ultrawide players, rejoice!) and quality of life changes of course. We’re pleased to welcome even more players to the tower with this update.

Simplified Climbing Mode (instead of triggers, only the joysticks are used)

Nearly Dead - Live and Let Die - Mono Software

A spin-off project from the creation of ND's multiplayer features. Nearly Dead - Live and Let Die is now officially available.

This patch aims to change the way you play the game by fixing a number of issues that have been bugging us.



- Changing the game's direction and adding more public traits


First of all, we tried to reduce the repetitiveness of the game. Previously, we categorized the traits into three categories (melee / ranged / utility) to make it easier to choose the right trait for the player's situation. However, this ended up making the player choose similar traits for each playthrough, which made it easy to feel repetitive after only three or four playthroughs.


And as we designed the game around that, we also realized that it was difficult to increase the difficulty.


So we added a lot of common traits, and the 40+ new character traits are very powerful, but because the old trait selection method removed the distinction between melee, ranged, and utility, it made it harder to pick the traits you wanted. So you could get lucky and pick the good ones easily, but if you were unlucky, you wouldn't see the good ones and the game would be harder.


We've also added a Talent Encyclopedia to help you keep track of all the new talents we've added.


- Reducing the requirements for unlocking weapons and increasing their prices

We've also significantly relaxed the requirements for unlocking weapons, which has been criticized. Weapons can now be unlocked by simply obtaining blueprints, instead of requiring a crafting count. We've also added powerful weapon upgrades, so that even low-tier weapons can be made more powerful with upgrades. This will be great for those who enjoy speedrunning.

However, the cost of the upgrades themselves has increased, and you'll need more cash, especially as more upgrades are only available through rerolls.


- Addition of Elite Waves


Elite zombies didn't appear often enough to pose a risk to players, so they didn't appear as active items, but now they will appear more often. With Elite Waves spawning randomly, it will be harder for players to stay on the same map for long.

However, those who take that risk will be rewarded with active items.

Additionally, we're nerfing excessive Elite Waves in Region 3, which we've been criticizing.





- Two new melee weapons

We've added two fun new melee weapons: a melee weapon that attacks in 360 degrees, and a giant bayonet. The giant bayonet in particular has a rifle tag, which gives you a lot more freedom in accessorizing.
