Firstly, I would like to apologize for the issues that arose with the game, including complaints about the high price and the errors that occurred during the launch. However, most importantly, I acknowledge the poor optimization of the game. I want to express my apologies and assure you that I am actively working on an optimization update. Additionally, I aim to introduce the extra features section to the game. I will strive to release this update as soon as possible so that you don't feel like your money was wasted.

This update adds a new feature: Tutorials and Guides.
Tutorial or guide part one is complete. It will show on start of a game, both new and loaded. It can be turned on again at a later time by changing the setting in the settings screen on the main menu.
All skill tree nodes now have a maximum value to prevent crashes due to value overflow when using the 100x button.
Re-enabled the 10x and 100x buttons on the skill tree.
Added a button in the Hard Reset menu to fix and verify any negative stats. This issue was caused by the previous implementation of the 10x and 100x buttons on the skill tree.
A bit rework on utility tools; A new energy pool added for [Magnet], [Scan], [Detector].
Reworked Magnet: Now it will collect ores and give boost to nearby tools and extract more ore from the same amount of veins as it attracts all bit of crumbs.
Added favourite system for blueprints; Now you can set your own favourite blueprints and filter them.
Decreased the penalty for pressing wrong letter and for pressing space in wrong position when doing crafting minigames.
Increased chance for finding deeper mines with at least 2-day-long licences.
Now you can pick up multiple ores by holding the mouse key.
Changed upgrade text for several upgrade values.
Fixed a money exploit, when pressed SELL ALL button rapidly it sold the same items multiple times.
Fixed a mission - collect 35 gold - which did not track the progress.
Fixed autocrafted items mission tracking. Now the crafted amount correctly counts for crafting missions.
Fixed Lens of Clarity (random scans) sometimes scanned outside of playable area.

Please Fix The Road was originally released for Windows and Linux and was quickly Steam Deck Verified (some say that our Lord Gabe Newell himself verified my game, but that's just a theory). Today, I am completing the platform collection and adding macOS support (both old Intel and new Apple silicon).
Update 1.2
I am currently working to deliver you the Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation ports of the game. I really wanted to fix all of the bugs I've discovered for these versions and bring these changes to PC as well. The game should perform even better.
Updated the Unity engine to the latest LTS version

Bugfix: Sometimes, the bottom UI doesn't show up mid-tutorial
Bugfix: Rare crashes on less powerful machines or during heavy lag

Bugfix: It was possible to bug out the undo/redo feature with specific actions
Bugfix: Missing script errors in the log file
Bugfix: During very long play sessions, some level switch animations glitched a bit
Bugfix: Tile icons at the bottom UI are sometimes off-center

On the game launch date, I released a special unlicensed version of the game on torrents as a sign of good faith to my "unpaid clients". From now on, you can enable this mode by adding a super-secret "pirate" command-line argument ːsteamhappyː
