Hey there, fellow Catz! Familiars got some love in this new version of the ZpellCatz closed beta and local multiplayer is finally here. As with any new beta version, more players are invited. So, check your e-mails / Steam client if you've registered for access.

New Features

Local multiplayer is here! Connect a gamepad / joystick and enjoy playing together with your friends and family.





Familiars have been rebalanced, slightly shifting power from the cat hero to the Familiar with this update. They are no longer pure sources of passive stats through their talents. Also, the talents now provide a higher bonus to the Familiar and a smaller one to the cat hero. Lets see if talent choice will be more interesting now.

"Very Familiar" Update (0.99.0) November '23

*** Familiars ***
- Familiar base stats have been rebalanced
- Familiars now gain stats from gems in your casket
- Familiars now have innate 'Life after Kill' that scales with level
- Familiar talents now give big stat bonuses to Familiars and small ones to cat heroes
- Familiar offensive skill cooldowns and damage increased (net buff)
- Loki is now available from the start of the game
- Increased Familiar base movement speed by 25%
- Familiars are now able to collect items
- Familiars controlled by AI now auto collect coins (and other items accidentally)

*** General ***
- Slightly increased enemy HP for low level (1-3) enemies due to Loki being available from the start
- Skill UI now shows a blue border for skills with max allocated skill points
- Adjusted enemy movement speed animation for slower enemies
- Adjusted room enemy bonus mod distribution to reduce the same mods appearing too often throughout a dungeon

*** Epic Items ***
- Added all resistances to 'Protective Branch'

*** Druid ***
- Increased life on hit bonus for 'Glaring Light'
- Increased mind gained by 'Radiance'
- Increased stats gained by 'Shield Mastery'
- 'Growth' no longer grants vitality, added life after kill
- Added vitality to 'Photosynthesis'
- Increased stats gained by 'Sylph's Gift'

*** Tranquility ***
- Increased mind gained by 'Herbal Guard'
- Incrased stats gained by 'Adaption'

- Fixed an AI movement issue
- Fixed missing audio for "Thorns" enemy bonus mod

Hello everyone!

Critical Bliss here!

Again, sorry about the mild delay before release. We were having some issues with uploads in regards to the easy mode implementation and thus had to settle with separating the game into two branches.

Thanks again for everyone's patience on this. We did the best we could in the amount of time we had, and we are so happy to see so many people enjoying what we put out with MomoGames.

However, some rough edges need to be buffed out, and we will be taking care of all those issues ASAP. If you find or notice anything strange, we will address it as soon as possible.

Made a button in the create server menu that shows unsupported maps (Facing Forts) so you can peep it and play it but i won't be doing anything with it for a while or at all just noticed some facing forts servers and thought i'd at least make the map playable

V0.1.206a! Small patch that does 2 things.

CHANGELOG:
- Increased Civ. spawn rate in the second Tutorial
- Increased Loop difficulty scaling dramatically. Previously difficulty would scale by 10% for each Loop, now it increases by 40%. This should make early Loops a bit more challenging, instead of feeling like a slog if you are already decently experienced.

WALKTHROUGH – Episode 3

> This episode brings a twist to the gameplay: it's much more open and dynamic and you will need to rely
on your combat and tactical skills. First, interact with Raven to give him your weapons and open a path deeper
in the level.

> Find Yuri. After completing the conversation you will be ambushed. Escape by jumping down the opening..

> Interact with Raven and you will be given your weapons back. Progress further into the level,
clear all enemies from the map.

> Start interacting with turrets. Capture them by accessing the network through them and completing
the mini-games. Your objective in these mini-games is to make the arrow go into the gold ray of light.

> After capturing all 7 turrets, a new terminal will show on the map. Interact with it to start the fight sequence.

> Defence sequence will start where you have to protect the core integrity from incoming waves of enemies
[total of 6 waves]. Collect turret gizmos dropped from enemies to rebuild the turrets when they get destroyed
- they will help you deal with the enemies.

> After successfully defending the core from 6 waves of enemies the chapter ends.

Hello! Thank you so much to everyone who has played and enjoyed Sapphic Space.

This small update adds a gallery to the main menu screen.

A little bot is watching you! It keeps track of what endings you have gotten.



Click on the bot to open the gallery. The bot will place the ending images here once you have seen them so that you can collect them all!



This update also contains some small fixes regarding typos and gameplay flow.

Keep an eye out because I am also working on an official walkthrough to help you achieve all the endings, in case you are getting stuck.
