Hello, lovely Moonstoners! It's another beautiful week, and Moonstone Island just keeps getting better. This week, we have patch notes, a cool and cozy Steam event, and, uh, wasn't there... something else... I'm forgetting...

Now I remember. It was a whole thing, we were on the Indie World Showcase, everyone was like "yay" and "woo", it was pretty cooooool. Yay! Woo!

Cozy Quest Event Starting
This week we're also going to be part of Cozy Quest, a Steam event run by our good pals over at Secret Mode (they published A Little to the Left, Wobbledogs, and Loddlenaut!)
Cozy Quest is a curation of the bestest-best cozy games on Steam, and runs from the 16th to the 20th November. During that time, we'll be on the front page of Steam, alongside games like Ooblets, Potion Permit, and Unpacking, and I will also personally give you 20,000 Cozy Points whenever you wrap yourself in a blanket, drink a hot chocolate, or put on slippers. (Disclaimer: Cozy Points do not have any value. They are just for acknowledging your Cozy Level.)

ICYMI Switch News!!
In case you missed it... we finally got to announce our Switch release in Spring 2024! I don't like keeping secrets, so I'm quite glad to not have to sit on this one any longer. Spring might seem really far away (we have to do Winter first!) but I guarantee it'll come up in no time at all. And then we'll all be playing Moonstone Island in bed, as intended.
We have a page on the Nintendo website, and Nintendo tweeted about us, and and and... I don't know! I've always been a Nintendo kid! So it feels really weird! And cool! And exciting!!!! I wonder if Miyamoto has ever had to say the words "Moonstone Island". Probably not, right? He's probably busy. But still. IT'S REALLY NEAT.




We're still improving the game with patches on the regular! This week's patch notes includes some rather exciting new changes, including:

• Cut down wilted crops with BOOMERANG

• Rotateable GATES

• The Loom now has a COPY-PASTE feature

• You can buy and sell in BULK

• More room in town to build a HOUSE

• An all-new FISHING DIFFICULTY setting

And so much more! Oooooh! Aaaaah!!!

The first content of the second round of the "红六军团" script has temporarily canceled the trigger event. There is an unknown BUG here. If the BUG is resolved later, the trigger event for this content will be restored.

Change

Bobby's POD
- Protects the rune and player from darkness. (Nachzehrer)
- Longer battery life
- Activity increases less when sound is emitted.
- Indicates direction of entity up to 10m.

New
- Add a second version of the POD.

- Clicking on the ingredient on the entity page opens the craft tab and selects the ingredient.

The 1966 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport is one of the muscle car era’s brightest stars and it’s showing up at the Horizon Festival during its second week!

The 5.3 - liter V8 engine fitted in the Nova along with its AWD system that makes it a superstar racer secures a well-deserved spot in Muscle Car Mount Rushmore.

We added auto-aim for the main weapons as an optional feature.

You can select manual or auto aim when starting a run, or by changing it via options.
You can also toggle auto aim while playing by using the Tab key, or the Right Shoulder via gamepad.

If you have auto-aim enabled, you can still manually aim by pressing the mouse left click and it will start auto aiming again when you release, and using the gamepad if you aim with the right stick it will use your manual aim and return to auto aim on release.

We received a request to have an option to turn off Screen Shake and we added that to the options menu.

We added instructions for playing with gamepad, and now the instructions are visible on the pause screen as well.

- This comes from getting The Shark correct or a choice on Another way out.

You can now open simple sealed boxes with a penknife.
Specific wounds no longer have a number attached to them.
The numbers on Clothing wear have changed but the system is otherwise unchanged.
You now keep your Caps and beanies slot when entering prison.
Being very low on fuel blocks your own vehicle for Transport capacity and Access/Heavy goods..
