Increasing the map size sets the baseline for all the improvements planned in Alpha 6. The focus is now going to be on adding more POI's and resource areas that players will need to travel around the map to source what they need. The new world map system sets up the framework to build and improve the dynamic events sytem that I've been planning for some time.
This update may not add a hell of a lot of new things to see and do but it definitely has changed the game and sets a path for many improvements on the next few months. I'm keen to hear feedback and ideas for POI's and resource gathering areas as well as feedback on performance and gameplay balancing in general.
