Being inside of a land parcel you own or co-own grants protection from monsters, which will ignore you. Attacking the monster outside causes the protection to be lost. #2 player request fulfilled!
Bug Fixes
Packaging stations are functional again.
This was fixed yesterday : boosted crafts from used recipes are correctly saved at logout and no longer lost.
Opening the **store** from the button in game now correctly opens the store for Steam users instead of showing the home page.
It's no longer possible to pick up items from cart inventories when mounted and bug your character out.
Casting a leech spell against a creature with Globe of Spell Protection no longer causes the caster to lose mana regeneration even though the spell (correctly) failed to cast.
It's now possible for a land parcel owner to set permissions for the Forge, and a Smeltery set as Public is now accessible to everyone.

Game Balance
General
Rating Decay - Players rated 2600+ who have not played a ranked game in 2+ weeks will decay 10 rating points per day. This will help keep the top of the ladder representative of the currently-active best players.
Classic - Blitz and Ordered Chaos special modes are now less likely to show up as a hot mode & randomly selected mode. A new Classic mode coming next patch, and another one soon (TM) after that!
The dev team is constantly monitoring game balance, between looking at data and listening to community feedback. If anything is being more closely monitored than usual, it will be listed in this Balance Watchlist section. For this patch, the following are on the watchlist:
Game length
Over the last few months, average game length has increased by 1 minute. We ran an in-game poll asking ranked players their thoughts, and from thousands of responses, here are the results:
Happy with game length: 66.6%
Want longer games: 21.6%
Want shorter games: 11.8%
One interesting result was that preferences vary by rank. Bronze-Expert players (97% of players) prefer longer games, and Master+ players (3% of players) prefer shorter games. Good news is that at every single rank, most players are happy with average game length.
Mid & late game workers
In some game states, it's not rewarding enough to push workers in the mid and late game. We're evaluating systemic changes to fix this, but to avoid breaking the game near the end of the season, it's best to wait until the Season 2024 patch in January.
Chaos
From a game balance point of view, Chaos has a reasonable pick rate and win rate, comparable to Cartel, Cash Out, Greed, Yolo, and Fiesta. However, some top-ranked players have expressed concern with the more RNG nature of Chaos. We're still gathering feedback and considering changes.

Improvements
Pulverizer now more consistently shows its VFX/SFX, even if the unit died when the stun hit. Also made the VFX a bit louder.
Fixes
Fixed a bug in the Leaderboards tab where the Divine leaderboard was missing (as a dropdown item in the Level leaderboard)
Fixed a bug in Spectator mode where emotes didn't work for spectators other than the first slot
Fixed a bug on low resolutions (e.g. Steamdeck) where the in-game King Upgrade panel was covered up by the bottom-left HUD panel (mercenary icons/autosend indicator)

Closing Remarks
Hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween weekend! With this update, we are excited to introduce new units to the game! The goal of Pirate Skeleton is to bring the fun of Grarl to more openings & strategies. Spectral Scallywag brings built-in synergy with Pirate Skeleton in that its ability is quite strong early-game. It also has late-game scaling potential with its dodge + max health mechanics.

Update v1.7.0 is now live on all platforms, introducing a new feature to test your decks, quality of life improvements and a new Promo code. Take a look at the changes introduced in this update:
New features
● New ‘practice’ mode to test your decks against a bot before taking them into multiplayer. From the Decks menu in Collection, just open your deck and use the Practice button next to Edit Deck. These matches also count towards Missions! ● New custom interactions between some warlords at the start of the match. Can you find them all? ● The Cosmetics Shop has been removed from the game. We are working on other ways of obtaining them in the game. Read on to find out how to get a free avatar!
QoL improvements
● The turn timer now starts the countdown when there are 15 seconds left, instead of 10. ● Show cursor again in Steam Deck when the 'Touch Input’ toggle in Settings is disabled
Bug fixes
● The game performance has been optimised significantly, to reduce battery use and to improve the frame rate in low-spec devices. ● Improve mobile interface in battle, so that the stats of cards in hand are visible. ● Improved error handling to manage some edge cases which could leave the game on a black screen instead of showing the main menu after loading. ● Makari has been fixed, as it was not always applying his buff after being killed by Shuriken.

Interaction
Added a highlighting system for objects to be interacted with. Boxes also can be placed, emptied, and refilled now.
Placing-Taking items
Added animations to place and take from shelves. The interaction is now performed by holding down mouse buttons instead of clicking each time. Added item-shelf type matching. You can only place items onto the matching type of shelves; Rack, Fridge, Freeze, etc.
Trash bin
You can now throw unwanted items into the trash bins. But be careful :D
Aiming
Added aim indicator, well needed.
Save system
Added save system. Well needed as well :D
Pricing
Added validation for price input. Polished the pricing screen. You can clearly see the profit now. Again, be careful :D
Fixes
Fixed not being able to jump from some objects, and being able to move while in interaction with UI.
Optimization
Added a pooling system for objects for the sake of optimization.

Added a game difficulty indicator.
[/h3]We decided to add more of a competitive moment to any playthrough, and created a system for assessing the difficulty of the game session. Now all parameters affect the displayed difficulty level, allowing you to estimate how difficult it will be to complete the final goal in the allotted time. Higher difficulty - more respect!Write to us if some parameters seem unbalanced to you - and we will fix it in the next patch.
Director's orders.
[/h3]Another window that has undergone a redesign. Now all orders are “packed” in the right part, and are not as chaotic as before. Do not worry - the changes are only visual without changing the very essence of the orders.

Companies | Added dependence of the number of new workplaces and the cost of construction during expansion on the current number of workplaces in the company. The more places there are in the company now, the more places a new building will add, but the more expensive it will cost to build it.
Mail | Added notifications about the threat of bankruptcy of the player, controlled companies and loyal characters.
Achievements | Added a new achievement "Speculator"
Journal | Added notifications about completing tasks of the current game session
Credits | The formula for the maximum loan amount from the character has been reworked. Now the amount depends not only on the lender's cash, but also on the borrower's solvency, as well as the reputation of the borrower or the CEO of the company taking the loan.

General | Fixed missing music when playing on Mac.
The "Buy shares" ambition | Fixed a bug that could generate an ambition to buy shares of a non-existent company after the election.
Company votings | Disabled CEO's offer to increase dividends.
Companies | Player ceases to be considered a shareholder when trying to receive subsidies or conclude a state contract after loading the savegame.
Elections | Fixed a vulnerability that made it possible for the player to become governor.
Loyalty | Fixed a bug that caused characters with full loyalty to periodically lose loyalty for no reason.
Laws | Fixed incorrect change in the popularity of laws after consideration of any bill.
Navigation | Fixed a bug that caused the "Select a new Director" window to be ignored when returning to the previous window.
Loans | Fixed an error due to which, when trying to repay a loan in a company with negative reserves, it was possible to set a negative payment amount.
Starting conditions | Fixed error, when a player got 4 free skill points when starting with own company.
Merger | Fixed a bug where the merger of companies was unavailable if the total reserves of both companies were < 0.

The Quest system has been rewritten to safeguard against bugs when progressing quests and recieving items
Quests will now check if a player is supposed to have an item on a certain quest stage, and give it to them if it is missing. This is designed to 'fix' player saves that have been affected by the recent missing item quest bug
Further tweaked save system to eliminate bugs when saving and loading
Tweaked player visibility to enemies, making the player harder to detect if partially obscured by terrain
Emporium of Oddities shopkeeper now restocks the passport every day
Secret illusion wall in Hallowshire belltower now allows players to pass through

Fixed a bug that was causing regions to load incorrectly
Fixed a bug that was causing the witch house island to have no clipping
Fixed a bug that was stopping the Hallow Castle quest from giving correct item rewards
