SERVER INSTALLER
Our community member ASIDSX created an app which installs the server and starts it in a very easy manner. The program provides a convenient way for users to manage and configure their Astro Colony servers with minimal manual command-line interaction. It simplifies the process of setting up and running a dedicated server for the game.

5、 General optimization:
1. Increase the number of guesthouse rooms that can be built, and level 40 and level 50 can be expanded once more;
2. Increase the daily collection limit for Mu Huo Trial Cards, and after exceeding 30, you will no longer be able to collect them;
3. All stalls have been optimized during the listing stage. After entering the price, no stalls will be sold. After clicking close, a confirmation box for secondary stalls will pop up;

6、 The continuation mechanism of the Atlas season:
In order to make the collection of atlases more collectible and sustainable after each season, we have decided to retain all the blood jade and spirit activated in the 'Evil Object Chronicle' after the end of each season.
In the new season, the team will no longer need to collect activated Blood Jade and Spirit again. They only need to pay the required silver coins for activation again to regain the previous effect.

First of all a huge thanks to all those that have played and given feedback for my game GeoDepths! It's been a crazy experience releasing my first game. You've all been amazing!
I initially didn't intend on doing any post release content. I was excited to reach the finish line of the development journey of my first game, and was looking forward to starting the next one. But as more and more people played the game, and provided great feedback, I was eventually inspired enough to look at adding more to the game.
So since then I have been collecting ideas of what I could do, which will be both feasible and impactful. The changes and additions would have to complement the existing game, without requiring me to spend another year rewriting how everything works. So I came up with enough ideas that I liked, which could then be separated into two camps. Those that expanded the current game, and those that extended it. Leading me to decide on two content updates, which I have aptly nicknamed Denser and Deeper.
The first update will focus on expanding the existing content of the game, improving and enhancing the drilling and building systems.
The second will add more depth levels to explore, along with new caves and resources, and more lore and story that will lead into a third ending for the game.
The estimated release months for these two updates are January and April, with the updates going into an experimental branch for a short time before being pushed into the main game.
Q: What long-term plans do you have to continue to separate Farlight in the BR genre? A: We acknowledge the importance of distinctiveness in the battle royale genre. We're preparing a special announcement to discuss our strategic vision for Farlight 84. Stay tuned for an exciting roadmap ahead.
Q: When will there be an improved anti-cheat system? By improved, I mean a more legitimate one that automatically detects any 3rd party cheating software running in the background and prohibits you from entering the game. Please be more specific and not like "we are continuing to optimize our anti-cheat system". A: Your question pertains to the progress and plans of our anti-cheating system, and we'd like to provide more details.
Comprehensive upgrades to the anti-cheating system and notable achievements: Let's look at what we've accomplished. Firstly, on October 26th, the detection of anomalies in the gaming environment was enhanced. Accounts with active or passive anomalies were directly removed from matches and warned. Although this doesn't necessarily mean these players were cheating, for absolute fairness, we can only ask these players to actively eliminate any irregularities. For actual cheaters, there's no escape; they can't enter matches and face permanent bans. Next On November 3rd, a new set of anti-cheat measures was implemented, showing significant effects, especially regarding the number of accounts in matchmaking isolation. Now, over 1,100 suspicious accounts are isolated daily, nearly double the previous figure. Matchmaking isolation means temporarily pairing players who might use cheating tools with other suspicious players or bots, so regular players' experiences remain unaffected. Accounts are identified based on reports, suspicious behavior, or anomalous data and observed for hours to days. If confirmed to have used cheating tools, they face permanent bans. And of course, the policy for confirmed cheaters is one of zero tolerance and permanent expulsion.
Future plans: 1. In-depth analysis of cheat software samples: The market's cheat software is given special attention, with increased investments in their analysis to combat cheating. 2. Optimization of the gaming environment detection: As mentioned, our strict detection system will require some players to actively eliminate anomalies. This process will be further optimized, aiming not just to remove anomalous accounts from play but to prevent their game access entirely. For innocent players, detailed error descriptions will be provided to assist in promptly identifying and resolving issues. Ensuring fair play. 3. More investment in monitoring ranked games: We're aware of players' concerns about cheating in ranked matches. Unfairness in ranked games can be a fatal experience. Going forward, the monitoring and banning of cheats in ranked matches will be intensified. The system will build detailed models for players who perform exceptionally well to understand their behavior and accurately identify cheating, ensuring game fairness.
Q: Changing the lobby screen to match the battle pass season makes the game look alive. Every New Season should come with a new Background lobby screen and Music. A: Indeed 👀
Q: Will we be able to change our HUD display back into the old display? Can you guys revert the footsteps indicator and Parachute icon to the previous version? A: Currently, there are no plans to revert the HUD display to older versions, nor are there plans for a fully customizable HUD. However, we are working on providing more customization options within a limited scope. These options are still in development, and a confirmed date for their availability has not been established. We appreciate your patience and will keep our players updated on any new features as they become ready for release.
Q: The brightness is too high or dull, and colors are faded in this update. A: This could be related to the various visual styles available in the game. Previous versions had less noticeable effects. In the 15.1 update, we intentionally increased the difference between visual styles. We suggest you change the current visual style settings to suit your preference, and of course, you can also customize the brightness. Instructions: Go to SETTINGS -> GRAPHICS -> In-Game Visual Style/Brightness -> Choose the one that suits you best.
Q: When will the new map be available? A: A few months ago, it was mentioned that a brand new battle royale map was promised for release this year. However, due to scheduling issues, a delay has been necessary. But we can tell you that the new battle royale map is expected to meet everyone in early 2024! We appreciate your patience and are excited to bring this new experience to you.
Q: When will Gift options be available? A: We are concerned that enabling a gift option may lead to the emergence of illicit black markets for recharging accounts through unofficial channels, potentially harming player interests. The gift option is under consideration, the priority is to protect players from potential fraud and unauthorized transactions.
Q: When will Syfer get a new skin? A: Syfer's fans will be pleased to know a new SSR skin will be available through the Battle Pass shortly.
Q: When is solo mode? A: While there are no immediate plans for a solo mode, the future holds many possibilities.
Q: When will there be big tournaments for the EU like in the Philippines and LATAM? A: We are currently piloting tournaments in the Philippines and LATAM to gauge their success. Should these events yield positive results, there is openness to the idea of expanding tournaments to additional regions. Current concerns include managing time zones and event organization, as these have proven to be significant challenges in regions with active tournaments. However, community-organized tournaments are warmly encouraged, and we're willing to support such events with prizes or in-game items. Interested parties can sign up at this link.
Q: When can we buy VIPs using PCs instead of using mobile phones? A: Soon, watch out for our "What's Next" segment for more details.
Q: Please add a function that allows the player to rejoin the match if he got disconnected from the game. A: A reconnection feature is present. If issues arise, our support team is ready to investigate and resolve them on a case-by-case basis.
Q: Revamp and bring the old heroes back one by one in the future. A: Yes, exciting times ahead as we're soon to announce a "New-Old" hero. Stay tuned for the reveal.
Q: Since the update, I haven't been able to turn my mic on or off. Also, I can't see who's speaking while being in a squad. A: Microphone issues can be resolved by adjusting the settings: On the battlefield, you can identify who is using a microphone by the sound tracks on your teammates' avatars. You can open or close a teammate's sound by the following operation: Open the backpack page -> the small microphone ICON to the left of the teammate's avatar in the lower-left corner;
Your own microphone can be custom adjusted through the settings interface: Go to Settings -> SOUND -> Customize your own microphone.

Q: Add Melee Weapons and Melee skins? A: We're focusing on expanding our guns first. Melee options are an intriguing idea for future consideration.
Q: Add new heroes. There are already a lot of support-type heroes. When are we going to get an attack-type hero like Maggie? A: Suggestion received! But creating a brand new hero takes a long time. We will add it to the plan and hope that the second Maggie can meet everyone sooner.
