Beyond level 8: When you are level 9 or more (maximum 12) you can now replace perks you already have, one perk replacement per level. We think this is useful because first perks we take might not fit our end build so it is one more option to make the best possible build.
Current Stats Window: You can now display your current stats (Strength/Critic/Mana/Life/Armor/Attack speed) by opening your inventory. It allows you to have a better understanding of your build and it can also be visible permanently by activating an option.

The Sound listener has been reworked, distance of sounds heard is now a bit further (in case of unzoomed screen some sounds would not played if positioned on sides of the screen) and cleaner than before.

Modified sound when reappearing in the Garden.
Increased volume of Bosses context dialogues so we can hear them better.

The Wagadu Chronicles’ Early Access releases on December 4th 2023 for PC.
What are some things that can you expect to find when you land in Wagadu?
Multi-player, turn-based tactical combat Enjoy combat with up to 12 friends! Battle animals and spirits as you explore Wagadu. If you win the battle, the spirits and animals will let you be for a (short) while, so take advantage of it while you can! If you lose… you will be transported to a safe spot on the island.
Unique Afrofantasy world Let Wagadu’s music and art transport you to a world the likes of which you have never seen before in videogames. Will you roleplay as a merchant who wants to aquire as many cowries (in-game currency) as possible? Or perhaps you prefer to acquire your cowries as a protector of merchants and gatherers, using your sword and shield to protect them in their travels and explorations?
Collective village management system In Wagadu, everyone can contribute to growing the settlements you can find in the world. The better your settlement, the more perks the different buildings provide to you and yours. Do you want to lead a village’s growth? Then you have to create a Society, recruit people who are inspired by the same vision as yours, and claim a Waka! Be warned: Wakas are inhabited by fickle spirits, and choose only the best suitors.
Player driven economy Whether you are a crafter or a gatherer, you can take advantage of Wagadu’s markets. Yes, markets; that ‘s’ is not a mistake. Each island of Wagadu has its own marketplace. Sell items to your Society’s village, or scour the different islands looking for the best place to put your wares!

UI Interface Bar
known issues • There are currently some known issues with vehicles not always syncing correctly when being dismounted when moving, this seems to be related to chaos physics in Unreal Engine 5, to avoid this issue I would recommend stopping before exiting your vehicle for the time being. • Local Server - Ground collision sometime doesn't load correctly causing players to fall into the ground under the map, this is an Unreal Engine bug with world partition which should be fixed in following engine updates. • Local Server - Due to level streaming trees will respawn if a player loads in away from their base location.
Localization updates do take time so if there are any missing translations, please be aware these will be translated in future updates.
