Firstly, allow us to say thank you to everyone who bought and played the game yesterday. The reception blows us away, and we appreciate the love and support you have shown us over the years, especially now that The Talos Principle 2 is out.

We are working hard on addressing the issues a small number of players are experiencing. Please stay tuned here, as we'll have more info on upcoming updates very soon.

Until then, let's get back to why we're here today. Arguably the most famous puzzle game of all time, Portal, introduced us to one of the most popular AIs ever - GlaDOS. She was eager to jump into The Talos Principle 2, so check some of the highlights of her playthrough below.

Stronghold: Definitive Edition - FireFlyNick

Our final pre-release update for Stronghold: Definitive Edition is a big one... As we reveal our post-release plans for the game!

We can now commit to two major updates for the game, with a new economic campaign and second castle trail planned alongside new maps and the usual mix of smaller features and fixes. These two updates will release early next year and arrive at the same time as one of two paid DLC military campaigns, which will each cost $2.99, £2.49 or €2.99.

It gives us great pleasure to confirm these today alongside a recap of community driven features added since our most recent public demo, which now include (optional) auto-trading and selectable team colours in all game modes! During our two public demos and player surveys thousands of you told us that post-launch support and paid DLC were both of interest, so we made plans to release these in early 2024.

Featuring a new story designed by series creator Simon Bradbury, our second economic campaign will involve the work of rebuilding a kingdom nearly shattered by the warring exploits of The Rat, Snake, Pig and Wolf. Narrated by OG Stronghold voice actor Jay Simon, you will travel north to restore peace and order to homelands ravaged by the conflict of the military campaigns over the course of seven unique missions as part of our larger Winter Update.

Following on from this our Spring Update will include a second Castle Trail, which will feature a ‘greatest hits’ mix of old and new historical castles to besiege and defend. As with the base game trail we’re looking at including at least 10 historical castles, with Polish strongholds making their long overdue debut.

Each of our two paid DLCs will release with these updates and come in the form of two new military campaigns, each offering 7 military missions. ‘Swine’s Bay’ and ‘Valley of the Wolf’ will feature the return of two popular series antagonists and lead directly on from the 14 missions included in the Stronghold: Definitive Edition base game. You can expect the difficulty to scale up, some formidable new win conditions and a true challenge for series veterans!

Get ready to Fall into Language Learning with our Autumn Update! This is our biggest update ever, so get ready to open your coffee shop, serve your customers, build your business, and learn a language while doing it with even more new features!

New Greetings

"Hello!", "Welcome", "What can I get you?" -- Just like when we introduced new ways for customers to order in the Spring, now we're giving you the ability to choose how you greet your customers! Each language now has multiple options to greet your customers -- use the question mark icon to learn their meanings, and choose the one that works for you!

New Language-Specific Items

Every language has a new food or drink item customized for that location. Check out your store to see what's new!

As one example, in Korean we have added "바나나 우유", or Banana Milk, as a new item in the fridge! Banana Milk is a beloved beverage in South Korea, often associated with childhood memories and seen as a cultural icon.

New Machine Upgrades

Do you have a line building up out the door, and you just can't serve fast enough? You can now upgrade your ice, hot water, and coffee machines to operate faster! Each machine has 5 levels of upgrades, with the highest level bringing fill time down to only half a second! You'll be serving up your customers and getting them out the door in no time at all!

New Voice/Text Settings

Want to give yourself a challenge? Try turning off the pronunciations for Asian languages, playing without text at all and just relying on sound, or vice versa! The settings menu in the upper right allows you to choose what information you get from your customers.

We can't wait for you to check out all our awesome new additions! Open your coffee shop in Lost Abroad Café and Fall into Language Learning today!

Times and Galaxy - Fellow Traveller Ben K

We're pleased to announce that Times & Galaxy is participating in the IndieCade Anywhere and Everywhere Festival on Steam!

Embark on an interplanetary adventure as the first robo reporter for the Times & Galaxy, the solar system's most trusted holopaper. You're just an intern, but if you can get the scoop, write great stories, and impress your colleagues, maybe you'll get to keep your job!

Times & Galaxy is a colourful narrative adventure game about a fictional solar system as seen through the eyes of an intrepid but green (and robotic) intern reporter. The writers at Copychaser spent years working as journalists before entering the games industry and have a deep love of local journalism and the connections it creates in communities around the world. Their previous game was the acclaimed Speed Dating for Ghosts.

It's a truly unique adventure game where you can step into the metal boots of the first-ever robo reporter. Chase down leads, break system-rocking news, get quotes, make friends (or enemies), eat a dirt pie! It's your solar system to explore, your story to tell and your job on the line, intern.

You do actual journalism in the game, the implementation of which is authentic given the development team's background and also a unique mechanic that's not really present in other games. Whilst out on assignment, you will interview subjects and gather clues, from which you'll then build and submit a story.

The more thorough you are, the more options you will have for the game's unique Build-a-Story™ tool, which will also let you choose how to position the story, whether it's a hard-hitting expose, or tabloid hyperbole. Ultimately, your choices will impact how your editors, and the readers will react to the story, and over time, will begin

It is important to note that Times & Galaxy is not a journalism simulator, like most other games that tackle this subject. Times & Galaxy is a narrative adventure first and foremost - where you do journalism as a core mechanic - with a Sitcom / Saturday Morning Cartoon feel.

In-between missions, you'll also get to explore the Scanner, which is is more than just a newsroom. The Scanner is where you sleep, eat, work and relax - a large explorable hub where you'll get to engage with casual tasks and get to know a diverse and colorful crew including your fellow reporters, the editorial staff, pilots and ship's crew. Including those aboard the Scanner, there will be around 100 NPCs to get to know in the final game.

Sound like your thing? Check out the demo and throw us a wishlist via the link below!
