V1.4.8 has just been released! We've been gathering continuous feedback in this time since V1.0, and we've been using it to improve the game. This update fixes some pesky bugs and adds more balancing to the items and guns. As always if something doesn't feel right let us know and we will make adjustments :)

Extraktion 1943 is a roguelite extraction shooter set in Nazi Germany. Survive as a stranded Allied soldier behind enemy lines. Take on the Nazis solo or online with friends, sabotage enemy production, assassinate high-ranking officers, and build your hideout and resistance network. DEATH TO HITLER!

Returning to the Succubus update,
We've decided to approach the required censorship in the game differently and have completely removed pixelation of genitals and breasts. Instead, you will simply see designer clothing covering the characters.

Of course, you still have the option to disable the censorship - just install the free DLC - Unrated or download it from our website at http://madmind-studio.com/

Additionally, in the game, you will find a new sword inspired by the Sharp X Mind game, about which we will share more details soon.
Remember that you can always make use of Succubus add-ons to transform the game into its Halloween version!

Duck Life 9: The Flock - Wix Games
Before you read this devlog, make sure to watch the new trailer we just released on YouTube! All done? Okay, let’s explain what that was all about!

Duck Life 9: The Flock


As I’m sure you know by now, the subtitle for the game is ‘The Flock’. A flock is the name for a group of ducks, and that’s exactly what this game is about. Your journey starts with a lone, daring duck, but by the grand finale, you'll be the proud leader of a full-blown duck dynasty! So how do you gather this quirky crew? Recruit ducks to your flock by beating them in races, or impressing them by helping them out with quests. Every duck is naturally good at different skills, so it’s a good idea to use different ones for different races. Some ducks you recruit will bring items like hats and costumes along with them, which you can then share with other ducks in your flock.

Building the ultimate village

With a bustling flock, they need a place to call home. Create a thriving duck village using resources earned from races and training games. From cooking pots to training centres, every aspect can be tailored to your ducks' needs. And let's not forget about the essential duck necessities – somewhere to sleep and yes, even somewhere to poop! Adorn the village with decorations and shops, where ducks can find stylish hats, costumes and more. Just make sure to recruit a suitable shopkeeper first!

Sharing the knowledge

You’ll train your ducks one at a time during training games, but ducks are social creatures! In Duck Life 9, they love sharing knowledge. Higher levelled ducks can talk to lower levelled ducks to help them gain XP without even doing any training! Build a stage to give your ducks a platform to teach multiple other ducks at once. You’ll need to enter a group of ducks into the many Featherhaven tournaments so make sure you spread the training knowledge!

Feeding the Flock

All that training and racing makes a duck hungry! You can feed your ducks basic seed if you want to simply curb their hunger pangs, but if you want to increase their energy level you’ll have to do better than that. Luckily your ducks are expert farmers, and can grow all the food they need (if you provide them with the right equipment). Take a trip to the fishing beach to catch some tasty morsels for your ducks. Combine ingredients to discover new meals and send those energy levels soaring!

Upgrades, upgrades, upgrades!

Everyone loves upgrades, and here in the Flock almost everything can be upgraded! Want access to more training games? All you need do is upgrade your training centre! Everything, down to the speed at which you chop down trees can be improved, so get saving your resources and set yourself some milestones! With a little hard work, your ducks will soon be the buffed-up lumberjack powerhouses they know they can be!

Get ready for a splash of excitement that goes beyond just decorations! Curate your flock zone like a conductor crafting a symphony. The way you lay out your buildings and utilities isn't just about looks – it impacts how efficiently jobs get done! Fancy a farm haven? Cultivate a crop paradise that would make any duck proud. Or perhaps you're the mentor of mallards, dedicated to turbocharging newbie ducks into full-feathered pros in record time. So, dip your toes in the pond of possibilities and let your imagination take flight

Last but not least, the game offers a diverse and immersive single-player campaign, skirmish mode, co-op, alternative game modes, and a multiplayer mode up to 10 players, with ELO ratings and a ranking system.

Train Simulator Classic - DovetailMike


In October we've updated the Beta, launched a new loco, and celebrated both German and Austrian railways in Train Simulator. Read on to find out more about what's happened in the month.

Train Simulator Beta
The Beta build has been updated this month, with numerous bug fixes to the core code as part of our upgrade to the latest Visual Studio. This has resulted in a big leap in stability. You can find an overview on this update on the official Train Simulator forums, where you can also provide feedback on your experience with the Beta. If you haven’t joined the Beta yet, get involved.

New Release

Our big release for October was the fantastic Burlington Northern U25 from Digital Train Model. This content rich loco add-on features the GE U25B in two styles, steel cupola caboose, and six freight cars. All of which feature a wide array of liveries. With both German Unity Day and Austrian National Day in the month we’ve updated our hobby articles on Dovetail Live. DLC Updates
This month a core scripting issue has been fixed on BNSF Montana Hi-Line, Stevens Pass and the Springfield Line. If you have automatic updates switched on you should have these already.


Upcoming in November you can look forward to a new Austrian route arriving on Steam from RSSLO with Wien - St.Pölten, a Southern Railway Retro Pack for Saluda Grade from High Iron Simulations, and more.

Small update recent game changes, so you know what exactly was improved and fixed recently in the game!

IMPROVEMENTS
  • New improved syncing player with loading bar. If the connection is very bad it will just slow down sending data instead of kicking a player out.
  • New bot interactive tutorial plane (round corners) with improved interactions
  • Multiplayer pause menu is showing also proper server icon Player Host vs Dedicated
  • Authenticated player can now also save the game from the menu


BUG FIXES
  • Fixed issue where autosave did not clean autosaves and create more than 10 autosaves
  • Fixed issue where after loading legacy savegame inventory wasn't in sync with the server
  • Fixed issue where docking station state would not sync to the client if there are more planets docked
  • Fixed issue with tutorial bot screen where translucency was inverted
  • Fixed issue where loaded location relative to the station was incorrect
  • Fixed issue where sync wouldn't start due to late asteroid replication
  • Fixed issue where sync wouldn't start due to late planet replication

Our automatic in-game toggle for Halloween assets may or may not have leaked this update 🎃
Nevertheless, the spooky season is upon us, so either embrace the unique look of Rising Lords' annual Halloween patch, or decide to leave things as they are by switching to the non-Halloween branch!
To switch branches, go to Rising Lords in your Steam Library, press the gear icon and select 'Properties', go to 'Betas' and select 'no-halloween' from the drop down menu.

Some AI changes for very small maps:
  • Added reckless land grabs for small maps where the AI player only has a single region. This will break up stalemates on small maps with the same resources in each region.
  • Added AI to bypass maximum building restrictions on maps of 4 regions or less, but only if there is a region with more, or equal structures.
  • Removed AI allowing any army strength to attack neighbors in maps of 4 regions or less.
  • Added AI to clear fields on maps of 4 regions or less, even if their personality doesn't want to.
  • Added Aggressive AI to no longer deal with beggars by mustering an army on maps of 4 regions or less. Now it builds, which is the default.
  • Added stables to be built on maps of 4 regions or less without having need for them.

10 Ingredients received a graphical overhaul with new visual effects!
Fly, Rotten Meat, Animal Excrement, Rotten Milk, Warmshroom, Papaj Shroom, Lotus, Many Eyes, Devils Fruit and Diamond.

OTHERS
  • Fixed all the Achievements.
  • Boss Trophies are now pickable and functional (if you have not gathered them they will await you in the place the boss was).
  • Loot now hangs lower above the ground.
  • Lowered the points needed for the Reputation levels higher than 5.
  • Ingredients are no longer lost when picking bushes and milk from cows with full inventory.
  • Discord link in the main menu fixed.
  • Nukes now works on slimes.
  • Fear Gas fixed.
  • Gamepad movement in Ingredient Album and Character Abilities tab added.
  • More Ingredients now sway with the wind.
  • The dog will no longer move characters when talking with them.
  • Added cooldown on the doors in the player's home.
  • Added music to the boss fights.
  • Picked-up Skillboks and Recipes should no longer respawn.
