"Still not workin'? Den I hitz it 'arder!" – Spanner
Warpforge has been out for less than a week, and in that time we have received a ton of feedback about issues and potential improvements. This update brings many bug fixes, particularly to prevent disconnection issues, as well quality of life improvements and even one new feature. Check out the web post to find out what has changed.
Sceneries have been updated to support file deduplication. Alongside V1, V2 and V3 subdirectories, a new All subdirectory has been added that contains files shared by two or more versions of the same scenery. This reduces the game's download and installation size, and may drastically reduce the size of Steam Workshop mods once they are updated with support for this new system. FOR MODDERS: To update your scenery to support file deduplication, simply re-run the Workshop Uploader's validation process, and submit an update to your mod(s). Workshop Uploader will handle the file deduplication automatically.
Fixed a Workshop Uploader bug mis-handling the Waypoint races. FOR MODDERS: To fix your Workshop mods with glitched Waypoint races, simply re-run the Workshop Uploader's validation process, and submit an update to your mod(s).
Fixed add-on vinyls not loading from Steam Workshop mods if they were placed in the car directories. [new to CE]
Fixed an issue where attempting to run the game in a window larger than the desktop resolution made the game window disappear. [original]
Zoomed out the car selection viewport slightly to avoid cutting out the longest cars. [original]
Fixed Alt+Enter squashing the car selection preview viewport. [new to CE]
Fixed issues with saving and loading profiles with Unicode characters in names. [new to CE]

The following has been updated after user feedback:
. Overall brightness and lighting increase for better experience and general visibility. . Mouse sensitivity ajustement. . Puzzle specific object mentioned in feedback are now more visible. . Bug fixes: Sounds and messages resetting.
Buffed the laser weapon to be highly effective on all bugs to compensate its small area. This should make it quite a viable weapon even for combos in mid-late game.
Killing with the Poison spray now emit a soft sound to be consistent with the Poison sprayer trap.
Increased the area of the Gel-trap with a slightly higher attraction rate for the later bugs, making it a lot more useful in many later quests.
Fixed "Ready" button. The y in ready was cut off in certain cases, when window isn't full screen.
Fixed "Complete Quest" missing a graphic when clicked.
Fixed the (!) Icon on the Upgrades button when an upgrade is no longer available. Auto upgrades did its thing and did not clear the marker, it also happened when upgrades were done through the shortcut on the Quests bug list (clicking the progress). It should now disappear when an upgrade is not available any more or you are already in the Upgrade section.
Fixed vacuum being stuck in suction mode when attractor switched off.
This Halloween, I've got something special for you: The Minka. It's an old Japanese house, complete with a creaky oriental deck, that too-quiet tatami room, and a pitch-black cave. I promise, it's designed to make you jump out of your seat a time or two.
With the release of this map, I'm saying goodbye to the early access stage. It's been a wild ride, especially with those pesky Unity hiccups recently. The game might not have blown up the charts, but every moment spent building it has meant the world to me. Your thoughts, comments, and even the critiques has been a huge help.
So, here's a big thanks for diving into the scares with me. If you're up for it, venture into The Minka. And hey, keep the lights on this Halloween, just in case!
What's new:
All new map The Minka.
Updated footstep sounds for tiles.
Return of the pumpkins!
The Minka
An eerie Japanese house, carved into the mountain, once visited by many, now stands silent and haunted.
A little mischief and mayhem never hurt anyone...except the bad guys! Today we're introducing our new Beastmoon Monster Mayhem event.
How Does it Work?
Upon entering a match, creatures are spawned across the map to fight. Defeat all those monsters to spawn a powerful boss in the middle of the map. During the boss fight, Artemis will place some additional monsters outside the Spiral battle which unlock buffs for the players in the boss battle when defeated! If you succeed in defeating the first boss in the time allotted, you’ll move onto the second wave. If you can quickly make your way through three waves of monsters and bosses, you’ll win the whole event!
Be wary – this is very challenging and only the most skilled, coordinated, and luckiest Wizards will make their way through the whole event!
The Beastmoon Monster Mayhem Event has unique repeatable objectives to challenge your skills! See Meleager while the event is active for more information!
Beastmoon Monster Mayhem Vs. Beastmoon Hunt
Unlike the Beastmoon Hunt, Beastmoon Monster Mayhem is a PvE event – meaning that you won’t be playing against other players. Instead, your enemy is the clock and waves and waves of monsters! Available beastforms in both events are the same. If you have unlocked or tiered up a Beastform in one event, it will be unlocked and/or tiered up in the other event as well.
To unlock Beast Forms, Gold Beastmoon Idols are needed. Only one Gold Beastmoon Idol is required per Beast Form and is permanent for that character.
Beastmoon Monster Mayhem Rewards
Mayhem will be rewarded! You’ll be able to work towards some great rewards including:
Lunari
Beastmoon Seeds
Reagents to craft a special school-specific Beastmoon gear
And more!
Participate in matches and fill up your personal progress bar to receive them!
There’s a lot to discover about the Beastmoon Monster Mayhem Event! To learn more, speak to Artemis in the arena while the event is live.
More good news! Earning points in the Beastmoon Monster Mayhem Event will also earn you points towards your Scroll of Fortune progress for even more rewards.
