Have you tried the Story Mode on the testing branch already? How do you like it? 🐭

To make this new experience as pleasant as possible for you, we want to tell you more about Haversack Hill basics! We’ll start with the resources you need to rebuild the town, and the buildings themselves.

Let’s go through the resources first!
There are 3 new kinds:
🧀 food
🔨 building materials
💎 treasure



How to get them? Easy - by selling or scrapping items from the dungeons! Bigger and rarer items are worth more, so fill in your backpacks to the brim!

You can use the resources not only to construct new buildings in Haversack Hill, but also conduct research to unlock more powerful items. Some buildings will also generate certain resources while you’re busy in the dungeons, for example the Temple will produce treasure, and the Blacksmith - building material.



Speaking of buildings...
...there are so many different kinds to discover! From simple houses that’ll allow you to increase your population, through farms and greenhouses, to military facilities like Fletcher or Barracks, there are ~50 new constructions to place in Haversack Hill and turn it into a proper town.

Many buildings allow you to not only get resources, but also research items. Look for new consumables in the Tavern, visit the Library to learn about powerful relics, or stop by the Magical Mycelium to unlock more magical items!



Your buildings’ placement is also quite crucial! If you want to increase their effectiveness, make sure to combine your strategy skills with city planning knowledge. Put the Fletcher next to the Barracks, add commercial decorations around the Store, or connect the buildings with the Town Hall to boost their efficiency!

Howdy people!
We are pleased to announce the 1.1 update of Rolling Hamster.

CHANGES AND UPDATES
  • Xbox controller and Playstation controller support.
  • You can now resize the game window.
  • Overhaul of the UI to accommodate controller support and reworked the map selection menu for a smoother experience.
BUG FIXES
  • Map selection is now fixed and there is no longer a significant slowdown when looking at the maps before a race.
  • Engines are now silent when the game is paused and when the race is over.

War Thunder - Blitzkrieg Wulf


The Warbond Shop for the “Tropical Storm” Battle Pass season will start on October 25th and will finish on January 24th.

We’d like to present an assortment of goods that will be available for Warbonds that are earned in the Battle Pass! As usual, we have decals, decorations, camouflages, a new stylish pinup, and six premium vehicles!

Pay special attention to the Swedish Sherman III/IV tank — this steel monster boasts impressive armor for its rank, making it able to hold off plenty of attacks and lead the offensive against enemy capture points!

The Warbond shop is available to players that have vehicles of rank III and up and is part of the Battle Pass. You can purchase items with the special ‘Warbond’ currency that can be obtained by unlocking Battle Pass levels.

Open “Shop” → “Warbond shop” to see an assortment where some of the more interesting items can be seen.

Premium vehicles in the new season:

MGB-75

Coming in as a British Coastal Fleet boat of rank II, the MGB-75 boasts a powerful 40 mm automatic cannon, 2 20 mm Oerlikon cannons and Lewis machine guns. A formidable boat to be reckoned with!

H-81A-2

The H-81A-2 is an export variant of the American P-40 for China at rank II. Possessing good speed and able to maneuver well, the H-81A-2 has 2 .12.7 mm guns and 4 machine guns, plus the ability to carry a 500 lb bomb.

Pz.III N

The Pz.III N is a German rank II tank coming in as an all-rounder: good mobility, good armor, and fast reloading of multiple types of shells. The Pz.III N makes for a great medium tank overall.

USS Frank Knox — first time in the Warbond shop

An American rank III Destroyer with decent armor, strong air defense capabilities and powerful and fast-firing cannons! The USS Frank Knox is great for fast and aggressive gameplay. Plus, it’s the first time being in the warbond shop.

P-47D-27 (USSR)

The American P-47D-27, in service with the USSR! This Soviet “Jug” has a rather large ammo capacity and 8 12.7 mm guns and a great combination of FAB 500 and 250 bombs. An overall powerful aircraft in multiple roles!

Sherman III/IV — first time in the Warbond shop


An absolute classic of a tank, the Sherman in Swedish service. Coming in at rank III, the Sherman III/IV possesses a vertical gun stabilzer and a good selection of shells to fire. An overall fun tank to play. Plus, it’s the first time being in the warbond shop.


“Capricorn Zodiac” pinup

For this Battle pass Warbond shop, we’ve got decals that are represented in the trophy for decals from the 2018 Warbond shop, as well as the new “Capricorn Zodiac” pinup, which continues the series of themed decals! In addition to this, the camouflage trophy will provide you with decorations, and will surely amuse car enthusiasts. Player profile icons are also here in a trophy and this time include Soviet tankers, plus trophies that contain random camouflages as usual become available as new store levels are unlocked.

A large number of usable items are also available in the store: boosters, universal backups, wagers and orders, test drives of premium vehicles — even talismans are obtainable at the highest levels of the shop!

Zombie Cure Lab - Jaybiooh
Major Update to address performance issues/ balancing/ bugs:

Overview

Performance improvements:
  • Engine version updated (smaller performance boost)
  • Job system multi-threaded
  • Many smaller performance improvements (See detailed patch notes)
  • Memory leak fix
Content/ Features:
  • Zombies wearing pumpkin hats (Very scary)
  • Pumpkin decoration
  • Seasonal halloween content (Will automatically switch on from now on between 24.10 and 06.11)
  • Gameplay hints in loading screen (And an actual loading screen where you can see progress and such!)
Balancing:
  • Tutorial easier, steps to avoid some frustration.
  • Very easy mission actually very easy now; Zombies deal almost no damage.
  • Difficult mission less difficult. (Elite Zombies were almost unbeatable)



Patch Notes 0.20.0
Features:
  • New loading screen with loading bar and gameplay hints
  • Treatment chamber now shows status that resources are missing for treatment (Previously only showed when inputs were empty, but requires full inputs to operate)
  • Seasonal content, for the time of 24.10. to 06.11 the game will show Halloween content with Zombies wearing pumpkin hats and more to discover!
  • New pumpkin deco assets (permanently)
  • Research tables, data simulators and T4 fridges now show a floating text with what resource they just produced to give better feedback.
  • When placing a building in invalid location it now creates a floating text explaining why placement was invalid.

Balancing:
  • Difficult mission decreased Zombie damage, more nights without zombies and less damage for elite Zombies to make the mission beatable.
  • Tutorial smaller changes to reduce frustration and improve onboarding. Also changed Zombie reduced zombie damage to dealing almost none, to better guarantee that you can’t lose the tutorial. Zombie waves also only start when player has built defenses.
  • Scientists turned into Zombies now carry a lesser weapon to deal less damage (Also affected tutorial difficulty)
  • No more boss zombie in tutorial.
  • Snowball shooter T2 and T3 deals a little more damage to tackle high health Zombies that can appear relatively quick in higher difficulty missions.
  • Damage effects of Zombies attacking buildings increased in size.
  • Reduced chase speed of Zombies (Was off the charts for some reason)
  • Very easy mission zombies almost do no damage now, very small decrease left with high threat levels, should now be actually very easy.

Fixes/ Improvements:
The new engine version, multi-threading and performance improvements were major changes for the game and took quite a while and required lots of testing.
  • Updated engine version which should already improve performance a bit.
  • Job system now works with multi-threading, reducing CPU bottleneck performance problems. Big bases with lots of workers should see larger performance improvements.
  • Fixed a memory leak regarding power pole placement, potentially reducing problems with the app occupying to much RAM.
  • Small performance improvements (Reduced number of implicit casts, less character checks, smarter temperature visualization updates, health bars optimized, other)
  • Lazy loading for menus
  • Iron Ore/ Resource pick up problem fixed with resources sometimes not being picked up.
  • Improved distance weighing for resource pick up drop off points, choices were to bring gathered resources are weight better with smaller distances.
  • Big music notes bug fixed, reduced scale.
  • Fixed a problem with tree nursery deletion.
  • Cure progress option now hidden when antidote progress reached maximum

Known Issues/ Problems:
We made lots of changes to the technical core of the game, testing the game in every possible way to ensure everything runs stable costs lots of time and there are changes that instability problems will manifest in the late game.

PERFORMANCE: Depending on what your bottleneck is, performance might only slightly improve as we mainly tackled CPU and not GPU. Meaning if your graphic card can't handle Zombie Cure Lab, it probably still can't.

Loading old savegames from 0.19.4 is not garuanteed to work, we changed to much logic in the game.
But let us know! We are still in early access and every input helps, savegames and logs fuels our bug solving engine. Write us here in the comments, open a discussion in the steam forums, write an ingame bug report (Good to send savegames and logs and yes we read all of them) or join our discord!
