We just released a Halloween update for our chicken fans! You will see a halloween decoration here and there and the most important - you will be able to acquire a super exclusive witch hat.
Halloveen update will be live from 24.10.23 to 02.11.23
New! -We've added the first five Steam achievements. We will be adding more as development progresses.
Bug Fixes / Improvements -Fixed the bug where getting Game Over would get stuck on the title screen, the game will now restart properly. This also affected loading a same from Game Over where you would still be dead on reload, so both functions restart the game. -We've zoomed out the cameras in the lab as it was difficult to navigate, we've also added a zoomed out center camera of the room. -We've added an extra camera to the elevator of the lab as it wasn't appearing properly. -We've added the grounds map. Note maps are still static until we are confident we have finished the areas and will add the dynamic maps to match with movement tracking. -We've added an extra camera to the upstairs of Asylum that hints round the corner as it was not immediately obvious that you could go there. -Fixed a collision issue outside Asylum -We've removed the monster by the stairs on entry of the game, as it is too quick to attack the player before they can get accustomed to the conrols. -When there is no map we've changed 'MapName' to 'No Map Data' as this was placeholder text. -We've added 'Controls' to the pause hint on the top left corner of the screen to indicate how to view controls with the P key or Start button on the controller. -We've enabled Steam Cloud which will automatically back up your saves to the Steam Cloud service, so if you play from another computer you can pick up where you left off. Saves are stored in C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\Spacefarer Games\SPIRITUS -We've added a sound effect when using the typewriter to save. -Added file in the audiatorium that hints at where the front door key is in Asylum. -The office door downstairs in the Asykum is no longer locked. -The dining hall is no longer locked in the Asylum. -A key is now required for the patient's bedroom door. -A document is left in the bathroom giving a clue where to find the patient's key. -We've moved the camera on the left side of upstairs to show a door that wasn't visible from the viewpoint before, The door leads to a 'treatment' clinic. -Added briefcase item in the treatment clinic (used for later) -Fixed the Spacefarer logo cinematic from being stetched. -We've fixed the transition between cameras in the lab.
Known Issues -Sometimes you may need to enter the key code twice on the panel in the Lab. We are working to fix this bug in a future patch. -Under certain scenarios, Rose may not take over from Albert. If this happens, load to a point before entering the lab and re-enter. We are working to fix this issue, however it will not affect gameplay.
Hello there! It's time for another Loco Motive blog, so let's get straight to it!
📣EGX 2023📣
As you may know, earlier this month we took Loco Motive to the UK's biggest gaming exhibition: EGX 2023!
Attendees had the opportunity to play an updated 20-minute demo of the game and meet the developers! We had a very positive reception at the show, and the game was busy for all of the four days - We were very lucky to have various creators and press come by and play the demo!
"Robust Games have poured a lot of love into making each and every interaction as vibrant and characterful as possible.." "..It's truly lovely stuff, and every moment just oozes with style and slick exaggeration."
"Despite only spending 15-20 minutes with Loco Motive, it quickly stood out as one of the more memorable games at EGX 2023. Its personality is, without a doubt, what makes it shine. It doesn’t just want you to have fun, but walks step-by-step alongside you to capture that spirit itself. All in all, it’s nothing short of a fantastic time. "
We also had the opportunity to take part in a short interview with adventure game aficionado Laura Cress during the show, which you can watch below:
✨Wishlists!✨
A massive shout-out to you all for adding Loco Motive to your wishlists! thanks to your efforts we recently hit our 70,000 wishlist milestone, and are already well on the way to our next goal! If you haven't wishlisted Loco Motive on Steam already, let's make it happen!
We're excited to continue sharing updates with you as we make progress on the game, but that’s all for now! We’ll be sharing more progress as we go, but in the meantime, you can follow us for updates on Twitter or join the official Robust Games Discord.

Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition - Lady Eridani
The Order of the Dragon is a variant of the Holy Roman Empire civilization in Age of Empires IV and will be available with the expansion.
The Order of the Dragon boasts quality over quantity. With extensively trained and lavishly outfitted nobles bolstering their ranks, the Order of the Dragon excels at raising an elite army unlike any other. Equipped with superior armor, weaponry, and training, the Order of the Dragon’s military lives longer, hits harder, and attacks from greater range than their counterparts. Each unit has specific traits that enhance its capabilities, allowing players to employ a variety of powerful military compositions and counters to thwart their enemies.
A focus on quality carries over into the Order of the Dragon’s economy. Villagers are more expensive, but are hardier, gather faster, and construct buildings more quickly.
Dwellers, the moment you've all been waiting for is drawing near! Deepest Chamber: Resurrection is set to launch version 1.0 today on October 24th. We stand in awe of the incredible support you've shown us during the Early Access phase, which kicked off in June 2021. Your dedication has been the beacon that guided us over the past two years. This game is a truly collaborative effort with over 40 updates, and is a representation of how developers and fans can work together to achieve something special.
What's new in the 1.0 release?
The Catacombs Biome: - In the forgotten catacombs beneath Dolmin, a once-sacred burial site lies shrouded in secrecy. When the Pope arrives on a mission to sway the non-believers towards his pious ways, he is perturbed by the city’s lack of faith. Thus, aided by his cardinals, he decides to sift the righteous from the lost. To keep the residents in check, he erects a powerful magical dome, preventing all who try to flee. However, in an unexpected twist of faith, a mysterious force hinders the Pope from recalling the dome once his work is done. A malevolent force is clearly at play, and the only way to fight back is by venturing ever deeper into these accursed Catacombs…
Wen, The Necromancer: A high-ranking practitioner of forbidden knowledge, Wen commands the chilling power of necromancy, controlling life and death with eerie skill. Although her childhood remains a mystery, the Academy’s records state that she and her fellow acolytes concealed their dark practices from the disapproving grandmasters. Eventually, dark magic gained acceptance through the Queen's approval, sparking conflicts between 'light' and 'dark' magic students. In hushed tones, people spoke of a secret dark magic sect in Dolmin, with Wen being somehow inexorably involved in its unholy arts.
Endgame content: The ultimate fight draws near… As the mysterious forces that ensnared the city come within reach, the last pieces of the puzzle start falling into place. Delve deep into the Catacombs, gear up, and brace yourselves for what lies ahead!
Full Controller Support: Mouse + keyboard or Controller? Pick your weapon of choice!
Steam Deck Compatibility: We've tested Deepest Chamber: Resurrection extensively, and we're happy to share it runs PERFECTLY on Steam Deck, now with support for Deck controls! See for yourself! We'll be getting the verified checkmark as soon as we can!
